And what is a good citizen? Simply one who never says, does or thinks anything that is unusual. Schools are maintained in order to bring this uniformity up to the highest possible point. A school is a hopper into which children are heaved while they are still young and tender; therein they are pressed into certain standard shapes and covered from head to heels with official rubber-stamps.-- H.L. Mencken

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE DRUGGING YOUR KIDS

In short ... ADHD is a fraud. It's a creation of the psychiatric-pharmaceutical cartel. Those are the thoughts of Fred Baughman Jr., MD.

"They made a list of the most common symptoms of emotional discomfiture of children; those which bother teachers and parents most, and in a stroke that could not be more devoid of science or Hippocratic motive--termed them a 'disease.' Twenty five years of research, not deserving of the term 'research.,' has failed to validate ADD/ADHD as a disease. Tragically--the "epidemic" having grown from 500 thousand in 1985 to between 5 and 7 million today--this remains the state of the 'science' of ADHD."

Here's the website for Baughman. Yes - I know that I am infuriating parents out there who actually feel that they're doing the right thing by drugging their children in order to change their behavior ... but I take great delight in the knowledge that every time I bring this up on the air at least one parent out there steps back a bit to actually think about what they are doing ... and perhaps one kid is saved from these dangerous and addictive drugs.

There's more on this greatest of medical frauds ... so tune in today. Oh, you say I'm offending some parents out there? That's nothing compared to what they're doing to their children.

ANOTHER PRODUCT OF GOVERNMENT EDUCATION

This reader comment appeared in today's Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

"We used to tax and spend to help the needy. Now we tax cut and spend to help the greedy."

There you go. If you want the government to take money away from someone who earned it, and give it to you, is NOT greedy. But ... if you want to keep the money you worked for and earned then you ARE greedy. Every time you see a thought process like this at work you can thank our system of government education.

IT WOULD APPEAR THAT O'REILLY WAS AHEAD OF THE CURVE

Police in Greenville, North Carolina are searching for three armed robbers. Reports are that the robbers held a man and woman at gunpoint while they stole their hubcaps.

By the way ... Greenville police are saying that the incident is being investigated as a "third degree lynching." Say what?

DELUSIONAL

I listened to a debate this morning about condoms for teenagers. One woman was arguing that teens should be taught that condoms might actually reduce the chances for disease or pregnancy. The other woman was arguing that condoms weren't necessary ... all we had to do was to convince these teenagers not to have sex.

Would it be best if teenagers put off sexual activity until they grow up a bit? Sure, that would be nice. Will it happen? Not a chance. Anyone who promotes abstinence at the expense of any other type of sex education is only going to succeed in exposing more teens to illness and pregnancy.

A THIRD TERM

There he was, Bill Clinton, telling a group of slobbering admirers yesterday that our Constitution should be amended to allow someone to run for more than two terms. Maybe just limit them to two consecutive terms.

Evidently Clinton still has quite a list of Chinese military units he wants to strengthen, interns he wants to receive oral sex from, friends he wants to pardon, White House furnishings he wants to steal and lies he wants to tell.

Just keep at it, Slick Willie. Every time you or that hideous so-called "wife" of yours open your mouth more and more Americans are reminded of what an immoral and pathetic president you are. One thing though. If you ever do run again, make sure the American economy is poised for growth, just like it was the last time, or the people will never put up with your sociopathic crap.

GOOD NEWS ABOUT VOTERS

The Social Democratic Party is not feeling to great these days. They've begun to conduct some polls to see how they're going to do in 2004, and they're not at all please with the results. Take, for instance, that intense loyalty that black voters have been showing to the Democrats for generations. In 2000 about 74% of blacks said that they were Democrats. That's down to 63% now, and the slippage is even greater among younger blacks. In 2000 about 4% of blacks said they were Republicans. That number is up to 10%.

In spite of the hundreds of millions of dollars labor unions spend to prop up their favorite Democrats .. more than 33% of union members vote Republican -- and that number is increasing.

Oh .. and there's reason for the government teacher's unions to worry here. Polls show that one of the things that is drawing minorities away from Democrats and to Republicans is the school issue. Minority parents want school choice. They want vouchers. I'm sure there gulping the antacid in the NEA offices.

More about this on the air ... but it's time to wrap up these notes and get out of here ...

Hey ... gotta go do a radio show.

Could it be that the Clintons are the best things the Republicans have going for them right now? Well, maybe not the best thing ... but a sure-enough good thing. Bill and Hitlary are sucking the oxygen out of the Democrat's lungs.

Now here's something I didn't remember about shakedown artist Jesse Jackson. Did you know that after that idiotic California jury let O.J.
