The Society of Women Engineers at Georgia Tech is pleased to be hosting an engineering outreach program,targeted for females grades 9-12 who are interested in math, science, or engineering. The program will be offered:Saturday, December 1,2012 from 9 am-2:30 pmat the Georgia Tech Bill Moore Student Success Center. Space is limited to 150 girls on a first-come, first-serve basis, so register early!There will be a parent's information program offered in the morning free of charge for parents with children attending the event. No ticket required for parents. Additional details will be provided the week of the event.
Through the program, high school girls will be:Introduced to various engineering majors and career optionsEncouraged to pursue an interest in math, science and engineering through hands-on experiencesProvided with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with current female engineering studentsTentative activities will include:Hands-on projects and activitiesCampus Tour (weather dependent)Georgia Tech Student question & answer paneland MORE!
