There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him.   -- Robert Heinlein

MORE PROOF THAT DEMOCRATS ARE COWARDS

I was doing a little research on Texas history last night.  My father is buried in San Antonio, and my mom still lives there.  I've visited the Alamo several times and an fascinated by its history.  So, in my research I ran across a little fact you probably weren't aware of.  All of the Texans who died at the Alamo were Republicans.  The Democrats, it seems, saw Santa Ana coming and fled to New Mexico.

DRT

See the young man on the left?  His name is Jamel Shelton.  Jamel Shelton is a career criminal.  At the age of 20 he has already been arrested at least 12 times.  Crimes include theft, burglary, trespassing, carrying a concealed weapon, auto theft, assaulting a police officer, obstruction, driving without a license, possession of chronic, cocaine, violation of probation ...

and who knows what else.  That's just the stuff they caught him doing.  Shelton, of course, should have been locked away long ago and for a very long time.  Well, Jamel's luck ran out.  He tried to rob a jewelry store earlier this week in Pompano Beach, Florida.  The owner's son had a gun.  Jamel was DRT. Gotta tell you ...

stories like this absolutely make my day.  A predator tries to rob a jewelry store owner and ends up DRT.

PROPS TO THIS CLINTON

Hey, I'm perfectly willing to give credit to Bill Clinton when its due.  He appeared on Larry King Live recently and addressed the issue of whether or not Hussein had any of those ugly weapons around in violation of his agreement with the U.N.  Clinton said:

"When I left office, there was a substantial amount of biological and chemical material unaccounted for . . . it is incontestable that on the day I left office, there were unaccounted for stocks . . . "

America is under attack.  Terrorism has not been defeated - wounded, perhaps, but not defeated.  You can only imagine how some terrorist organization would have loved to have gotten its hands on some of these weapons.  How dare George Bush move to enforce the U.N. sanctions that Saddam Hussein had ignored for 12 years?

BUT FEAR THIS CLINTON

This woman is speaking up about that evil "vast right-wing conspiracy" again.  It's all part of positioning herself to run for the President.  Many disagree, but unless there is a sharp increase in Bush's popularity I see Hitlary giving this a go in 2004.  If you want a chilling ride into the dark, inner recesses of what passes for the soul of this, America's most dangerous politician, click on the link below and order Carl Limbacher's book.

Order the book.  Know your

enemy.

HERE'S ANOTHER SUMMERTIME READING LIST

A few weeks ago I featured a reading list for your high school students ...

some good reading on politics, economics and other matters to help offset the leftist-socialist agenda that is being fed to them in our union-run government schools.

Here's another list, this one from Marvin Olasky.  These books should give you an understanding of why America has become such a success and why the 20th Century was, as Olasky defines it, such a disaster.  Those of you who aren't busy watching Entertainment Tonight might want to give these books a shot.  Here's your link.

SPARSE NOTES?

Yeah, I know.  Washington is basically deserted ...

not much going on.  So, much of the time I would spend on these notes are being spent instead working on the book.  Might as well make some money with this keyboard.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

Polls show that voters don't trust Democrats on issues of taxes and national security.  Smart voters.

Joel Mowbray is asking the same question that I've asked on the air a few times recently:  Is it possible the US has already found Saddam's weapons, or absolute evidence of them?  Do U.S. investigators know a lot more than they're saying?

http://www.townhall.com/columnists/joelmowbray/jm20030731.shtml

Now the Washington Times is reporting a Pentagon plan called "Big Impact." This is where all information on Saddam's weapons is held back for now ...

with a  "big impact" report being released at some time in the future.  Some time closer to the election, perhaps?

Michelle Malkin looks at fashion.  How low can these teen girls wear their pants?  There are not names like "Too Superlow," Dangerously Low,  and "Down2There."  One rock "star" says "My butt crack showing is like my trademark."

Is Bush playing his cards right on North Korea?  It seems that the demented little gargoyle as dropped his demands for a one-on-one with the U.S.

Looking at next year's election ...

here's your info on which Senate seats are actually competitive, and who has the edge.  You other talk show hosts who read the Nuze should memorize this so you can sound knowledgeable on the air.

Four off-duty Marines attacked by a gang of cowardly rat-bastards in California.  Forget the Sheriff ...

let the Marines hunt these SOBs down.

Have you ever heard of the tri-border area of Latin America?  No?  And did you know that this tri-border area is a major gathering point for Islamic terrorists?  No again?  Well ...

up until I read this Mona Charen column I didn't know squat either.

Do you think that it is possible in this day and age that an airline would buy a 40 million dollar jet that won't fit under a bridge at its home airport?  Whoever made this decision must have been a former government employee.

Charles Krauthammer explains why the display of the bodies of Saddam's spawn was a good thing.  Not only a good thing, but a necessary thing. Fine .. but what's this bit about sewing the nostrils shut?

Now here's some good news.  Poindexter .. the Godfather of the Total Information Awareness program, is history.

Howard Kurtz says that there's a civil war in the Democratic Party .. Liberals vs. "centrists."  Is Howard Dean leading the party off a left wing cliff?

Boy, nothing can screw up a male child more than a game with a score.  Keeping score is a masculine pursuit, you see, and masculinity is "toxic."
