Senator Charles Grassley will introduce a bill calling for the new $400 child tax credit to be extended to families who earn between $10,000 and $26,000. He and other politicians will make noises about "extending the tax cut to poor working families." That's now what they are doing. This will not be a tax cut bill. It will not be a bill to extend tax credits. It's not a tax cut, and it's not a tax credit because these people don't pay federal income taxes. That's why they weren't included in the tax cut bill in the first place. Tax cuts are for people who pay taxes. Tax credits are for people who actually owe taxes. Let's be clear on this bill. Yes, it will pass. Yes, it will cost a bunch of money. No -- it's not a tax cut. IT'S A WELFARE BILL. It's a bill that calls for the government to use its exclusive franchise on the use of force to seize money from people who actually EARN it, and then give that money to people who did NOT earn it, and who would have no legal claim to it whatsoever without the aid and assistance of a looting and plundering government. DON'T LET SCHUMER COAST IN UNOPPOSED! Word is that New York Republicans have all but given up on finding a Republican Senatorial candidate to challenge Chuckie Schumer in 2004. Nonsense! The Republicans have a very good candidate living right there on Long Island. This candidate has strong Republican credentials, he's against all the wrong things and for all the right things. He's telegenic (even without makeup) and knowledgeable on virtually any issue. His past is so squeaky clean it's almost disgusting. He's never had a speeding ticket, never been late turning in a library book, and every other good-looking woman in the world became invisible to him on the day he go engaged to his current and only wife. He regularly tips 20% and makes sure his dog gets a hunk of cheese every night. He even volunteered to deliver his two children just to spare his wife the pain of childbirth. This man is widely known never to have burped or farted .. not even in private. His nose has no booger glands ... therefore forever forestalling that particularly nasty habit, and he smells like a magnolia blossom after a three-hour workout. He will stand by the entrance to his workplace for hours on end just waiting for a woman to come along so he can open the door for her. He has never passed a panhandler in the street without handing over at least a dollar, and he cruises the streets of Newark when the temperature falls below freezing giving away down jackets and hot chocolate to the homeless. All the Republicans have to do is figure out a way to get Sean Hannity to run. CALLING ERIC RUDOLPH WHAT HE IS This e-mail came from a listener last evening: Why is the "media" not calling Rudolph a terrorist? That is what he is, a domestic terrorist. Motivated by his extreme conservative religious and cultural ideals. I wrote the listener back to tell him he had a definite point. Eric Robert Rudolph is a terrorist. What's more, I think he can be called a Christian terrorist. My oh my, is this going to get some folks upset. There are some people who are perfectly willing to sit around all day and talk about how violent the religion of Islam is ... while completely ignoring some of the more violent elements of their own, favored religion.
THE FLORIDA VEILED MUSLIM DRIVER REVEALED! By now you've heard of Sultaana Freeman. Sultaana is the Muslim convert in Florida who is refusing to remove her veil for a driver's license photo. So ... do you want to see what she looks like? Well ... here you go. Sultaana with and without her veil!  Child beater / Devout Muslim Wait a minute! Doesn't that look like a mug shot on the left? Why, yes! I think it is! I guess she was arrested! Well, as a matter of fact she was. It happened in 1997 in Decatur, Illinois, which was after her conversion to Islam. She was arrested for battering a foster child (religion of peace, and all that). In 1999 she plead guilty to felony-aggravated battery and was sentenced to 18 months probation. By the way, since you've seen her face, you might as well know her real name. It's Sandra Keller. Ironic, isn't it? If Sandra/Sultaana had just gone along with the program and allowed her face to be photographed it wouldn't now be plastered all over the Internet. And so it goes. THE FCC NEW OWNERSHIP RULES Ok ... I've finally figured out how I feel with this new FCC ruling "liberalizing" ownership rules for radio and television. It is clear to me that liberals don't like the ruling even a little bit. This means it must be a good ruling. I'm all for it. BUT ... THINKING ABOUT THIS A BIT MORE ... . As I said, so many people, generally of the liberal persuasion, are upset at the new FCC ownership rules for radio, television and newspapers. They say they are concerned that just a few people will control too many of the information outlets in this country. So, they're concerned about control of important institutions being in the hands of a few? How about education? They don't seem to be all that concerned that the federal government working with the National Education Association controls most of the educational process in this country. And these same leftists are working as hard as they can to put the federal government in control of virtually all health care. The truth here is that the left is concerned about losing their dominance in the media. That nasty Rupert character may actually buy a newspaper or too ... .. and that, of course, would be bad for the socialist movement. State wildlife officials in Kentucky destroyed a fertile Bald Eagle egg. They destroyed the egg because it belonged to two captive eagles at a state facility.
