Come learn more about Teach For America at an information session just for Honors College students! Teach For America is a non-profit organization that enlists top leaders to commit to teach for two years in a low-income community after they graduate from college. Essentially, we are a full-time job (with salary and benefits!) that accepts all majors. We place in 43 different regions across the country, both rural and urban. We exist because of the achievement gap in our country. Right now, students living in poverty have a 50% chance of graduating from high school and only an 8% chance of graduating from college. We need top leaders to commit to being a transformational teacher for two years after graduation!
