| Wednesday, November 17, 2004 THANKS BIO-PLUS Interesting evening, my friends. I flew to Ashburn, Georgia to address the Bio-Plus 2004 Executive Convocation at the Little River Plantation. An interesting crowd, from places as diverse as Pakistan and Germany. Thanks so much for the tremendous hospitality, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. A special thanks for the folks who showed up to shine their headlights on the runway so that my friend and I could take off and fly back to Atlanta. Y'all get those runway lights fixed, you hear?
If you use this link to visit the USA Today website you will be treated to a flash presentation of several pictures taken during the siege of Fallujah. Picture number two in this presentation shows 40 vials in boxes labeled "Sarin." That's Sarin gas, my friends. One drop of this stuff on your skin can kill you. The boxes have Cyrillic and German characters on them, indicating they may have come from our good friends the Russians or the Germans. The caption under the photo reads "Marines discovered 40 vials of suspected Sarin gas while searching a house in Fallujah, Iraq. It was secreted in a briefcase hidden in a truck in the courtyard of the house." So ... there you go. Weapons of mass destruction. Chemical weapons. This Sarin gas could, with an effective application, kill thousands. And where do they find it? In a briefcase! A briefcase in a car trunk. And you wonder why our troops have had some difficulty finding Saddam's weapons? You still think inspections could have worked? Yeah, sure they would. The inspectors were going to look in every car trunk and every briefcase in Iraq. What you see in that picture is proof that the only way to even come close to neutralizing the threat that Saddam posed was to remove him from power. Nothing else was going to work. Meanwhile ... just watch the critics whistle past this one. If you don't mention the vials of Sarin gas, they just don't exist ... do they? This may turn out to be a Sarin gas test kit. As Drudge would say...developing... I understand that Muslims are a bit upset that an injured insurgent was shot in a Mosque in Fallujah. Tell you what. There's a lot of Marines who are upset about being shot at from Mosques. When insurgents attack American forces from Mosques, those buildings cease being a Mosque. They become an enemy stronghold. When the world's Muslims show one-half the concern for the actions of their brethren that they express over the actions of American and coalition forces maybe we'll start paying some attention. The Pentagon says that it's concerned how this video is going to play in the Arab world. At this point, who gives a damn? The Arab world is quite proud of the videos it shows of Arabs cutting heads off Americans. They seem to handle that quite well. They even celebrate it. Let them be angered. We're angered too. When they start to adopt some semblance of civilized behavior maybe we'll start being more concerned about their feelings. You won't hear this from the mainstream media, but in 14 of the 18 Iraqi provinces things are stable and they're ready to have elections today. Right now. The insurgents are active in the other four ... doing everything that they can possibly do to prevent the people of Iraq from having any voice whatsoever in who shall lead them and in what direction they shall go.
Nowhere in any of the mainstream press coverage will you see her killers
being described as anything less than "insurgents." Some of the
coverage makes it sound like she died as the result of an accident or
something. If it's not that, then it must be George Bush's fault for
invading Iraq, angering the insurgency, and making them kill her. It's
simply amazing that the leftist media in this country refuses to properly
identify the enemy in the war on terror. They're too busy apologizing for
the actions of the insurgents and doing stories about the "root
causes" of terrorism.
According to the newest Gallup poll, it's none other than Hillary Clinton! There's going to be ample opportunity to deal with Hillary in the coming years. Every once in a while I'll just step in here to remind you that Hillary:
Please run, Hillary. What a great campaign it would be for talk radio. What will you do to try to shut us up? Maybe you can hide us all in a closet in your private living quarters as you did with those tell-tale Rose Law Firm billing records. READING ASSIGNMENTS Kofi Annan, the corrupt UN Leader, is working hard to duck any responsibility for the Oil for Food scam. Hopefully you aren't surprised. The construction crew on the Bill Clinton presidential library says
it looks like a mobile home. Will there be a refrigerator on the porch
and a rusty car up on blocks out front? We'll have to wait and see. Before you return to whatever you were doing, read how unions can make life absolutely miserable for anyone performing at Carnegie Hall in New York. | ||
