THANKS BIO-PLUS

Interesting evening, my friends.  I flew to Ashburn, Georgia to address the Bio-Plus 2004 Executive Convocation at the Little River Plantation.  An interesting crowd, from places as diverse as Pakistan and Germany.  Thanks so much for the tremendous hospitality, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.  A special thanks for the folks who showed up to shine their headlights on the runway so that my friend and I could take off and fly back to Atlanta.  Y'all get those runway lights fixed, you hear?

WONDER WHY YOU HAVEN'T HEARD ABOUT THIS?

If you use this link to visit the USA Today website you will be treated to a flash presentation of several pictures taken during the siege of Fallujah.  Picture number two in this presentation shows 40 vials in boxes labeled "Sarin."  That's Sarin gas, my friends.  One drop of this stuff on your skin can kill you.  The boxes have Cyrillic and German characters on them, indicating they may have come from our good friends the Russians or the Germans.  The caption under the photo reads "Marines discovered 40 vials of suspected Sarin gas while searching a house in Fallujah, Iraq.  It was secreted in a briefcase hidden in a truck in the courtyard of the house."

So ... there you go.  Weapons of mass destruction.  Chemical weapons.  This Sarin gas could, with an effective application, kill thousands.  And where do they find it?  In a briefcase!  A briefcase in a car trunk. And you wonder why our troops have had some difficulty finding Saddam's weapons?  You still think inspections could have worked?  Yeah, sure they would.  The inspectors were going to look in every car trunk and every briefcase in Iraq.

What you see in that picture is proof that the only way to even come close to neutralizing the threat that Saddam posed was to remove him from power.  Nothing else was going to work.

Meanwhile ... just watch the critics whistle past this one.  If you don't mention the vials of Sarin gas, they just don't exist ... do they?

This may turn out to be a Sarin gas test kit. As Drudge would say...developing...

MUSLIMS ARE ANGERED

I understand that Muslims are a bit upset that an injured insurgent was shot in a Mosque in Fallujah.  Tell you what.  There's a lot of Marines who are upset about being shot at from Mosques.  When insurgents attack American forces from Mosques, those buildings cease being a Mosque.  They become an enemy stronghold.  When the world's Muslims show one-half the concern for the actions of their brethren that they express over the actions of American and coalition forces maybe we'll start paying some attention.

The Pentagon says that it's concerned how this video is going to play in the Arab world.   At this point, who gives a damn?  The Arab world is quite proud of the videos it shows of Arabs cutting heads off Americans.  They seem to handle that quite well.  They even celebrate it.  Let them be angered.  We're angered too.  When they start to adopt some semblance of civilized behavior maybe we'll start being more concerned about their feelings.

ELECTIONS ON TIME IN IRAQ

You won't hear this from the mainstream media, but in 14 of the 18 Iraqi provinces things are stable and they're ready to have elections today.  Right now.  The insurgents are active in the other four ... doing everything that they can possibly do to prevent the people of Iraq from having any voice whatsoever in who shall lead them and in what direction they shall go.

ISLAMIC TERRORISTS KILL INNOCENT WOMAN

A video has surfaced showing the cold-blooded killing of Margaret Hassan, the woman who headed a humanitarian organization called CARE International.  She lived in Iraq for 30 years and dedicated herself to helping Iraqis.  The thanks for her tireless efforts came in the form of a bullet to the head.  The video shows her blindfolded and wearing an orange jumpsuit.  Yet, just as always, the terrorist-appeasing media refuses to acknowledge the following irrefutable facts:

  • Margaret Hassan was executed at point-blank range by terrorists.

  • These terrorists were Muslims, and thus can be accurately described as Islamic terrorists.

  • The vicious bastards that killed her believed that in doing so, their actions were approved by Allah, and will be rewarded in the after life.

Nowhere in any of the mainstream press coverage will you see her killers being described as anything less than "insurgents."  Some of the coverage makes it sound like she died as the result of an accident or something.  If it's not that, then it must be George Bush's fault for invading Iraq, angering the insurgency, and making them kill her.  It's simply amazing that the leftist media in this country refuses to properly identify the enemy in the war on terror.  They're too busy apologizing for the actions of the insurgents and doing stories about the "root causes" of terrorism.

Now ... think about this.  A US Marine puts a bullet in the head of a terrorist, a terrorist he thought was playing dead.  Just a day or two earlier this very same Marine lost a good friend to a booby-trapped body of a "dead" insurgent terrorist.  Now that we know this, I'm prepared to give this Marine a pass.  Good going, Marine.  Now we see more outrage over what the Marine did than we see over the murder of this innocent, caring woman.   What's wrong with this picture?

PROTECTING INSURGENTS?

The Associated Press is reporting that the video showing a U.S. Marine icing an insurgent on-camera has "raised questions about the protection of insurgents once they are out of action."  Huh?  They must be kidding.  Sadly, they are not.

It's been easy to see for some time, but now they are officially putting it in print: the media is more concerned about the lives of Islamic terrorists in Iraq than they are of United States soldiers.  Just whose side are they on, anyway?  It doesn't look like it's ours.

The media is now doing stories about how the videotape is angering the Arab world.  Of course, it is the press themselves that are fanning the flames.  Never mind the fact that the United States under President George Bush has liberated more Muslims from tyranny than any single other person living.

Yet we're not doing enough to protect people that are trying to kill us. Right.

THE POODLE STILL HOLDING OUT FOR OHIO

John Kerry is headed back to the Senate, and he gave an interview with a Boston television reporter, and he let something slip that is very telling.  He was asked about running in 2008, and The Poodle reminded the interviewer that Ohio was still counting votes from 2004.  Oh really? What is that supposed to mean?

Does he think that somehow miraculously an extra 136,000 votes are going to be found to put him over the top?  He must be reading too many conspiracy theories on the Internet.  How long before John Kerry stops holding his tongue and accuses President Bush of stealing another election?  Will his gracious defeat last even 6 months?  Time will tell.  Maybe he'll join Al Gore in taking a trip right off the deep end.

Kerry commented further about 2008, saying "If there's a next time, we'll do a better job. We'll see."  He can forget that....2008 is going to be The Hildabeast's show.  The Poodle will drift off into political obscurity as another Democrat that couldn't get it done.

But hey...they're still counting votes in Ohio...anything could happen!  Not.

AND WHO'S THE LEADING DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR 2008?

According to the newest Gallup poll, it's none other than Hillary Clinton!  There's going to be ample opportunity to deal with Hillary in the coming years. Every once in a while I'll just step in here to remind you that Hillary:

  • Thinks that America is great because of its government.
  • Is fundamentally dishonest ... to the core.
  • Is a socialist
  • Is an elitist snob who sees the common man as nothing more than a means to an end.

Please run, Hillary.  What a great campaign it would be for talk radio.  What will you do to try to shut us up?  Maybe you can hide us all in a closet in your private living quarters as you did with those tell-tale Rose Law Firm billing records.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

NBC says Colin Powell was pushed out as Secretary of State by President Bush.  They apparently didn't believe him when he said his intention was only to serve a single term.

Kofi Annan, the corrupt UN Leader, is working hard to duck any responsibility for the Oil for Food scam.  Hopefully you aren't surprised.

The construction crew on the Bill Clinton presidential library says it looks like a mobile home.  Will there be a refrigerator on the porch and a rusty car up on blocks out front?  We'll have to wait and see.

With the baby boomers about to retire, what is the solution to health care costs?  Mortimer B. Zuckerman says people need to stop demonizing the drug companies, and should be careful what they ask for.

Kofi Annan says the United Nations has a fundamental disagreement with the United States over Iraq.  Arizona Senator Jon Kyl says we have a fundamental disagreement over more than just Iraq.

As Colin Powell leaves the cabinet, Peter Brookes argues that he leaves behind a fine legacy.  He also says Powell's much talked about disagreements with other administration officials are just that - talk.

The media is worried that Porter Goss is cleaning house at the CIA, and Michael Ledeen explains how that's a good thing.  While they're at it, they should clean out the FBI too.

The media is fretting about Colin Powell's departure...saying that he was somehow fired without dignity instead of resigning.  The Media Research Center is on the case.

Some are actually saying that the hurricane destruction in Florida has been good for the economy overall.  Walter Williams blows that stupidity out of the water.

Now that the election is in the rear view mirror, a new urban legend has been born: George W. Bush was elected by right-wing zealots.  Kathleen Parker does a little myth-busting.

George Will has some questions
for Condi Rice, now that she will be the next secretary of state.

Michelle Malkin recounts a case of a dead child
involving abusive parents and an incompetent system that gave the child back to the murdering parents.  One of those parents has been released from prison.

Before you return to whatever you were doing, read how unions can make life absolutely miserable for anyone performing at Carnegie Hall in New York.
