Cristina Gonzalez is a daily creative force for the nationally syndicated ‘Neal Boortz Show’ and is the one of the secret ingredients for the top-ranked website boortz.com.   Her research, writing, editorializing, production, crafting, and directing are showcased in the award-winning ‘Neal’s Nuze’ section of Boortz.com, as well as in the content of the Boortz radio talk show, the top-rated talk show in its ‘flagship’ Atlanta market. 

The cum laude graduate of NYU is often heard on News-Talk WSB, co-hosting the weekend ‘Joel and Cristina’ topical talk show.  Cristina graduated in 2007 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and Political Science.

It is rare in broadcasting and content to begin your career working for one of the most-listened-to radio shows in the nation, but that’s what Cristina did in 2006.    She quickly became one of Neal Boortz’s ‘go to’s’ for deep political, social, and news content and opinion.  When asked how she finds material for the Talkmaster (and so quickly!), Cristina says, “You just have to know what you are looking for.”

Her experience at Jones Radio Networks—which syndicates the ‘Neal Boortz Show,’ ‘The Clark Howard Show’, and more—helped her to understand the impact of network talk radio, and the importance of the local radio.

Pushing the political conversation and thought has always been a part of the Gonzalez pulse.  She studied abroad in Prague in 2006, working for an international Czech publication The New Presence.  Cristina also appeared on “Your World” with Neil Cavuto on Fox News to expose the controversy of conservative bias in the American classroom.  

Her writing has also been published in Washington Square News, The Gallatin Review, Baedeker for student travel, Manhattan South, We Want Media blog, Dancer Magazine and more. 

Cristina’s performances take place in venues outside the internet and beyond the radio dial.  She is also a trained ballerina and modern dancer who has won numerous national awards.  She recently appeared in an internal marketing movie for Procter and Gamble, and performed in Dance 101’s Incarnation at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre.  Cristina teaches contemporary dance at studios around the metro Atlanta area. 

Cristina is first generation Cuban-American (yes, a hyphenated Americanism .. don’t tell Neal!).  She lives in Atlanta with her husband Matt and their rescue Beagle-mix Bella.
