THIS IS WHY THEY HATE FOX NEWS CHANNEL.

Brit Hume had a bit on his "Special Report" last night about a new television ad from Moveon.org, the 527 group financed by that shadowy Hungarian-born international financier who, by the way, hates George Bush.  The television ad shows a picture of an AK47 automatic rifle.  The ad says "This ... can fire up to 300 rounds a minute. ... In the hands of a terrorist it could kill hundreds ... But on September 13th George Bush will [have] let the assault weapons ban expire."   Hume then points out that this particular gun has been banned in the U.S. since the Firearms Act was passed in 1934.  They are banned today.  You can't own one without a special and very hard-to-get permit from the feds.  So, Moveon.org lied.  But that's not the news here.  We already know that Moveon.org lies in their PAC ads.  The news here is that you heard about this from Fox News Channel.  You can bet your right to Social Security payments (might as well bet something of no real value) that you would never see The New York Times, the Boston Globe, CBS, NBC, ABC or CNN ever report this particular story.  Fox News did, and that's why liberals hate Fox News so much.  Just reporting that Moveon.org has an adverse relationship with the truth is proof of bias.

MAN, DON'T YOU JUST HATE THIS ECONOMY?

The Federal Reserve Bank reported yesterday that U.S. household wealth reached a new record.  Sadly, most of the people in this country received the totality of their economic education in government schools.  They couldn't explain the difference between gross and net, they think that the government distributes wealth, and they believe that tax cuts are a "give-away."  Because of this these poorly educated Americans will have no understanding what this new record in household wealth means.  It means that you're richer, you fools!  And guess what?  John Kerry didn't do this for you!

Wait!  There's more!

While The Poodle continues to bark about the sagging economy, the net loss of jobs and accuse President Bush of the excuse presidency, the economy in the United States continues to boom.  First up, let's look at the unemployment rate, currently at a very low 5.4%.  That's lower than the average rate of the 1970's, 1980's and 1990's.  That's also lower than it was when Bill Clinton was re-elected over Bob Dole in 1996.  Funny...the media never found unemployment high then, yet they're talking about 5.4% not being very low.  Media bias at its finest.

Another telling statistic is New York's unemployment.  It is now back at it's pre-9/11 levels, at 6.7%.  That's down from July's 7.5% and 8.4% last year.  In the state hardest hit by the terrorist attacks, the economy is booming.  Home ownership is at record levels too, by the way.  What else is it going to take for the media and the Democrats to admit the economy is booming?  The answer is that they'll never admit the economy is improving.  It just ain't in them.

Let's review:

  • Unemployment is lower than the average of the last 30 years
  • Unemployment in New York is back to pre-9/11 levels
  • Home ownership is at record levels
  • U.S. household wealth is at record levels

So what's the problem?  Only a dishonest partisan hack determined to defeat the president for re-election could argue that the economy is anything less than robust.

DISASTER RULES

Looting was reported yesterday after Hurricane Ivan had it's way with the Florida gulf coast.  Looters are scum.  Looters deserve to die ... slowly.  I submit to you the following proposal:

In most states a property owner is limited as to the circumstances under which he can use deadly force to protect his property.  I believe that these rules place too high a barrier to the use of deadly force.  Let's say you earn $500 a day.  You catch someone running from your home with a $500 watch.  Can you use deadly force to stop him? Why not?  He's taking one day of your working life away from you!

So ... here's my proposal.  Whenever the governor of a state declares that state to be a disaster area due to some form of natural disaster the laws pertaining to defense of property should change.  If a disaster has been declared the homeowner or property owner should be allowed to use whatever force is necessary, including deadly force, to protect his property regardless of whether or not the person stealing his property presents a threat to his personal health or safety.  This specifically applies to looters.  Shoot the bastards ... let the hurricane wash them out to sea.  OK ... cut off their hands.  But NO government disability benefits!

NEW BUSH-BASHING TV AD OUT

Moveon.org, a Democratic 527 group funded by a shadowy Hungarian-born international financier,  is running a new television commercial featuring a supposedly defeated, surrendering soldier...and it's a disgrace.  But what would you expect from the left these days....considering that the Democratic party has now been taken over by radical nutcases like Michael Moore.  Anyway, it's a short ad, and since you'll probably catch it on TV (those Moreon.org  types have a lot of cash)  let's take a few minutes to completely debunk its contents.

The ad begins by showing a "soldier" making his way to the surrender position, eventually with a gun over his head.  The announcer says: "George Bush misled us into war with Iraq, sending poorly equipped soldiers into battle. He said 'Mission Accomplished,' yet almost every day more soldiers die."  Stop right there.  First of all, George Bush did not mislead anybody into anything.  A number of government reports, including the Butler report in Great Britain, have completely exonerated George Bush.  He relied on the same intelligence Congress and everybody else did.  By the way, you do know that weapons of mass destruction have been found, don't you?

Next, the ad advances the lie that the president sent poorly equipped soldiers into battle.  The truth is actually much different.  Those of you who don't have too much aluminum in your deodorant will remember that it was no less than war-hero John Kerry himself that voted against the $87 billion appropriation to fund the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The troops have always had what they needed, thanks to George Bush.  If you really want to talk about sending soldiers into combat without proper equipment or support, talk about those soldiers sent into Mogadishu while Clinton was president .. and who was it that denied them tanks?

Then the whole 'Mission Accomplished' thing?   The mission was to get rid of Saddam Hussein.  Mission Accomplished.  But ... the President never said "mission accomplished."  I'm sure that disappoints the bedwetters, but he never said it.  What they're referring to was a banner hung up by the Navy, not the president or his staff.  Then it says "yet almost every day more soldiers die."  Sorry, another lie.  Days have gone by without any loss of life in Iraq.

The lies continue..."Going it alone, George Bush has spent $150 billion dollars, money we need for schools and health care."  Well, first of all we didn't go it alone.  There are numerous countries that joined the Coalition in liberating Iraq.  Also, George Bush did not spend $150 billion dollars...only the Congress can authorize spending that amount of money, which they've done.  As for needing the money for schools and health care, we already spend trillions of dollars on both of those, neither of which is called for in the U.S. Constitution, which dictates that the federal government provide for a national defense.  Democrats seem to believe that every penny of wealth generated in America should be spent on education and health care .... or, in other words ... spent on government union employees and making people more dependent on government.

And finally, this worthless piece of garbage concludes with this line: "Now, facing a growing insurgency, he has no real plan to end the war. George Bush got us into this quagmire. It will take a new president to get us out."   What about all of these Iraqi security forces that are in the field and being trained?  In the face of all the insurgent violence, Iraqis are still lining up to join.  And aren't there elections planned for January?  The plan is tough .. but the plan is in place.

The Bush campaign immediately condemned the ad, demanding it be removed, and Bob Dole is also speaking out on the subject, calling on John Kerry to demand the ad be removed.  Said Dole "I cannot believe that John Kerry, who reminds us daily of his Vietnam service, would possibly approve the disgusting and demoralizing portrayal of American soldiers fighting for us in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world."  Let's all wait and see what The Poodle does...I wouldn't hold my breath.

This despicable piece of trash dishonors the memory of the fallen soldiers it purports to be outraged about, but we shouldn't be surprised it is airing.  This is the face of the modern Democratic party.  Consider the source too, this is the organization that posted an ad on their web site portraying President Bush as Adolf Hitler.

THE POODLE CAUGHT IN ANOTHER LIE

With all the talk about George Bush's National Guard records, one of the things that has been ignored is the fact that John Kerry has not released all of his military records.  He has released some of the records on his campaign web site, but not all.  Some of the withheld documents are no doubt embarrassing to The Souffle, which would explain why they are not being released.

In an interview on MSNBC Wednesday, The Poodle said "We've posted my military records that they sent to me, or were posted on my website. You can go to my website, and all my -- you know, the documents are there."  The only problem is they're not all there.  The United States Navy is now contradicting Kerry...they say all of his available military records have not been released.  The Navy says they are withholding 31 pages of documents because they have not been provided a written authorization to release them.  Hmm...I wonder what's in those documents?

It's all a pretty clever play on words.  "We've posted my military records that they sent to me."  And what did they send to him?  The military records that Kerry requested.  So ... the more accurate statement would be "We've posted all my military records that I asked for."

All Kerry would have to do is fill out and sign what is called a Standard Form 180, which would authorize a complete release of all his military records.  So where is the media on all of this?  They're the ones that are completely AWOL...grilling George Bush almost daily about his military records while at the same time saying nothing about Kerry's obvious omission of his.

Typical of The Poodle...insisting that all of his records have been released while knowing at the same time that he is personally withholding some of them.  Sounds like he would make a great Commander-In-Chief

READING ASSIGNMENTS

Will the source for Dan Rather's fake documents turn out to be a partisan Democrat?  Bernard Goldberg says that should just about finish off CBS News. Will there be any kind of a going away party?

OK ... I'm not sure what's in this book that is supposed to be so damaging to John Kerry, but you can click here to read The New Soldier, that book written by The Souffle before he was worried about getting votes.

What have I been telling you about book store employees?  Evidently Borders Book Store employees are unionized. Seems they've been bragging about hiding copies of "Unfit for Command."

Did you see that AP photo of the little 3-year-old girl crying after some Democrat thugs took her Bush-Cheney sign and ripped it up?   Nice guys, those Kerry supporters.  Someday she'll realize how lucky she was that they weren't Muslim terrorists .. then it would have been a bullet in the back. Update: Could this guy be a professional disrupter? You decide .

Dan Rather is admitting that the documents are questionable, but the information is correct.  That's like saying a forged Mona Lisa might not be authentic, but it's the thought that counts.  It just gets deeper and deeper for Dan.

The Republican National Committee thinks the DNC gave CBS the forged Bush memos ...wouldn't that be something?

The latest Gallup Poll shows George Bush leading The Poodle by 13 points....can you say blow out?  Look for more desperation from the left and as much Bush- bashing news coverage as possible. They're not going down without a fight.  Look for the "Democrats Gone Wild" video soon!

A new 527 organization called Football Fans For Truth is taking on The Poodle's inept statements when it comes to football.  Priceless.

A new online game gives web surfers the opportunity to play John Kerry
in Vietnam and lead his Swift Boat up the Mekong Delta.  Hey..it's Friday...why not?

Colin Powell says he is going to talk to Kofi about his comments that the war in Iraq was illegal.  Uh-oh.  Just remember, my friends; the United Nations is and always has been an essentially anti-American institution.

The Poodle likes to say that because of the liberation of Iraq, it is now filled with terrorists.  Well...newsflash....there were plenty of terrorists there before the war.  Stephen Hayes shoots that down.

Dan Rather's crisis continues with Day 8 of Memogate.  It's really starting to get pretty pathetic.  The Media Research reports.

The deep denial of Dan Rather and CBS News shows how they're look at the situation, and reality is sorely lacking.  Jonah Goldberg explains.

The old media has a very high level of interest in George Bush's past, yet when it comes to John Kerry's...they seem to lack interest.  Golly!  I wonder why that could be?   Do you think David Limbaugh might have the answer?.

The Poodle was for the war when it was politically popular, and now he is against it when he thinks it will serve him better.  Mona Charen says Mr. Expedience has some explaining to do.

After being caught red-handed, Dan Rather is now demanding that President Bush answer the questions raised by forged documents.  Thomas Sowell says if the president spent his time answering all charges made in the media, he wouldn't have much time for anything else.
