NEALZ MOVIE TIP Phantom
of the Opera. Go see it. Cancel that doctor's
appointment .. whatever. Just go see Phantom of the Opera.
Just incredible. |
WHAT WE'RE FIGHTING FOR Elections are nearing in Iraq, and the closer we
get the more Muslims kill Muslims. Muslim
so-called insurgents are killing their fellow countrymen .. killing Arabs and
Muslims ... all in an attempt to keep them from voting. Let this sink in a
bit. These people are killing their own neighbors to keep them from
expressing their own desires as to what type of government they wish to have and
who they want to lead that government. And what of the people who are
targeted? What about those who wish to be free? Even while they're targeted by
their fellow Arabs and Muslims, Iraqis are stepping forward eager to serve in
the Iraqi army and police forces, eager to protect their newfound voting
privilege. Meanwhile, in this country ... we have so many
people who are rooting not for the Iraqis who wish to be free, but for those who
attack and kill --- all in hopes that George Bush will be saddled with a
failure. BLUE BRACELETS We have this female in New York City who doesn't
want to be associated with being an American. Those are her words. She's
ashamed of America, and ashamed to be an American. The reason? Because
George Bush is president. You see, she voted for John Kerry, and he
lost. Her name is Berns Rothchild, and she's come up with an idea of blue
bracelets; blue bracelets fashioned after the popular LiveStrong yellow
bracelets you see everywhere. The blue bracelets say "Count me
Blue" and are are supposed to be an indication that you did not vote for
George Bush. Fair enough. No, I'm not upset by
this. I think it's a fantastic idea. I want it to spread. I want every
person out there who voted for John Kerry, every person who donated money to his
campaign, to end up wearing one of these blue bracelets. This can only be good
for America, and here are some of the reasons why: 1. The blue bracelets will easily
identify people who believe that America is great because of its government
instead of freedom. 2. The bracelets will identify people who
believe that any price paid for freedom is too much, and that living
peacefully as a slave is better than fighting to be free. 3. The bracelets will identify people who
believe in the mob, and not in the individual, and who have enlisted
wholeheartedly in the war against individualism. 4. We will be able to identify the people
who believe that America should be a country of equal results rather than a
system that guarantees equal opportunity. 5. People who believe that the government
should own and control our retirement accounts will be identified by that
flash of blue on their wrists. 6. We will be able to recognize those who
believe that accomplishment should be punished while laziness and poor
decision making should be rewarded.
I could go on ... but were running out of
time here. I know my listeners can come up with more on the program today.
FINANCIAL AND SOCIAL EQUALITY? That's the call from Jesse Jackson today.
Again, we'll talk more about this on the show, but The Sloganmaster seems to
think that our society is not just unless everyone enjoys an equal economic
standing. Tell you what, Mr. Race Pimp ... when people pay equal attention
to their education opportunities and work as hard as the next person to achieve
financial success, you may see your dream come true. Until then we'll just
go with the Boortz definition of "justice." Justice is when a
person gets what they deserve. THE MEDIA AND
CHARLES GRANER
Immediately after Army Specialist Charles Graner was sentenced Saturday to a
decade in prison for his shenanigans at Abu Ghraib prison, the media fanned out
across Iraq to find out what the Iraqis think. Their sole purpose and
mission: to further the anti-American bias in the news coverage of Iraq and
completely blow the situation out of proportion.
"Many Iraqis say Graner sentence too lenient," said one Reuters
headline. Even if Graner had been sentenced to death and taken out back
and shot, the headline would still have been the same. Because of their
leftist tilt and anti-Bush hatred, the media will stop at nothing in this
country to portray the situation in Iraq as an out-of-control failure.
You can also see it in the headlines leading up to the elections in 2 weeks.
Headline after headline and story after story tell us that elections don't have
a chance of succeeding....they're all doomed to failure. What if the
Sunnis don't vote? What about the violence? Surely the United States
cannot succeed!
The facts are the facts: the mainstream American media (except for Fox News) has
an overwhelming desire to see our nation defeated in the war on terror.
NEXT STOP ON THE AXIS OF EVIL
The New Yorker magazine reported yesterday that the United States Military has
been scouting locations for bombing in Iran. Apparently on the list
of targets: nuclear, chemical and missile facilities. This supposedly has
been going on since last summer, and the number of sites is somewhere north of
36.
Good news! It's nice to know that we haven't been put to sleep on this by
the appeasement faction of the Democratic party.
In some ways, Iran represents a greater threat than either Afghanistan or Iraq
did. We simply cannot allow the power-hungry, psychotic mullahs of Iran to
possess a nuclear weapon. They either already have such weapons or are
very close to bringing them online. They have also said they intend to
keep and bear nuclear weapons. In addition, they express their hatred of
the United States on a regular basis.
They're also not giving them up. We've tried diplomatic channels. We
should identify the locations of the factories, reactors and stockpiles and bomb
them back to the stone age (where they really already are, except for the
weapons sites.) One nuke in the hands of an Islamic terrorist could
annihilate an entire American city.
Do you really want to take that chance? For some reason, too many of our
fellow countrymen do. Remember, sometimes you have to make a decision on the
basis of what might happen if you fail to act. Those are the truly
difficult decisions to make. This is one of those times.
INDONESIA BACKPEDALS
Remember last week when the peace-loving Muslims that rule Indonesia decreed
that the United States had to be out of their country by a certain date?
They didn't like those evil Americans delivering all of that tsunami relief aid.
We are, after all, the Great Satan. Even if we're helping them.
Well, it would appear that there has been a change of heart. After meeting
with Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, Indonesia has announced that there
is no deadline for foreign troops to leave their soil, that they'll just try and
take over the relief work by the end of March. So why the U-turn?
Because Wolfowitz reminded the Indonesians that there is a ban on arm sales to
their country, and if they want to see about lifting it, they'd better play
nice. So they did. But I thought all Muslim countries hated the
United States and didn't ever want to business with us?
I guess not. READING
ASSIGNMENTS
George Bush says there's
no need to hold anyone accountable for the war in Iraq because the American
people have already
made their choice in the election and thus have endorsed his administration's
policies. Did you hear that? That's the sound of every Bush-hating
leftist's head shooting off their shoulders.
Apparently CBS
has approached Perky Katie Couric
about the opening on the CBS Evening News. Not good enough...apparently
they're also talking to Ted Koppel. That might not be bad.
President Bush's approval
rating has risen to 53%.
The media and the liberals are still scratching their heads. The worse
they think the war in Iraq is going, the higher his approval rating goes
up. Back to the drawing board.
The Democrats' pounding of
Alberto Gonzales over not extending Geneva Convention protections to terrorists
shows just how out of touch they are. Mark
Steyn says you can't extend
civilized protocol to Islamic terrorists.
If you want to know what
George Bush thinks about foreign policy, he has recommended a book to
read. William
Kristol takes a look at that book,
and the challenges facing the president's second term.
Looks like Howard Dean was
paying
off bloggers when he was running for president.
Will the media give this the same coverage they gave the Armstrong Williams
case? Of course not. Democrats always get a pass.
Les Moonves, chairman of
CBS, says '60 Minutes Wednesday' will continue with Dan Rather on the staff,
provided the show's not canceled. Michael
Goodwin says that sounds suspiciously like a kiss off
for Document Dan.
Even an ex-CBS News
president can
no longer watch CBS News because of the bias.
Sounds like there might be a problem....but wait, the independent report says
there's no political bias. Yeah right.
There's a new book out
about free speech on campus, and
Professor Mike Adams says it's the best book of 2004.
He recounts a situation where it would've come in handy and has all the details.
The fight over President
Bush's policies does not extend to just the next four years. Michael
Barone points out that Bush and the Democrats are fighting
over what the United States will look like in 20, 30 or 40 years.
Robert
Novak takes a look at Michael Chertoff,
the man President Bush has nominated to head the Department of Homeland
Security. He might be non-controversial, but he has an interesting
background.
Most liberals don't think
the war on terror is a real war, and they don't take the threat seriously.
John
Leo has discovered that liberals are even so delusional
that they think another terrorist attack won't even do any real damage.
Are Islamic killer-terrorists bringing their penchant for violence to the
neighborhoods of New York and New Jersey? It looks like a Christian family was
slaughtered by Islamic radicals http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/38704.htm
