ORLANDO
FAIRTAX RALLY SET! OK ... We've heard from the folks at WDBO and we now have the
date and time for our
FairTax Rally in Orlando! The goal here is to get a huge
crowd cheering for the demise of the IRS and the federal income
tax.
There will be plenty of details on the way ... but here's
your date and location. The Orlando FairTax Rally will be at
10:00 a.m. on on Orange Avenue in front of the Orlando City
Hall? Why 10:00 in the morning? Because we wanted to have this
rally outside, and that means the morning if we want to get a
jump on the thunderstorms. Why outside? Because we want to
make this look like a political rally you might see in the heat
of a presidential race! We want no less than 10,000 FairTax supporters on the streets
surrounding the Orlando City Hall on that Saturday morning. We
want them chanting, waving signs, wearing buttons, and generally
showing the political class that we are sick and fed up with the
current punishing tax code ... and we want the FairTax to be
given a fair hearing on Capitol Hill! We really have the potential for a huge crowd here my
friends. We can draw Boortz listeners and FairTax supporters
from the East Coast of Florida .. from Jacksonville down to
Miami. The Boortz show is heard virtually every inch of the
way. Then there's Ocala, Gainesville, Tampa, Sarasota, Ft.
Myers and Naples! Plus, our huge following in Orlando! As I said .... details on the way. But make those plans for
July 29th now! |
ISLAMIC TERRORISTS MURDER U.S. SOLDIERS
It was sad and crushing, though not unexpected news that broke yesterday
when it was announced that the two missing G.I.'s in Iraq had been found
dead. The Iraqi government announced that they were
killed in a barbaric
way and media reports say the men were tortured and at least one of them
was beheaded. An Islamic Al-Qaeda website took credit for the murders.
But pay special attention to the media coverage of this incident, while it
lasts. You will absolutely never hear the words "Islamic" or "terrorists."
All the press will call them is "insurgents." But that's really not true.
The killers of these men were Al-Qaeda terrorists...which we know are mostly
foreign fighters. There just seems to be a great reluctance on the part of
some of those who bring us the news to actually admit that Al Qaeda is
active in Iraq! Remember ... the party line has long been that there was no
connection between Saddam and Al Qaeda. Some don't want that party line
blurred with facts.
I predict an early demise of the story about these two savaged Americans.
This is the kind of news story that would make people good and mad about the
Islamic terrorists we're fighting in Iraq. This is also the kind of story
that might make people second-guess their opposition to the war in Iraq.
After all, if this is how our boys are being treated, we absolutely need to
stay and finish business. Leftists in the media want to run stories that
encourage us to run ... not to stay and kick some jihadist ass. Let's see
if there's anything in the news about these two men on Friday.
It's always the same...any news that could be perceived as increasing the
support for the war and the Bush Administration will be shuffled off the
front page faster than you can say "Miami Heat win first NBA title."
IF THEY FIRE THAT THING OFF ... SHOOT IT DOWN!
The cat and mouse game continues between us and The Gargoyle over in North
Korea. He's determined to
test his long-range missile...and we're
threatening consequences if he does so. And just what are those
consequences? Will we shoot it down? Will we blow up the military base
from which it was launched? How about a few bombing raids over Pyongyang?
I know! We can send Jimmy Carter over there to promise them some of our
latest nuclear and military technology if they'll just calm down a bit!
But there is late word this morning....North Korea wants to negotiate.
They're demanding direct talks with the United States over their threatened
missile launch. One of The Gargoyle's goons at the U.N. said "We are aware
of the U.S. concerns about our missile test-launch. So our position is that
we should resolve the issue through negotiations."
What are they looking for? Money. They make a threat. We threaten
back. They say they want to talk. We talk. They make demands. We call
Jimmy Carter to see how to meet their demands.
There is also the likelihood that we'll continue to pursue the toothless
"stop or I'll say stop again" strategy with North Korea. North Korea will
fire its missile, we'll tell them how pissed we are, and then we'll go back
to funding earmarks.
THE POODLE JOINS THE INSURGENCY
Senators John Kerry and Russ Feingold sent out
an e-mail to 3 million people
yesterday in which they demanded that the Bush Administration
set a firm
deadline for the withdrawal of our troops. The two military generals went
on to say that "Our country desperately needs a new vision for strengthening
our national security, and it starts by redeploying U.S. forces out of
Iraq." Of course they don't say a word about the mess that would be left
behind if we did that. Notice, please, the use of words here. They don't say "pull out" or
"withdraw." No ... it's "redeploy." Redeployment, in the mind of a
Democrat, is a fancy word for "quit."
This isn't the first time we've heard such talk from The Poodle. But the
fact that he wants the United States to fully surrender to the Islamic
terrorists in Iraq can mean only one thing: John Kerry has joined the
insurgency in Iraq. OK, so he's only an affiliate member without full
Terrorist Club privileges, but, after all, their goals are his goals...the
anti-American rantings on Islamic websites sound just like Democratic Party
talking points.
Democrats are desperate. They are absolutely and fully invested in our
defeat in the War On Terror. They not only don't want the United States to
win, but they're rooting for the other side. It's all they have this fall.
Take away the war in Iraq at the polls in November, and the Democratic Party
has nothing else save for their big-government agenda. What do they stand
for? What is their vision for America? All we hear about over and over is
that the troops should be pulled out of Iraq. And they act like our
successes in Iraq never took place.
If the war in Iraq drags on too much longer, sKerry may have to once again
throw back his medals...or ribbons..or whatever he calls them these days.
PAYING TOO MUCH FOR GAS? DID YOU KNOW ...... Since 1970 America's domestic petroleum production has declined by
one-half? That America's political establishment has been working for over 25 years
to prevent increases in our energy supply? That the U.S. is, according to the Heritage Foundation, "the only nation
in the world that has placed a significant amount of its potential domestic
energy supplies off-limits"? That ethanol is not the answer you think it is? That after Katrina there was a bill in the congress to streamline the
process for issuing permits for new oil refineries? This bill would have
encouraged the construction of new oil refineries on closed military bases.
It was blocked in the Senate by Democrats. Want More?
Read this column in today's Wall Street Journal by Pete Du Pont. FOR THE MULTI-CULTIS OUT THERE
What is a multi-culti? A multi-culturalist, of course. A person who
believes that no one culture is superior to another; that all cultures are
of equal worth. so ... a question for our multi-culti readers. Why don't
you call the show today to tell us how the Islamic Culture is equal and as
worthy in every way to the Western Culture? Sure would love to hear you
take on that? Tell us how in modern Western culture we behead captives
during a time of war and then leave their booby-trapped bodies by the
roadside to kill others? We're waiting! LOOKING AT THE EMAIL!
OK now, let's see. What has ye olde email box brought us from the
wonderful Boortz listeners the last few days? Truth be told, the email
handlers get in there so fast that sometimes I miss the really juicy ones.
Of course this also means that I don't have to read 235 messages about how
my eBay account is being suspended. Here are a few that have been saved.
Enjoy!

hi there. your peculiar personality has kept you firmly seated on the
bottom rung of talk radio land your entire career. it amazes me that
your audience who you constantly insult still listens to you. btw, the
fair tax has no chance of going anywhere if you remain the spokesman.
no one knows who you are. people being the sheep they are need a hot,
blond spokesmodel to sell this deal. pamela anderson? lastly, please
give jamie his own show, maybe yours. yeah, that's the ticket! talk
radio, for people who can't think for themselves.

All of you rageful people on the right are USING "politics" to vent what
is obviously just personal rage. Please get some help and stop all
this venom. You are lowering the level of discourse in this county
and giving people "permission" to be just as simplistic and LAZY,
brain-wise, as you.

Hey Neal: Let me quote you from a letter I received from Congressman
John Mica of FL.in response to a letter from me. "The time for Congress
to act on the important issue of tax reform is sooner rather than later.
That is why I have recently decided to lend my support and cosponsorship
to HR25, the Fair Tax proposal by Rep. John Linder." How do like them
apples! Keep the faith. Nate Schelle from St. Augustine

Hi Neal;
I'm a retired Marine of 23 years. I fought in Vietnam during the lean
years (64 - 69) 1964 reflects me first of all as an adviser with
MAGGV-1. I fought and was wounded twice at Hamburger Hill and KhaShan
when it was under siege. As I forever Marine; I cannot understand what
the hell is going on with this matter of defending or shooting. I was
always taught in the Corps that if you hesitate your DEAD. Because of
all of these rules in COMBAT in Iraq everyone is starting to get afraid
to shoot anyone because if they do; it may well spell their own demise.
No one wants to end up in prison for doing COMBAT. We must understand
that this WAR we are fighting now is so different from any WAR we've
ever fought. The enemy here is deceptive and brutal. I've been looking
at the Michael Savage site; it's brutal beyond belief. America is going
to have to come to its reality and stop all of this political nonsense.
We can never cut or run; if we do that it will indeed be the end of
America as we know it. Murtha is no more of a hero than I am and I am
quite DECORATED from Vietnam. I'm going to end by saying this: Those
with responsibility of our land had better re-think the whole process
because our founding FATHERS never, never devised a CONSTITUTION of such
principals as is cited today. O! my goodness if they could see or hear;
how they would turn over in their GRAVES.
And let's finish with a prime example of the brilliance that results from
government education: - Message:
Hey Neal,
I saw a poll yesterday that said close to 65% of Americans were in favor
of a flag burning amendment. Wouldn't this be a situation where
consensus should rule the day? What say you?
What say me? Well .. I say that there should never be a day when
consensus, or the will of the mob, should rule the day over the right of one
individual to express a contrarian viewpoint. You, sir, are supporting mob
rule. I rather like the idea of a rule of law. If you like these,
you'll get a dose of the best of them in every Boortz Blast newsletter.

READING ASSIGNMENTS Are you wondering just how many illegal aliens there might be in your
particular state? Well ... thanks to information from a listener,
here's your link! Number one, of course, is California. Georgia is No.
7. Can you guess No. 50? This data is based on the 2000 census. There are
an estimated 5 million additional invaders since then. Dare I say it?
"Here come da Judge!" All rise!
Islamic terrorists have killed another member of Saddam Hussein's defense
team. This makes the third lawyer of Saddam's to bite the dust since
his trial began. I guess that's what you would call an occupational hazard.
Here's the first bit of good news for Congressional Democrats in a good
while.
They've passed Republicans in an important category: money raised for
campaigns this fall. However, there are still several months to go.
The new head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection said yesterday that
he does not favor building a wall along the Mexican border. Why no, we
can't have that....that would actually keep out more illegal aliens! And
we all know that isn't the goal of the Bush Administration.
Today
Dr. Walter Williams revisits something from history that many people may not
know: Karl Marx was a racist. The father of Communism had some most
intolerant things to say in his time.
Al Gore went on TV last night on two shows to blast anyone who doesn't
believe in global warming. He went so far as to say that the debate is
over...and no credible scientist disagrees with him. He only wishes that
were so.
Democrats are not only calling for the United States to cut and run in Iraq,
but they want a "troop redeployment." Especially, they say, in light of
the murders of two U.S. soldiers by Islamic terrorists. Of course, they
want you to forget our victory over Zarqawi...because like the insurgents,
they're invested in our defeat in Iraq.
The highest-ranking White House official in the Abramoff scandal was found
guilty yesterday. The former chief of staff of the General Services
Administration could be going away for a long time. Hard to believe this
isn't getting more attention from the anti-Bush media.
John Stossel, always on the lookout for hypocrisy by public officials,
is taking them to task today over drug laws. When running for office, they
downplay any past drug use...then proceed to push for laws locking people up
for doing that they did.
Laura Bush is going to be speaking to the American Library Association next
week. The event is expected to be a non-political one, as is often the case
with the First Lady.
But Michelle Malkin reports some leftists in the library organization are
already becoming unhinged.
Democrats have announced they have all sorts of new policies and are headed
in a new direction.
But as Herman Cain points out, their new direction looks an awful lot like
the old direction: obstruction. Video of Neal on Hannity & Colmes talking about the FairTax with Sean. |
