OH YEAH ... RIGHT, JOHN.  SURE.

So yesterday the White House releases payroll records from Bush's service in the National Guard.  The documents show that Bush did show up for his military service in the National Guard.  The documents show that he completed his military obligation.  So ...what does John Kerry say?  Well, he wouldn't comment.  He said "It's not an issue that I've chosen to create."  Is that so, Mr. Kerry?  Let's see ... just what was it you were saying in front of the cameras on Sunday?  I think it went something like "The issue here .. is was he present and active on duty in Alabama at the times he was supposed to be?  And just because you get an honorable discharge does not, in fact, answer that question."

Let's review.  On Sunday Kerry says "The issue here is was he present and active on duty in Alabama at the times he was supposed to be?:  On Tuesday, after the records are released, Kerry says "It's not an issue that I've chosen to create."  I don't know who actually created this issue, maybe that slug Michael Moore ... but it we know who pushed it for all it was worth for the last week.  Now he's saying "Hey, don't look at me!  I didn't start this thing."

Logic only a liberal could love.

KERRY WINS BIG IN TENNESSEE AND VIRGINIA

With John F. Kerry sweeping both primaries, the front-runner and presumptive nominee is setting his sights on George Bush and the general election.  But the heat is about to be turned up. Way up. We already showed you the photo yesterday of Kerry protesting with 'Hanoi Jane' Fonda, which the Republicans are sure to use. This is going to make the Willie Horton ad look like a public service announcement. Fasten your seat belts.

Then there is the big lie Kerry is going around telling about "taking Washington back from the special interests." I guess he'll also have to take it back from himself, because this guy has been bought and paid for by everyone from big oil to big tobacco. Almost daily we hear a new revelation about his suspicious campaign contributions.

And how about his votes on national security? We already know he considers Al-Qaeda "a law enforcement problem." In Kerry's 19 years in the Senate, he has opposed nearly every weapons system. He supported the nuclear freeze. If Kerry's side had prevailed on these issues American would be unable to defend itself today ... and it is quite possible the Soviet Union would still be around.  This is the type of leadership we need?  He voted against the first Gulf War. And on and on. This is not what people want while the United States is at war.

HAVE WE FORGOTTEN?  SEEMS THAT IT'S SO.

But can Kerry win?  Sadly, he can.  And why?  Because terrorism and our national security is no longer the most important thing on voter's minds.  We're told that voters are more concerned over jobs and the economy.  The economy is fine .. and those people who are concerned about jobs are simply the individuals who made some wrong choices in their educational endeavors and the development of their job skills.  Guess what?  There aren't many Conestoga wagon dealerships in the 'burbs any more, and when was the last time you saw a help-wanted ad for a blacksmith?

Finding and keeping jobs are like investing in real estate.  If you buy a piece of dirt that nobody particularly wants, you're going to lose money.  If you develop a job skill that nobody particularly wants ... evidently you're going to end up whining about it and looking for a Democrat to vote for.  These people are going to jeopardize the security of our nation and our very lives by voting for a candidate who will help them cover up or their own mistakes rather than voting for the candidate who will protect our shores.

WHY DEAN REALLY TANKED

AND THEY SAY THAT "JOHN KERRY HAS PROVEN HIS ABILITY TO WIN IN THE SOUTH"

Yeah, Kerry has proven his ability to win in the South when there's not a Republican candidate in the race.  Every region of this country is populated to one extent or another with people who believe that the ultimate responsibility for their lives lies not with them, but with government.  Every region has voters who build alters to the god of security while running from freedom like it was threat to their very existence.  Alexander Tyler told us well over 150 years ago that no country could survive once its people have learned that they can go to the ballot box to vote themselves money out of the public treasury.  These people exist in America, and they vote for Democrats.  In November those left in this country who actually believe in freedom, economic liberty and the concept of individuality get to have their voices heard.  Hopefully there are still enough of them around.

FROM TODAY'S AJC VENT

John Kerry's campaign can be summed up in one sentence: "I was in Vietnam and you weren't."

THE WEASEL GOES BACK INTO HIS DEN

Weasley Clark, the man who first thought that this country was blessed to have George Bush as it's president, and then sought to unseat him, is leaving the scene today.  This incredible exercise in egomania is coming to a close.  He won one primary, Oklahoma.  Maybe now he can get back to whatever his lifestyle was that caused his Bosnia boss to question his integrity and character.  No ... wait.   Politics would have been a perfect place for such a man.  I guess that means he'll be back.

And what are Michael Moore and Madonna going to do? The Hollywood left was really banking on Weasley's military service to outrank George Bush in the fall. Actually, polls show that most people don't really weigh military service that heavily when they are voting for a President. So much for that.

It looks like Weasley will have to return to saying nice things about the Bush administration on CNN, if they'll take him back. It really is too bad...I still want to know why Bill Clinton fired him.

HAVE YOU HEARD OF ABU MUSAAB AL-ZARQAWI?

Yup ---- another Islamic terrorist, and a particularly dangerous one.  Our military has come up with a memo from this Islamo-Fascist extolling Al Qaeda to get into Iraq and start a civil war.  He's calling for massive attacks on Sunni Muslims to get the civil war under way.  An interesting part of the memo is that Al-Zarqawi, who operates and has been operating in Iraq .. yes, before the war ... feels that the American effort in Iraq is working, and U.S. intelligence is getting better.

DICK MORRIS IS STILL PUSHING HILLARY FOR V.P.

Did you catch Morris on last night's Hannity and Colmes?  He thinks that the strongest Democratic ticket for this November would be John Kerry and Hillary Clinton.  After all, what is she going to do for the next eight years if he wins without her?  Her dream of a 2008 campaign would be toast.  And if he loses?  Well, she's still in the Senate and she's the presumptive front-runner for the 2008 Democratic nomination.  What fun!

READING ASSIGNMENTS

Everybody in the country realizes Howard Dean's campaign is over, except, maybe, Howard Dean.  It was one of the most spectacular political crashes I've ever seen. Christopher Hitchens says that Dean's self-destruction is reason to take heart.

Here's some good news ... there is evidently some life in the Republican Party yet.  Congressional Republicans are looking for more spending cuts than Bush has proposed.  Let's see how long this lives.

Bad news for the eco-radicals.  A study conducted in the Amazon Basin has shown that the earth puts a natural brake on global warming.  The growth rate of trees in the Basin has almost doubled in recent decades.  Nifty the way things work, isn't it?

I first put this picture on my website yesterday.  Today the Washington Times is reporting that veterans aren't reacting all that positively toward Kerry.  Quick ... let's get more pictures of John Kerry and Jane Fonda together!

If congress can't bring itself to eliminate funding for the National Endowment for the Arts then what hope is there of any meaningful cut in government spending?

A Vietnam veterans organization has united with a Vietnamese-American group to oppose John Kerry.

The White House has released Bush's military record. Of course, this won't matter to the DNC and liberals like Terry McAuliffe. Remember: military service didn't matter when Clinton was in office, but it does now. Hypocrites.

The North Vietnamese general in charge of the military campaign that drove the U.S. out of South Vietnam in 1975 credited a group led by John Kerry with helping him achieve that victory.

Walter E. Williams says we should be governed by rules, not men.

Thomas Sowell explains that history is so full of wrongs that there are almost unlimited ways to go wrong in trying to correct them.

An excellent column about how we should execute Carlie Brucia's killer.

Remember Ross Perot complaining about the 'giant sucking sound' of jobs leaving the country? It hasn't stopped his company, which just added 3,500 jobs in India.
