   CHRISTMASEVE

Yes, The Neal Boortz Show will be live today ... and then we take some time off with the rest of you until New Years.  Things are a bit edgy out there though, so rest assured if something big happens I'll be in front of the microphone in a flash.  You can also look for continuous updates to the Nuze while I'm off the air.  Belinda, Royal, Ken (Net Dog) and I hope all of you have a great Christmas and holiday with your families. The best New Year's resolution you can make?  Think positively, recognize that you are a rare and unique human being, go the extra mile, and stay away from negative people.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

I was out celebrating Christmas with my daughter and her husband last night ... so I slept in and you are getting your final version of Nealz Nuze Lite before the holiday.

Now we have mad Muslims and mad cows.  The TSA is going to be stepping up its screening of beef products at our airports.

My most sincere condolences to those of you who are flying into or out of LAX.  In Los Angeles they will not allow private vehicles to drop off or pick up passengers at the terminals.

CBS is going to air a Michael Jackson special.  Somehow I think I missed the CBS Jeffrey Dahmer special while he was awaiting trial.

SOME READING ASSIGNMENTS

It's Christmas Eve ... time for a compilation of Mad Cow Disease stories.
Disease discovered in Washington state.  Well, you can hardly get further away from my home in Atlanta.
Why is the USDA refusing to release its test results for mad cow disease?
New York Times coverage.  You will have to register .. but its free.

Democrats are losing the heart of their electorate.  I would like for my Democratic friends to read this article and tell me if it rings true with you.

William Safire ... Don't stop Dean.

Yesterday it was part one of Thomas Sowell's "Profits without Honor" columns.  Here's part two.  You really ought to give these articles to your high school and college students.  Lord knows they aren't going to learn this stuff in school.

The Free State Project [ http://www.freestateproject.ort ]is starting to get some publicity.  This from Walter Williams.

The ACLU has decided that it is going to go to court to attack voluntary lunchtime prayer at the U.S. Naval Academy.  Damn, these jerks are getting tiring.
