CALIFORNIA IS OLD NEWS ... LET'S DO A LITTLE KOBE OBSESSING

They have a preliminary hearing in Eagle, Colorado in the infamous Kobe Bryant case today ... and the media is once again orgasmic.  Now that California is over Kobe Bryant is once again the most important news story in the entire known universe.  My guess?  Kobe's attorney's waive the preliminary hearing. Koby's attorneys have no chance of preventing this process from moving to the next stage ... so why bring their client to Colorado only to contribute further to this circus atmosphere.

By the way, Kobe is sporting a new tat.  He has the name of his wife tattooed on his arm. How sweet.  Check out the courtroom where Kobe will be tried.  My guess is if the jury will be seated to Kobe's right, the tattoo will be on his right arm; and if the jury is seated on the left ...... well, you get it.  Now he'll just have to find a way to get his suit coat off.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

Wall Street Journal editorial:  "Californians send a message to the political class ... and the press."

Robert Novak seems to think that there's some overriding national significance to Arnold's victory in California.  Well, there is the fact that the left doesn't have a prayer of beating Bush if they don't carry California.

Time for a little history lesson.  You might think that it is a "well known fact" that FDR got us out of the depression.  Read this from Thomas Sowell and be enlightened.

The Los Angeles Times is in a bit of trouble over it's handling of the last-minute media campaign against Schwarzenegger.  The people are responding by canceling subscriptions.  When are the great phoo-bahs of journalistic ethics going to step forward and be heard?:

Al Franken says that Ann Coulter's book "Treason" is full of lies.  Coulter responds.

Tony Blankley on "The leak." Was someone in the White House trying to protect bush from disloyal CIA employees?
