Well, they've done it again. Today we get word that Italy's Red Cross treated four insurgents (or Islamic terrorists, as the more correct term applies) and hid them from the United States in exchange for the freedom of two kidnapped aid workers. The insurgents were even smuggled through U.S. checkpoints by the Italians. Such hospitality for the enemy! The worst part? Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi signed off on the entire deal. Some ally, huh? This is the difference between the way the United States, Britain and Australia handle terrorism and the way the Euro-weenies and the rest of the world does it. Islamic terrorists are lowlife scum that must be killed as fast as possible. To negotiate with them, to give them any legitimacy or any upper hand just makes the job 100 times more difficult. This is why terrorism has become so widespread....because it is tolerated. It really makes you wonder just who are friends are these days. Now we're gonna have ourselves a real protest! Word is that preeminent race
warlord and media pimp the
Reverend Al Sharpton is headed to Crawford, Texas to
hold hands with Cindy Sheehan and sing 'We Shall Overcome.' According to "Sharpton's
office" (whatever that is,) the Rev. will be holding a prayer vigil Sunday with
Cindy Sheehan. Expect the media to cover it as their top story. But could that
possibly be all there is to Al's visit?Perhaps Sharpton is slipping these days and needs a few pointers. You gotta work the race angle here, Al. Here's a few things for you to work on during your visit to Cindy Sheehan in Crawford: 1.) How many black soldiers have died in Iraq? Find out, Al...you could use this one for fundraising. After all, you don't really have a job....gotta bring in the bucks somehow. 2.) What proportion of black soldiers to white have fought in the war? There's obviously racism at work here. Better find out. The more racism, the bigger the crowds. You should know that by now, Al. If you play your cards right, Jesse Jackson just might show up. Again, more cameras means more bucks. Oh, and never mind that people sign up for the military voluntarily. Since they're poor (due to Republicans stealing all of their money and opportunity,) they had to do it. More racism. One thing, though Al...it's a bit hot down in Crawford. Stay in the shade. Thank you. I can not believe how fast 3 months goes by. It was a very warm welcome I received when I joined the Boortz team, for this brief opportunity. I have been allowed to explore many different parts of radio and made some truly great friends in the process. I will never take a moment of this experience for granted, nor will I forget. This will be my last day with the Neal Boortz Show. Thank you to all of you who have written in to compliment me; I have tried to respond to each of you. Thank you to those who have written in after proof reading 'Heather's Corner,' it means a lot that you would spend so much time focusing on my articles. Even the negative emails have amused me. I have never received so many emails from people I did not know (and it wasn't even spam!) This has been a completely new experience; one that I will cherish and take with me throughout the rest of my radio career. I head back to Orlando's News/Talk AM 580 WDBO next week. I certainly have a head start on being prepared for the production and promotions positions that I have accepted. . Thank you for all the well wishes I have received in the past few weeks. These have meant a lot to me. But mostly, thanks to Cox Radio's News/Talk AM 750 WSB and The Neal Boortz Show for an experience that was so much more than I ever expected. I can honestly say that you all made it exciting to come to work everyday. Now I leave half teary-eyed, but excited to return to my home to my WDBOys with the knowledge to make them proud and join their team. God Bless ~ Heather Jackson UCF'05 ... Oh and GO UCF KNIGHTS !
