FROM SAN DIEGO

Once again I'm on the San Diego Schedule .. and the program notes responsibility falls to my loyal staff.

SCOTT SLADE! YOU STUD!

I do have the time to write this special note though. Last night our morning news man at my flagship station, News Talk 750 WSB in Atlanta, was awarded the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award as the number one large market radio personality in the country. That, my friends, is an awesome accomplishment. No radio station is better than its morning show ... and that's what makes WSB the top-rated AM radio station in the nation. Congratulations Scott!

ISLAMIC TERRORISTS STRIKE EGYPT

Israel's deputy defense minister says it is likely that Al-Qaeda is responsible for the bombings in Taba, Egypt.  They also aren't ruling out Palestinian terrorists.  Three resorts that are popular destinations for Israeli tourists were bombed. At least 24 people have been killed, but 30 are missing and the death toll is expected to rise.

One of the explosions was apparently caused by a truck bomb driven into the lobby of the Taba Hilton hotel.  A second blast probably was caused by a suicide bomber around the pool area.  About two hours after that attack, two truck bombs went off in nearby camping areas, killing at least two people and wounding ten others.

The vicious Islamic barbarians that loaded those trucks and killed all of those innocent people are probably dead.  But the terror network that sent them is alive and well, and is no doubt planning another such attack in the United States.  Al-Qaeda has said its stated mission is to kill at least 4 million people.  They very well could try to strike right before the election.  What would the response of the American people be?  To retreat and elect The Poodle, or to continue to support the president?

After all, it is George W. Bush who is the first U.S. president in history to actually hunt down and kill these Islamic terrorists before they can attack here.  No one else had done that before.  Right now Al-Qaeda is in Iraq....aren't they enough of a weapon of mass destruction?

We are engaged in World War IV, the struggle against the Islamic jihadists...and only one man has demonstrated that he will use the full might of the United States military to win that war.  George W. Bush will hunt down and eliminate the threat before they have time to attack.

John Kerry will not.

MORE AMERICA-BASHING FROM JACQUES

This should come as no surprise....it's more America-bashing from the Axis of Weasels...this time from our old ally Jacques Chirac of France.  Speaking in communist Vietnam (where else,) Mr. Chirac had this to say about the country that has repeatedly saved his bacon throughout history.

He said that France was right to stand up to cultural and linguistic diversity.  And who is he talking about standing up to?  Why of course, the United States!  Chirac warned that the world's different values would be "choked" by American ones.  He said that would lead to a "general world subculture" based around the English language.  He says that would be a "real ecological catastrophe."

And what example does he use?  Hollywood...he says that Hollywood's domination of the world's movie business was a bad thing, and only governments (typical socialist) could preserve the cultural heritage of nations.  Typical BS from the Euro-weenies....they can't compete on the world stage in a particular industry, so they whine about how it's not fair they're losing.

By the way, anybody seen any good French movies lately?  I didn't think so.

AMERICAN SCHOOLS TARGETED

More news in the War on Terror...this time regarding some information found in Iraq.  A computer disc was found containing information about schools in California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey and Oregon.  What was the information about?  Information like photos, floor plans, as well as an Education Department report on how to prepare and respond to a crisis.  And why would this information be there?

Because terrorists put it there.  Terrorists in Iraq that are preparing to strike the United States.  And why would they strike a school?  Just like they did in Beslan, Russia, where Islamic terrorists shot innocent children, the terrorists know that killing people's kids would get the biggest reaction.  They have absolutely no respect for innocent non-Muslim human life, and they will do everything possible to kill as many Americans (young and old) as possible.

Somebody should ask The Poodle...if Iraq is not a terrorist threat, then why was this material found in Iraq?  Because it is a terrorist threat, that's why.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

Despite their poll showing The Poodle slightly ahead, the AP mistakenly moved an article saying that George Bush was easily re-elected.  We can only hope.

Happy 8th birthday to the Fox News Channel....cable news has never been the same, and the left can't stand it.

If Saddam didn't have any weapons of mass destruction, John Gibson says that's good, because that means we got there just in time.  Interesting take.

The sKerry campaign has released an ad featuring Michael J. Fox blast the president over funding for stem cell research.  The problem is, the ad features distortions and false promises.

The United States is already being lectured by countries such as Ethiopia and Tajikistan about our election practices.  As expected, Jimmy Carter and the Democrats are joining in on the America-bashing.

The current electoral vote calculator shows Bush with 264, and The Poodle with 253.  270 are needed to win, and Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania are where the race will be decided.

Angry Kerry supporters went after the Bush/Cheney headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota in an attempt to intimidate voters.  No surprise here...just standard operating procedure for the left.

French, Russian and U.N. officials are dismissing the reports that they were paid off by Saddam Hussein.  Of course...the guilty always lie when they're caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

So whose side are the terrorists on in the presidential election?  Charles Krauthammer says they're on the same side with the New York Times and the rest of the media.

Does the latest report on weapons of mass destruction hurt President Bush?  Not at all says David Limbaugh, who wonders just how many times we're going to have to hear this.

Liberals and the media act like President Bush had only one rationale for going to war in Iraq - the WMD - but Jonah Goldberg says there were actually many more.

Teen gives ex-girlfriend wedgie and gets charged with sexual assault.
