Top Democrats in the Congress gave the signal publicly on Thursday to uncommitted superdelegates: Make up your mind quickly after the primaries end next Tuesday.
Worried about a situation in which Hillary Clinton hangs on even longer, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have been making it clear to fellow superdelegates that it's time to choose sides.
"By this time next week, it will all be over give or take a day," Reid said in a speech in San Francisco on Thursday.
Reports also indicated that Speaker Pelosi was contacting some of the House members who are still uncommitted as well, and urging them to end this never-ending Democratic race.
About 200 superdelegates remain on the sidelines - of those, just over 60 are lawmakers in Congress.
The last thing top Democrats want to see is Obama super-duper close to clinching the nomination next Wednesday morning after the results are in from Montana and South Dakota, only to hear Hillary Clinton say that she's still going to fight on.
It will be interesting to say the least. Maybe the end is near.
Stay tuned.
