MADE UP YOUR MIND YET?

I wonder how many Americans were paying attention last week when new revelations were made about Islamic terrorist plans for America.   Did you hear about those computer discs that were discovered with floor plans for some of America's schools?  Now what, pray tell, would a cold-blooded Islamic murderer want with architectural plans for an American school?

Ever heard of Beslan? That's the town in Russia where Islamic terrorists most-probably associated with al Qaeda murdered over 200 Russian school children.  They obtained plans for the school, entered the school, secured the escape routes, rigged the school with explosives, and held hundreds of children and their parents hostage for days.  The, when the children tried to escape after explosives were detonated, the brave Islamic warriors started shooting little school children in the back.  Now we learn that other Islamic terrorists have been collecting plans for American government schools.

Do you want to talk about terror?  What type of terror do you think would sweep America if suicidal Islamic murderers invaded just one American school and killed 200 school children as they did in Beslan?  The murders of the American school children would be preceded by a few days of a hostage standoff.  The area around the school would be a sea of satellite trucks as television brought the hostage crisis to virtually every American living room.  Petrified parents across the country would keep their children at home.  Homeland security forces would negotiate while planning a raid to free the children. The Islamic terrorists would play the negotiating game while soaking up the worldwide publicity from the intense 24/7 television coverage.  Then, as deadlines approached, the Islamic murderers would fulfill their suicidal designs.  They would hit America in its softest spot ... it's children. Hundreds of American school children would die.  Cameras from Arab television would bring to America scenes of militant Islamists celebrating and dancing in the streets of Egypt, Syria, Iran and the so-called Palestinian territories.

How long do you think it would take for Americans to begin sending their children back to government schools?  Billions of dollars would be appropriated by the congress to create the ESA, the Education Security Agency.  Our schools would become armed fortresses.  The school day would be lengthened to allow time for the intense security screenings that would be required of every teacher, administrator, student, cafeteria worker and janitor.  Life in America would undergo a change that would make long airport security lines almost pleasant by comparison.

This is the nature of the enemy we face.  They shoot school children in the back. They had plans for American schools.  Correction:  They HAVE plans for American schools.  Weapons of mass destruction?  You don't think that was mass destruction you saw in Beslan last month?  How can you draw comfort from the fact that Saddam Hussein, with his proven ties to al Qaeda, had temporarily halted his chemical, biological and nuclear weapons programs until he could manipulate the United Nations into removing sanctions?  How can this make you feel one bit safer after witnessing the sight of hundreds of small black body bags guarded by the sobbing mothers and fathers of Beslan?

Three weeks from tomorrow you have a chance to send these Islamic murderers a message.  You can tell them that Americans are resolute in their determination to find those who would kill us ... and who would kill our children .. and destroy them before they get the opportunity to carry out their deadly plans.  Three weeks from tomorrow you can show them that there will be no global test.  There will be no hasty withdrawal.  There will be no appeasement.  Our determination to protect our citizens and our children will not be dependent on the participation of France or Germany, or on the approval of a United Nations infested with corruption and the poison of anti-Americanism.  You can send the message that the wishes of a majority of Europeans for a weakened America will not be realized.

Three weeks from tomorrow ... when you head to the polls ... think about those building plans for American schools on terrorist laptops.  If, with those thoughts in mind, you can still bring yourself to vote for appeasement, for a weakened America, and for a pullback from the front on the war on terror --- if you can still bring yourself to vote for John Kerry, then you are a completely different type of American than I.

A NUISANCE?

The election is still 22 days away, but John Kerry may have just put another nail in his own coffin.  The Poodle gave an interview to the New York Times Magazine, and in it he was asked "what it would take for Americans to feel safe again."  sKerry's astonishing reply? ''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance."

A nuisance?  Get back to where we were?  This is a stunning admission.  Just when was terrorism merely a nuisance to Americans?  Before 9/11?  Evidently that's Kerry's perception.  Kerry has publicly stated that he wants to return to the pre-911 Clinton policies whereby Islamic terrorism was treated like a law enforcement problem.  He wants to go back to the time where America was repeatedly attacked over a 20-year period, yet we did virtually nothing to retaliate.  After all, we treated the terrorists like they were a nuisance.

Will Kerry tell the families of the American sailors killed on the USS Cole that the Islamic murderers who killed them were just a mere nuisance?  How about the families of the Marines killed in the Khobar towers in 1996?  Kerry was in the Senate on that terrible day ... and we heard no call for firm action from him.

How about the Israeli families who lost children when Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli schools?  What a nuisance that was!  Do you know how long it takes to clean up all that blood and stuff?

Well, as we found out on September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorists are not a nuisance.  They are a threat to freedom and an evil menace that has to be crushed.  But it's Bush who wants to destroy them, not Kerry.  Once the Islamic terrorists have been reduced to a mere nuisance level, Kerry will be able to turn his attention to other matters, like raising taxes on the evil rich (apparently another nuisance) and expanding the reach of the Imperial Federal Government with trillions more in federal spending.

Wait!  There's more!  Listen to what else Kerry had to say:

"As a former law enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling. But we're going to reduce it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the rise. It isn't threatening people's lives every day, and fundamentally, it's something that you continue to fight, but it's not threatening the fabric of your life.''

Oh really?  We're going to compare  Islamic jihadists flying airplanes into buildings and slaughtering 3,000 innocent people with prostitutes or someone taking a bet on a football game?    Unbelievable.  He is comparing terrorism to a victimless crime that society tolerates.  In other words, he's saying that we should just learn to live with the terrorism, as long as there's just not too much of it.  Maybe we ought to establish terror districts in major cities.  If we can just limit the killings to certain neighborhoods everything will be hunky dory.

The Bush camp is jumping on this big-time, and they should.  The ads will start rolling soon on this one.  The United States is engaged in a struggle against terrorism and the Democratic nominee for president of the United States is calling it a nuisance.

Like the TV ads are going to say...how can Kerry fight the war on terror when he doesn't even understand the threat?

YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST

As predicted, the latest Nobel Peace Prize winner is completely clueless. Kenyan ecologist Wangari Maathai believes that the AIDS virus was deliberately created.  She had this to say:  "Some say that AIDS came from the monkeys, and I doubt that because we have been living with monkeys (since) time immemorial, others say it was a curse from God, but I say it cannot be that. "Us black people are dying more than any other people in this planet."

She went on to say that AIDS was created by a scientist for biological warfare.  Of course, she had no facts to back any of this up.  Maybe somebody should have asked her why someone would create an agent for biological warfare that takes years to kill.  Of course, what she really wanted to do was repeat the urban legend that the CIA created AIDS to wipe out the African population.

You know, they could give out these Nobel Peace Prizes inside of cereal boxes and they would easily reach more intelligent and deserving people than this lady.

BUSH-BASHING IN THE CLASSROOM

A teacher in Beaumont, Texas decided to show 'Fahrenheit 9/11' to a high school English class.  What could the only purpose be?  To indoctrinate the students (some of them of voting age) and get them to vote for John Kerry on November 2nd.

One parent was outraged.  The fact that it was just one shows you that parents don't care enough when they drop their kids off at the nanny state reeducation camp known as government schools.  If this film was shown to only one class, and just a single parent is the only one questioning it, that tells you something.

Anyway, imagine what would have happened if a conservative film had been shown.  What if...instead of Fahrenheit 9/11 they showed Fahrenhype 9/11?  The teacher would be fired, every national news media outlet would interview all the parents to find the ones that were supposedly outraged. But not in this case.  The reaction is nowhere near the same.

Government school teachers indoctrinating children with leftist propaganda is nothing new.  I guess if it happens all the time, it's not news, right?

A LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To All American Voters,

I am a senior citizen.  During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely good and well paying job. I took numerous vacations and had several vacation homes. Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for the worse.

     I lost my job.
I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War.
     I lost my homes.
     I lost my health insurance.

As a matter of fact I lost virtually everything and became homeless. Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me.  I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year.  Bush has to go.

I just thought you would like to know how one senior citizen views the Bush Administration.

Thank you for taking time to read my letter.

     Sincerely,
     Saddam Hussein

READING ASSIGNMENTS

We've been talking about this for a few days on the Boortz show.  Unions are doing what unions have always done so well ... sending union goons out to show a little muscle.  This time they're targeting Bush-Cheney campaign headquarters.

If you're planning to cast a vote for appeasement ... a vote for John Kerry, don't read this.  It's a roundup of the past two weeks of good news from Iraq.  There's no sense troubling your weak little minds with facts.

After the president's performance in Friday night's debate, Dick Morris says Bush is back.  He did what he had to do to bounce back from his poor performance in the first debate.

President Bush's aides are laughing off the suggestion all over the Internet that he was wired during the first debate.  If he was, it didn't work.

<p>Factcheck.orgkeeps track of distortions at the 2nd Presidential Debate.

What do we now know about voters in Afghanistan and Australia?  They have more courage than voters in Spain.

Moammar Gadhafi is giving a human rights award to Venezuela's Hugo Chavez.  I think that it's a pretty safe bet that Jimmy Carter will attend the ceremony.

Bush is back up to a five-point lead in the latest Washington Post tracking poll.  The Poodle's latest comments should thankfully widen the gap.

Poor Sean Penn...he's upset because he's not portrayed favorably in the upcoming  movie 'Team America.'  A bit thin-skinned, don't you think? (Warning..contains dirty language.)

There's good news to report in Iraq,
which is precisely why you won't hear it reported anywhere....well, except maybe here and a few other places.

The Poodle's campaign is upset because a broadcasting company has decided to air an anti-Kerry documentary on their television stations.  They are their TV stations to do with as they please.

If the Poodle thinks  more foreign countries are going to help out in Iraq, he can forget it.  Jack Kelly says the Democratic nominee is living in a fantasy land.

Dick Cheney was the adult in the vice presidential debate, and John Edwards looked like an amateur.  Mark Steyn says The Trial Lawyer has some growing up to do.

Has CBS changed their ways since the forged documents scandal?  Not one bit, says Michael Goodwin.  CBS News still doesn't get it.

The mainstream media had no problem declaring The Poodle the victor in Friday night's debate...after all, he's their guy.  The Media Research Center reports.

It may not really matter who won last Tuesday night's vice presidential debate, says Paul Greenberg.  After all, people vote for President, not the #2 slot.

The Democrats still don't understand why the American people still aren't breaking for The Poodle....but Laura Ingraham has some key reasons why.
