With a seated capacity of over 70,000, the Georgia Dome Atlanta serves as one of the region's largest and most popular hot spots for sports and entertainment events. The Georgia Dome Atlanta, also known as 'The Dome' for short, is currently home to the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons as well as the GSU Panthers. Up until the team moved in 1999, the Georgia Dome Atlanta was also home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks.

Since it first opened its doors in 1992, the Georgia Dome schedule has been jam packed with nationally and internationally distinguished professional sports events like the Super Bowl (XXVIII & XXXIV) and the 1996 Olympics. Atlanta’s Georgia Dome also annually hosts three major football events including the Bank of America Atlanta Football classic, the SEC Football Championship and the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

Of course, the Georgia Dome Atlanta by no means limits itself to professional and college sports events. Also a popular venue for conferences, expos, concerts and more, the Georgia Dome schedule has listed many major names from the worlds of music and entertainment in the past, including U2, WWE and WCW.
