A PERSONAL NOTE JUST FOR CYNTHIA MCKINNEY

I have a rather outstanding collection of private email addresses.  There are, however, two I don't have.  Osama bin Laden and Cynthia McKinney.  Maybe Cynthia can help me out with both addresses ... but right now the job is to make sure she stays in the Congress.  A House of Representatives without Cynthia would be like a bowl of soup without a fly.  OK ... so I have a few things I would like to say to Cynthia McKinney .. and only to Cynthia.  I know she and her advisors check into the Nuze every day ... so you guys make sure she gets this, OK?  As for the rest of you ... this is for Cynthia only.  Don't read it.  This is just between me and her.

Dear Cynthia:

I see you've sued, or you're threatening to sue the Atlanta Journal-Constitution over a column written by Cynthia Tucker.  Apparently you're upset over Ms. Tucker's description of your encounter with that Capitol Hill Cop.  Dammit, Cynthia!  Would you please shut up about this?  Don't you know that if you had simply identified yourself to that cop and gone on your way you would not be in this runoff election?  You lost a lot of votes with that nonsense -- your screaming racism and all -- and now you think it's a good idea for you to resurrect that whole mess with lawsuits?  Who in the hell is advising you in this runoff anyway?  Mel Gibson?  If you want to win just keep flashing that dazzling smile of yours.  Be sweet.  Hammer Hank Johnson on his bankruptcy and money problems in the past.  Make him the issue, not you and your stupid antics with that cop.  You're picking up a lot of the undecided voters in these last days, and if you can keep your dark side in check (oops!  Hope that doesn't sound racial!) and try to behave for just six more days, who knows?  You might pull this thing off!  Don't you just love the idea of really pissing off that hollow-eyed aging hippie from Haight-Ashbury and those pompous Toms in the black congressional caucus with a win?  You do know they want you to lose, don't you?   Well then shut the hell up about the cop incident, and try to get a few campaign contributions from inside the State, and you just may do it!  Oh ... and if you're planning to bring Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson down here for a rally ... you might want to work on that plan a little bit.  Come on, Cynthia!  Be smart!  Talk radio and the Republican Party needs you right where you are, being the face of the Democrat Party in Washington!

THE BOLTON BATTLE

George Bush's recess appointment of John Bolton to be the U.S. Ambassador to the horrid United Nations expires at the end of the year.  Many Democrats are still determined to see to it that Bolton does not get the appointment permanently.

So .. who is for Bolton, and who is against?  I believe that the battle line is between those who believe that American sovereignty ought to be strengthened, and those who believe that the United States ought to be weakened by a stronger United Nations.  Yes, thought it is hard to accept, there are many in this country - including politicians - who want to see the U.S. weakened in the realm of international affairs.  These are the people who will oppose Bolton.

Remember -- there is also a movement within the U.N. and its supporters to find a way to levy a direct tax on American citizens to finance UN operations.  I think you'll find that those who oppose Bolton are far more likely to be in favor of this UN global taxing authority.

We'll keep an eye on it for you.

MEDIA CAUGHT OVER QANA PHOTOS

Remember those photos that have been running in the media showing a rescue worker holding a dead child following the Israeli air strike  in Qana?  The message of those pictures has been powerful: look at what those evil Israelis did to that poor, innocent child.  Well, now we learn that all may not be what it seems.

Many of those pictures were taken by the photographers for wire services like the Associated Press,  Reuters and the always pro-terrorist Agence France-Presse, also known as AFP.  But an enterprising British blogger decided to dig a bit deeper.  He looked at the time stamp on some of the photos and noticed a discrepancy.  A big one.

Without getting too technical, it was noticed that one of the photos taken at 7:21 by the AP shows a dead girl in an ambulance.  Then, in a picture taken at 10:25am ... 3 hours later .... it shows the same girl being loaded into an ambulance.  Yet another picture shows the same girl 20 minutes later, being carried by a rescue worker ... with no ambulance around.

In the ambulance ... out of the ambulance ... no ambulance at all.  What does this tell us?  The photos were staged.  They're propaganda. Who would do such a thing?  Hezbollah, of course.  And why would the media be a willing accomplice in such a bold attempt to invent negative media coverage against Israel?  Because they hate the United States and/or Israel, or because they're just plain on the side of the Islamofascists.

Now that the wire services and their photographers have been called out on it, they're all dancing on the head of a pin trying to explain away the discrepancy.  They've been nailed as willing participants in the Islamic terror propaganda efforts.

THE FUTURE OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

CBS News ran an interesting story the other day about illegal immigration.  Actually, the story began as one about the rising Latino population in the United States.  About how there will be 60 million Latinos in the U.S. by 2040 and so forth.  It is true that the Hispanic population is increasing, and our political landscape is changing in the process. The United States really is the melting pot of the world and in 30 years it won't look at all like it looks today.

The CBS story quickly turned to the question of illegal immigration.  They profiled an illegal alien named Alex Vega who was publicly marching against any sort of crackdown on illegal immigration.  Vega said: "In 20 years then we gonna run the country. Right now we running the cities. So little by little, we are running the show. Little by little...so the sleeping giant, it's already awakened."  Nice words, Alex?  Or should we call it a threat? But it begs the question...is he right?

If George W. Bush gets his way and institutes an amnesty program for illegals and nothing is done about the border, what will the United States look like by 2040?  Will there be a thriving Hispanic population of mostly legal immigrants contributing to society in a meaningful way, or will it be millions upon millions of illegal aliens invading our country and occupying it, like we have now?

This is a question that needs to be asked and is one politicians don't want to answer: if we truly are a nation of laws...when are those laws going to be enforced? How bad will the problem of illegal immigration have to get before somebody does something?

HADITHA MARINES NOT LAYING DOWN

A Marine sergeant who was involved in the Haditha operation has decided to sue Congressman John Murtha for libel. If you remember, it was Murtha who was running around saying that the Marines murdered innocent people in cold blood...and that charges would be forthcoming.

The Navy has concluded their investigation....and prosecutors will now determine whether or not the evidence merits any such charges. But one thing is for sure: the Marines involved are not taking this laying down. After all, this is America...where you are innocent until proven guilty.  But when it comes to the mainstream media and the leftists in the Democratic Party, our soldiers are guilty and the legal process is nothing but a formality.  Murtha is the worst offender, hence the lawsuit.

Attorneys for Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Frank D. Wuterich filed the lawsuit claiming libel against Murtha for telling the world that the Marines murdered innocent civilians, then covered it up. Perhaps John Murtha will finally be held responsible for his actions.  I suspect, however, that Murtha will go running to hide behind some form of political immunity.

What would Murtha say if the Marines are exonerated? Probably nothing. And will the media be there to hold him responsible...and press him for an explanation? Of course not. But it's nice to see the Marines aren't just taking this laying down.

This would absolutely figure into a redneck's dream bathroom. More in the Redneck Scrap Book.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

A new poll shows that Cynthia McKinney's challenger leads her by a full 15 percentage points.   Folks, that's what you call a blowout in the making.  In the meantime, McKinney is suing the Atlanta Journal Constitution for libel, claiming she did not hit a Capitol Hill police officer with her cell phone, as an editorial in the AJC alleges.  You just can't buy this kind of entertainment.

Tony Blair gave a speech in Los Angeles in which he framed the current global war on terror perfectly.
He said that the war was a struggle between western values and the hatred and intolerance of Islamic extremism.  History will record that he was one of just a handful of world leaders that actually gets it.

Michelle Malkin says the deaths of civilians at Qana is being exploited around the Muslim world for propaganda purposes, with Iran pulling the strings.  And the mainstream media is along for the ride, taking their cues from Islamic terrorists.

More and more people are starting to predict total GOP destruction at the polls this fall.  The latest is pundit Charlie Cook, who says the  hostile political climate and high Democratic turnout will doom Republicans.

Some say the world opinion of the United States doesn't matter...and that we should just ignore it.  Tony Blankley doesn't subscribe to this theory, saying even though world opinion is rarely right, we should pay attention to it.

John Stossel takes on trial lawyers in his column today.   Stossel says that trial lawyers like to say they're helping the little guy, but he makes the case that the opposite is actually true.  Always outspoken and worth a read.

Amid much fanfare, President Bush signed the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform bill.  But as Ryan Sager reports, the whole idea has been a complete bust.  Part of the problem is it would appear John McCain has jumped ship.

Cuban dictator Fidel Castro seems to be on his death bed...and though it may be politically incorrect to say so, Ben Shapiro has no problem saying it.  He wishes Castro would kick the bucket as soon as possible.

Dr. Walter E. Williams takes on colleges and some of their courses, saying they aren't teaching anyone anything.  Williams says they're simply indoctrinating people and creating "$40,000 numbskulls."  Priceless.

William F. Buckley wonders when certain wrongs committed elsewhere in the world become everybody's business.   He points to a case in Indonesia where Shariah...Muslim law reigns.  Apparently they're into publicly torturing people.  Should we intervene?

Here's the info on Corky, the Westie mix dog that Neal talked about on the air today.

You'll love this incredible story about an elephant's memory.
