We all know what will happen then. The Mexican Invasion of the United States will only increase, with millions more crossing the border in the next few years. There will be nothing in this new legislation that will stem the invasion tide. In fact, the Democrats are probably going to oppose any funding to get that 700-mile wall on the Mexican/U.S. border built. Yesterday I set forth a five-point plan for ending the Mexican invasion and convincing the illegals already in this country to head back home. This plan is certainly not original with me. It has been gleaned from a variety of sources. I can think of no better way to end the invasion, send the invasion force back home, while still satisfying our need for the labor that has been provided by the invaders ... all at a minimal cost to government. We received many emails yesterday asking me to put the plan in writing on the Nuze ... so here you go, step-by-step 1. Close the border. If a broken pipe is flooding your basement your first task is to stop the water from coming in. It makes no sense at all to start trying to clean up while the water is still pouring in. There can be no question that it is the responsibility of our federal government to protect our borders. This is a responsibility that is being ignored. Take whatever resources you need, the military, the national guard .. whatever .. and shut the borders down. Concertina wire can be strung across the entire border in a matter of days or weeks. 2. Punish those who employ and house illegal aliens. Pass a set of laws that establish harsh punishment for employers who hire illegal aliens and for commercial landlords who house them. The government would establish a minimum set of standards that an employer and a landlord must met when determining the legality of someone applying for employment. Private firms already exist who provide verification services to employers. These firms will spread as the demand for their services expand. Any business or landlord who hires or rents space to an illegal alien without doing due-diligence to assure that employees legal status will be subject to fines and punishment so harsh that the downside will be too great to risk. 3. Shut down all but emergency social services to illegal aliens. This one is pretty self-explanatory. If you are in this country illegally the only government services you will be entitled to will be normal law enforcement services and services necessary to save your life in the event of a medical emergency. Any illegal alien presenting himself to a hospital for such services shall be treated, stabilized and deported. 4. Deny federal funds to all cities who have so-called "sanctuary laws." These are law that prohibit police and law enforcement from investigation the legal status of those they may suspect of being in this country illegally. These laws are directly implicated in the deaths of law enforcement officers and private citizens. 5. Establish a guest worker program. Establish a guest worker program designed to make sure that American businesses, especially agriculture, has access to the workers they need. Non-citizens can register to become guest workers, but registration can only take place in the countries where they legally reside. NO guest worker permits will be issued in the United States. Employment for Guest Workers will be arranged ONLY through privately owned guest worker agencies operating under a strict set of federally mandated rules. When a U.S. employer needs guest workers he will supply a list of requirements to one of these employment agencies. That agency will then arrange for the required workers through a counterpart in Mexico, India ... wherever. The employment agency will be responsible for transporting the guest worker to and from the place of employment, and for finding housing for that guest worker while here. The guest worker will be paid ONLY through the employment agency. The agency will, in turn, charge the employer for the guest worker's salary, transportation costs to and from this country, and housing costs. The employer may, if desired, provide housing for the guest worker. When the employer no longer needs the services of the guest worker, the employment agency will provide for transportation of that guest worker back to his own country. The advantage of this plan is that there is no way for someone in this country illegally to live and work unless they are being harbored and their expenses covered by a legal resident or citizen. With the guest worker program in place no intelligent employer is going to take the chance of a large fine or imprisonment by hiring an illegal. All they have to do is contact the employment agency and the guest worker arrives soon thereafter! This program has one big drawback. The guest workers aren't allowed to vote in U.S. elections. With the Democrats in control of the congress, there is little chance of seeing anything like this implemented. We covered this on the air yesterday, but again people are demanding details. We've often asked on the air why, if Islam the peaceful religion that many Muslims want us to believe it is, we don't hear more Muslims speaking out against Islamic terrorism. Well, now we may have an explanation. Jamal Miftah is a Muslim residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is an immigrant from Pakistan. Jamal Miftah is a member of the Islamic Center of Tulsa Mosque. On October 29th Jiftah wrote an article for the op-ed page of the Tulsa World. Here is what he wrote:
Well, that's a pretty striking condemnation of Islamic violence from a Muslim, wouldn't you say? Well it certainly didn't go over well with Jamal's fellow Tulsa Mosque. Jamal Miftah was expelled from his Mosque. The governing board has since ruled he can return. He has also been subjected to death threats and threats of violence from his fellow members of the religion of peace. Miftah was told that he should not criticize Islam in front of non-Muslims. I've re-read Jamal's letter, and for the life of me I can't see where he criticized Islam. I guess that if you criticize any Muslim that is considered to be criticizing Islam. If you search the blogs on this matter you'll see a letter from Jamal Miftah responding to this situation. He says: "I am Jamal Miftah and I stand by what I have written. America is great country and so its people and I hope and pray that one day justice is done to the victims of 9/11, no matter what Mr. Kabbani, the Imam of Tulsa mosque or Mr. Abu Waleed, the spokesman for Islamic Society of Tulsa feel or say. God bless America." Now there is one Muslim I would be proud to have
as a neighbor and count as a friend.
Today is a day of celebration for Islamic terrorist all over the globe.
Yesterday they won a tremendous victory with the withdrawal of John Bolton's
nomination for ambassador to the United Nations. Bolton, who took the job
on an interim appointment, didn't have the votes to be confirmed. Rather
than risk a fight with the new Democratic Congress, President Bush pulled the
nomination. John Bolton, they say, was too tough; too confrontational. That means he wasn't plaint enough when the international community came calling with their agenda to weaken America. The United Nations is no friend of the United
States. Year after year, decade after decade, the U.N. has been working on
the side of half-assed third world dictators and the people like Saddam
Hussein and against the best interests of its host country. Time are good
if you're an Islamic terrorist, a dictator or a member of the insurgency.
Our enemies now know that we are weaker. We do not even have the national
courage and strength to leave a tough, no-nonsense diplomat in the U.N., an
ambassador who wasn't afraid to stand up for our interests and face down Kofi
Annan and his corrupt administration. .
REDNECK SCRAP BOOK The deer don't have a chance with this guy. Heck, there probably won't be anything left to eat. More in the Redneck Scrap Book. READING ASSIGNMENTS
Hillary Clinton is loading up for her 2008 presidential campaign, hiring some of the Democratic big guns already. The first order of business: fundraising. It takes a lot of money to win the White House, you know. Looks like the Army is running a bit short on money and equipment. Will the Democratic Congress step up to the plate and give them what they need to fight the War On Terror? We'll see...but they probably shouldn't hold their breath. Dennis Prager is responding to his critics...after he made national news for criticizing incoming Congressman Keith Ellison for using a Koran during his personal swearing-in ceremony in the House of Representatives. As they say on Fox, we report, you decide. Pat Buchanan is no fan of the Bush Administration when it comes to foreign policy in the Middle East and today's column drives that point home just a bit further. He is accusing the White House of being impotent in the region now. Nancy Pelosi is making known her first priority as the new Speaker of the House: a minimum wage bill. And just what will the new minimum wage be? $10 an hour? Nope...just $7.25 an hour. Who can raise a family of four on that? Cheapskates! 2008 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has an idea for dealing with the Mexican invasion: let state troopers arrest illegal aliens. The Massachusetts governor says he has worked out a deal with the federal government to have the troopers arrest the illegals. Hollywood makes movies criticizing big business, but Thomas Sowell has a different take. He points out that those doing the criticizing actually make more money than those they are criticizing. A good economics lesson. At one point, George Allen and Rick Santorum were considered the heirs of the Reagan mantle...conservatives that could potentially win the presidency. But Susan Estrich wants to know where all the conservatives have gone on the right? David Limbaugh points out Supreme Court Stephen Breyer's recent comments about the purpose of the court and calls them nothing short of dangerous. What ever happened to judges simply upholding the law? Outdated concept, evidently. In case you missed it on the Nuze yesterday, here's the link again describing a way thieves are getting at your bank account. 12-year-old gets liposuction. Dollars to donuts she'll be back to morbidly obese within a year. | |||||
