WRONG!!!!!!

If the current private schools were populated exclusively with black children, Everyone would still be trying to get their kids into them, black or white.

We have gotten to the point which every liberal has claimed to want. People judge people based n their actions, not their skin color. If black families behaved in such a way that they could afford the best schools (in other words, private ones) so be it. They would still be the best schools, regardless of who went there.

Liberals just can't handle the fact that people aren't being judged by their skin color, like they want them to be.

Well, your premise is not based in reality. Blacks rarely grow up with 2 parents, and rarely have or will spend 15k a year to pay for a private school. Different culture. I wonder how parents who send their child to a top private school would feel if the govt subsidized half of the school to be inner city black kids.. Doubt they would be happy, and doubt white people would still pay 15-20k a year to send their child there.

A school made of all all black kids, that grow up with single mothers will also have slow learners. That prevents it again from being a top school.

My point is this... I own a construction business, and LITERALLY the exact same house , in the same part of town, but on the dividing line of different school districts will vary drastically in price. One will be 300k, and the other 750k. The one for 750 k has blacks priced out of the school district, so white families with the money will pay the extra amount to send their child to the "better" or "white" public school.

The whites your talking about and the whites he is talking about are two different type of whites. The one the author is talking about really doesn't exist. If a white family moves to a over priced subdivision in a predominantly white neighborhood then they would have already avoided Blacks. There school would be predominantly white (Centennial, Johns Creek, Brookwood, etc) These families still send there children to private schools. The reason is education not race. The author is talking about a mythical white that can't afford to live in a predominant white neighborhood, but still pay 20K a year per kid in private school. This would mean he choose to live with blacks just not go to school with them. Most likely this is an angry white guy who wishes he could afford to send his kids to private school, because his daughter has a black boyfriend. BTW, single parenthood is a symptom of poverty not race. Statically, poor white children grow up in single parent homes just as often as poor blacks. There are just many more poor black people.

Wow. Your original post makes a little more sense now.

Obviously, you aren't afraid of being called a racist like you claim other people are because you actually revel in your racism. However, that will make you attempt at arguments that much easier to shoot down.

How is this anybody's fault except the two parents who choose not raise the child they are responsible for? You can't just say "Different Culture" and pretend that's an excuse for their irresponsibility.

And your silly premise of the government forcing a private school to take half inner city kids is pretty out there, but even given your premise, you're wrong. The private school would have no problem getting people to pay for the other half of those slots provided that the inner city kids were held to the same entrance requirements, dress code and discipline standards. It may not be all of the same families, but they would still be full.

You used to play dress up in your grandfather's attic with his hood and robes, didn't you? But, I'll actually shoot you down on this one, too.

All schools have some slow learners. Whether the kid is black or white doesn't have anything to do whether they will be a slow learner. Does having a single parent matter? Irrelevant because this goes back to your first point, which I've already proved silly.

One of the biggest reason housing prices fluctuate is what school district the house is in. That happens every where, regardless of what color the population is. I am not sure why you think that black families are somehow not allowed to make a lot of money, though?

I openly will admit I AM racist. My point is that most people are, yet are afraid to admit it. White people might say one thing, but generally do not want to be around blacks. This nation would be in a better place if they would admit that.

Racism does not mean I dislike others, or mistreat anyone. It means I feel the races are generally much different in the USA.

So, what do white people do in big cities when it comes to schooling.. They either...

A. Run far away to suburbs to live with other white people, and send their kids to PUBLIC schools. This often times means losing hours each day driving to and from work. (Oh, but they are not racist!)

B. Live in the city, but find a small pocket of overpriced homes in which the PUBLIC school they send their child to will have mainly white kids.(oh but they are not racist!)

C. Live in the city, and both work their tails off to afford private schools.. Once again, sending their kids to white schools.

Wake up and face reality.. People would rather move, drive for hours, or pay exorbitant fees for private schools than to see their blond hair and blue eyed little Suzy mingling with poor black boys.

Only IDIOTIC parents who do not spend anytime with their kids at all would need to rely on the schools to educate their children for 100% of their education. If any school was all white, the vast majority of white people have no need for private schools. It is just a way to avoid your offspring mingling with blacks and hispanics.

Let me put it this way..

When I grew up in Ohio, my entire city did not have ANY minorities.. There was NO PROBLEM at all with public schools. Many of my classmates went on to excellent universities, have great lives, great careers etc. Keep in mind this was not a rich area, but a blue collar town. I did not grow up with one friend who dropped out of school.

Now, due to the browning of America and major cities, and the fact that minorities have far more children, public schools are synonymous with gangs, unruly students, drop outs, etc. How can a public school teach children when many of them are just learning English in the first grade? Most of the black kids have a struggling mom who has no time at all to tutor their child? Of course, it is not possible.

So, my theory is that it is not public vs private that is the issue, but more or less the racial make up of the students. America is sliding so far down that in order just for your child to receive a safe and borderline decent education white people must pay huge amounts of money, one way or another, to achieve that.

So, white people either work their ass off or run. The whole race issue is the 800 pound gorilla in the room people are afraid to mention. Now it is passed off as private schools are better.. Or their are some good public schools. The reality is that people will pay any amount just to avoid blacks..

The only reason people work their ass off is to provide better things for their children. Using your logic, if there was a school in an affluent black neighborhood, white families would rather send them to a school in a low income, high crime neighborhood full of white kids. It doesn't make sense.

Liberals need to continue to pretend there's an 800 pound gorilla because fear is all they have left. People really are starting to be judged based on the content of their character. Turns out, that's a nightmare scenario for liberals.

In your original post you mentioned "reforms." What sort of reforms? If we take your explanation that black schools are inferior simply because they are black schools, what could be changed?

Are black kids dumber than white kids? No, but even if they were, nothing could be done about it.

Are black families being prevented from raising children in a two parent household, or prevented from earning more than a certain amount of money? No, and even if they were, all you'd have to do is point out examples and the outrage over it would take care of itself.

The only thing parents care about is quality of education and crime rate at the school. If there are kids with tattoos on their neck who can't keep their pants up, parents don't want them at their kids school regardless of what color their skin is.

Your analogy makes little sense as I never heard of an all white neighborhood with high crime and poor schools, and an affluent black neighborhood with excellent schools. I am guessing it is possible, but far from reality. Not a choice whites are often faced with.

Income in many parts of the WHITE world, has no effect on education. In many dirt poor parts of the Ukraine, where teachers were paid with Vodka, those children blew away American kids in math and science while learning English at the same time. Poverty is not synonymous with lack of education or intelligence.

The issue with people today, is that what used to be the far left now makes up even the majority of the right due to political correctness and cultural Marxism.

To be honest, yes, the African race, is less intelligent than all other races. That is not nice, but it is reality. Intelligence largely is the ability to think ahead, and if you watch the actions of mainstream black America you can see this ability is largely lacking. Which leads to high rates of crime, more Std's, more illegitimate children, and a lack of future planning.

As America becomes more brown, it seems the only choice for white families is to work themselves to death and pay out the wazoo for something as simple as schools for children. Perhaps this is a less fearsome task than possibly being called "Racist"..

Pick almost any town in West Virginia. Google the Wonderful Whites of West Virginia. You'll see a community of 95% white people (dirt poor) who have all the criminal statistics of an inner-city community. Then Google Western High is Baltimore, Maryland which is 86% Black (affluent Black). Poverty is the cancer, not race.

I have five teachers in my immediate family, all under the age of 40. I have asked them several times what their main job as a teacher is and each, in approxiatly the same words has said, "to get my students to fit into society."

But, society changes and if the teachers are "getting the students to fit into society", which society are they preparing them for? Remember the California school that wanted to teach ebonicts?

I typically interview several hundred high school kids for our apprenticeship program every year. Out of those I interview, about 10% have the basic skills to go into our program, but all of them "fit into" society real well.

Schools need to go back to giving the kids a basic tool kit and not about how they will fit into the world. All the feel good stuff does not make a payday. Give the kids a good tool kit and give them a fair chance in the world and then let it be up to them to fail or suceed.

When schools started trying to fix all the social problems, that is when schools started going downhill. Goldplate the schools and teachers pay and you will still have the same problems as long as they are trying to "fix" things that can only be fixed by the family.

By the way I am a Hispanic. I think that is what we are being called this year, it might have changed.

I think there are some fundamental problems..

For example, there are 500,000 illegal aliens in metro Atlanta that have several kids..

Typically they speak Spanish at home until the child attends school. How can a public school teach properly when large amounts of the class do not even know English?

How can public schools function when a large proportion of students are African American, usually do not have a father, have no plans to graduate, and speaking properly is "acting white"?

I can only speak from my own public school experience, about 15 years ago..Almost everyone in my all white school graduated, many went on to MIT, Harvard, etc, and we were a blue collar group of kids.

Raising a child now, I have 3 realistic choices.. Pay 20k a year for private school, move far away and find some white enclave, or spend several hundred thousand on a home in a "good school district"

Of course, I still have to pay tax, insurances, save for my retirement, etc etc..

OK, you white folks are just getting silly about this education stuff.

I am Hispanic, and never spoke English until I went to 1st grade. I am 62 and there was no "English as a second language" or teachers helper that spoke Spanish; we had Mrs. Dodson and her 18 inch ruler. The school system did not twist itself into knots worrying about what I would become and the white kids did not run away into "private schools" to get away from us or the black kids.

We were expected to learn English, and we did. We were expected to do our lessons, and we did. If we failed or succeeded, it was up to us. If we came from a family with two parents, one parent, drunk or sober, it was none of the schools business.

I know illegal immigrants.. I know their children are 10 years old and in the second grade. They ship their kids to school and do not care at all that they do not even know English. "Oh we speak Spanish, American school teach them English!"

I was born to immigrants myself. Guess what? We spoke English at home. We live in America and speak English. Amazing. I am German and Russian however, not Hispanic.

And when the kids get home from school, can Hispanic parents help them with anything? Of course not.. Do they have a clue as to what, or if their kids are learning. Of course not.. Dump them in American schools and have no responsibility. Complete laziness.

Fredrick Douglass said it best in a message to the American Missionary Association in 1884 when he was asked what should be done with the Negro. Douglass replied, "Do nothing with him, give him fair play and let him alone." In the 127 years since Douglass made that statement, not a year has gone by that our government has not tried to "fix" the problems with one race or another.

I guess in 2011, it is the Hispanic's turn to be called ignorant, lazy, and violent. You paint all of us, legal and illegal, with a wide brush and will no doubt come up with programs to "fix" every aspect of our lives.

Twist yourselves into knots and swear that you know just the program needed to "fix" us. Or, to paraphrase Dougless, "Do nothing with us, give us fair play and leave us alone."

By the way, my people have lived in what is now New Mexico since 1670 yet you still call me a Mexican. The Mexican people did not open the borders, your politicans did in the 1960's. Did you really expect people to live in poverty when Americas prosperity was a short walk away and you did away with the laws keeping them from it?

Now that millions of Hispanics have taken advantage of U.S. policy, you have two choices. Spend billions of dollars trying to "fix" them and continue your gut twisting or do nothing, give them fair play and leave them alone.

It is pretty much the same everywhere.. Brown/brownish people trying to flood predominantly white nations for a "better opportunity"

As though these white nations magically just have a better way of life through complete luck.

Often times these brownish people, lucky enough to jump the border, will not assimilate, learn the language, practice the local customs etc. They want to retain and grow their failed culture in this new land.. And since the white man is so rich, everything is magically free!!!!

As a side note, the illegal alien I know was changing the school his kid attends. He entered his child into a lottery to attend a better school. I asked him him why.. His reply? "Too many mojaras at his school"

"Mojara is a derogatory name for illegal alien.. He said the school has drugs, gangs, etc.. So even him, the Hispanic illegal, wants his kid together with white kids.
