You've already heard about those election manuals that the Democrats are passing out. Last week we learned that Democrats are urging party officials in the states to complain about voter intimidation even when there is no evidence that voter intimidation exists. Democrats are instructed to go find some local civil rights leaders to make statements for press releases about voter intimidation that the local newspapers will eagerly print. Well .. there's an additional Democratic tactic in Florida. The Drudge Report has obtained a copy of the Kerry/Edwards election manual for Florida. Campaign workers are encouraged to canvass local Democratic strongholds and pick up completed ballots. The ballots will then supposedly be delivered to Florida's Early Vote locations. What does Florida law have to say about campaign workers picking up ballots? You can read it right here. The pertinent paragraph reads:
The Democrats, of course, are ready with an excuse. They say the law only applies to blank ballots to be delivered to voters, not completed ballots picked up from voters. Yeah, that makes sense. After all, there's no way a Democratic campaign worker could go through completed ballots and "lose" votes for the opponent, is there? Now stop and ask yourself something. What if the Republican party had proposed doing this in their election manual? It would be the top story in the mainstream media. But when the Democrats do it, we hardly hear a word. It's all about the media following their Bush-bashing template. The real truth here is that Democrats have a far richer history of voter fraud and election day shenanigans than do the Republicans. Ever heard of Chicago? Several years ago there was blatant proof that illegal Hispanic votes in California swung the election to the Democrats in a House race. When the Republicans started an investigation the Democrats started screaming racism. The investigation quickly stopped. Now the Democrats are up to their old tricks again ... and you can bet that the "R" word, among others, will surface as soon as the Republicans start to investigate Democrat tricks during this election. This is quite a trick. Stand at the microphones screaming about voter intimidation while you're making plans behind the scenes to violate elections laws.
Denise Majette is currently a Democratic Congresswoman from Georgia. She was highly celebrated a few years ago when a large number of Republican voters put her into office for the sole purpose of getting rid of Cynthia McKinney. It all went to Majette's head, and after one term in Congress she has decided that she is Senatorial material. Majette is running against Republican Johnny Isakson for the Senate seat being vacated by Zell Miller. Johnny Isakson is a supporter of the Fair Tax. This, as you should know by now, is a proposal to replace the federal income tax, Social Security taxes, Medicare taxes, estate taxes, gift taxes, death taxes ... virtually all taxes with one national retail sales tax. Under the Fair Tax proposal every single American would get a monthly rebate from the federal government for the amount of sales tax they would be expected to spend that month on the basic necessities of life. This means that people living at or near the poverty level would be paying no federal taxes of any kind. No income tax. No Social Security Tax. No Medicare tax. No sales tax. Nothing. They would be getting 100 percent of their paycheck in addition to a monthly check from the government. So ... here comes Denise Majette with her television ads slamming Isakson for his support of the Fair Tax. In those ads Majette says that Isakson favors a national sales tax ... but fails to mention that this is instead of all other federal taxes that individual Americans pay. Denise Majette is being intentionally dishonest with the voters of Georgia. She's lying, and she knows she's lying. Denise Majette forgot to dance with who brung her. Soon the music will stop playing.
Do remember this. In 1981 Galveston County in Texas decided to remove county employees from the Social Security system. They replaced it with a county plan where every employee owned his own account. The tax structure was virtually the same as with Social Security. A percentage was taken from the employee's paycheck to fund the private plan, and the county matched that amount with a corresponding "contribution." (The idea of a matching contribution is a fraud ... but we'll save that for another time). Like Social Security, the Galveston plan offered a retirement, death and disability benefit. Today when a county worker retires in Galveston County his retirement income exceeds what he was making when he was retired! After privatization of the Galveston retirement plan people see their income go UP, not down when they retire. So ... why haven't more local governments done what Galveston County
did? Because congress passed a law prohibiting it just two years
later. Politicians need Social Security. John Kerry was illustrating
that need in Florida over the weekend. He was telling wizened citizens
that George Bush was going to take their Social Security away. He knows
it's not true, but he also knows that these oldsters don't realize that ... so
frighten them to get their votes.
Americans need to realize that Kofi Annan is not our friend. His goal is a stronger United Nations; a United Nations that dominates in world affairs. A strong United States stands in his way. A weaker United States serves his goals just fine. Now you know what Kofi Annan and John Kerry have in common.
I've read some extraordinary columns and essays over the past few days. Some have been previously highlighted in my regular "Reading Assignments," some have not. These columns generally cover the issues and the candidates in the presidential election. There are 15 days left before the most important presidential election of the past 50 years. Read these columns, print them out, give them to friends to read. Challenge your neighbor with that "Kerry-Edwards" bumper sticker or yard sign to read them (they won't) and see if you can find some of those unexplainable "undecided" voters to give them to. Who knows ... you may strike a chord somewhere. Unfit for Command --- A New Chapter You've heard of the book "Unfit for Command", haven't you? John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi, the authors of "Unfit for Command" have written an epilogue. This new last chapter shows how John Kerry had to change the story about his three months in Vietnam after the book came out. Oh, you didn't know that Kerry changed his story? No surprise, considering the mainstream media hasn't exactly covered it. The media will dutifully report every time Kerry hits the tube to tell everyone that the book is full of "proven lies." The media is silent, though, when Kerry changes his story. You need to read this in case you run into a mindless Democrat who uses that "proven lies" line on you. Click here to get the epilogue free from Human Events. Vote for Kerry. Arise and Walk! Remember that comment John Edwards made about people getting out of their wheelchairs and walking again if Kerry is elected president? Charles Krauthammer is in a wheelchair. He is crippled as a result of an accident. He is a physician and a columnist. You need to read what Krauthammer has to say about Edward's statement. Here are the last two paragraph's of Krauthammer's column:
There is literally no chance in hell that any Kerry/ Edwards supporter will want to read the rest of that Krauthammer column. Those of you with clearer minds, however, may wish to do so. Here's your link. AND A VERY FEW REGULAR READING ASSIGNMENTS Mary Frances Berry and the "bipartisan" U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is joining the electoral campaign ... fighting for John Kerry. Provisional ballots. Electoral time bombs. Would you like to see any form of legal reform? Are you planning to vote for John Kerry? Maybe you ought to read this first. Diana West shudders at the thought of a Kerry victory. She isn't the only one. There's a study out there which says that this election might be as much about freedom as anything else. If that is true, and I rather doubt it, then Kerry wouldn't have a chance. If there is one thing Kerry is not, it's the candidate for freedom. Whatever you do, don't carry an American Flag for your senior class photo. You wouldn't want to offend anyone, would you? Here's a list of ten things you should never buy new. And here's a list of ten things you should never buy used. I would have put coffee filters and condoms on the list. Serial killer could soon be a free man. Peoria woman claims to have found bug in her apple pie. | ||
