Friday, September 1, 2006 This comes as absolutely no surprise....yesterday
Iran responded to the
U.N.-imposed deadline to stop enriching uranium and shut down its nuclear
weapons program. Their response? As we predicted, they told the West to go
perform a physical impossibility on itself. Said the crazy little man that
runs the terrorist state: "The Iranian nation will not succumb to bullying,
invasion and the violation of its rights." That's tough talk from one
country...thumbing its nose at the community. So what's going to happen
now? Delay No. 1. And you thought the United States didn't negotiate with terrorists. On the contrary, we just get somebody else to do it for us. The appeasement routine continues with Iran. I can tell you one thing that we could do this week that would send a signal. Pass a unanimous resolution in the Congress of the United States calling for immediate drilling for oil in the portion of the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge that was set aside for ---- all together now ---- drilling for oil. Follow that up with another resolution opening up all coastlines --- and yes, that includes Florida -- for oil and gas exploration. A 20 mile buffer ought to do it. When that resolution is passed we can get busy on more action to start converting that oil shale in Utah, Nevada and Wyoming into oil, start some coal gasification projects, and start issuing permits for nuclear power plants. The message here? We're going energy independent ... and bringing the rest of the West with us. Iran can choke on its own oil. That won't happen though. The environmentalists won't allow it. Remember ... only a portion of the environmental movement in this country is actually dedicated to the preservation of our environment. Many of those clowns are dedicated to something else ... the weakening of America and our capitalist economy. They love seeing the great capitalist giant cower at the feet of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Islamic fascist backers. Let's all stop to give thanks to the Democrats and their fellow travelers on the left for stripping our country of all resolve to fight for freedom. And remember ... nothing is worth fighting for that would cause the death
of a civilian! The Hildabeast made a speech yesterday at the new site of the National
Women's Hall of Fame. In that speech she came right out and said what
anyone with half a brain has known since her husband was elected in 1993:
she wants to be president. More specifically, she said she hope's America
is ready for its first woman president and "It just depends on when and if
that happens. Stay tuned." Uh-huh.
A TV network in Great Britain has produced a fake documentary about the assassination of President George W. Bush...and is offering it to the networks here in the United States. Will one of the broadcast networks actually air it? No way...you can forget that. But maybe one of the cable outlets will grab it...who knows. A lot of people are shocked and outraged over this program...but really, we shouldn't be surprised. The vitriolic hatred for George W. Bush and America itself in certain European quarters has never been more intense. It should come as no surprise that some want to see Bush rubbed out. Remember this though ..... When Iran gets the bomb. When the Islamic fascists start threatening Western Europe with nuclear terrorism ... where do you think the Euro-weenies will run for help. No mystery there. REDNECK SCRAP BOOK The ultimate redneck accessory. We've featured something similar before, but it wasn't cammo! More in the Redneck Scrap Book. READING ASSIGNMENTS
Joe Lieberman says he expects the cold shoulder from his Democratic colleagues when he returns to the Senate next week, following the summer break. Perhaps those upset that he hasn't dropped out of the race in favor of anti-war leftist Ned Lamont will change their tune when they realize Joe's probably going to win. It seems Muslims in the United States and elsewhere are finally starting to realize it might be a good idea to turn out the bad apples and get the word out that they aren't all terrorists. There are some folks in the Islamic community aiming to do just that. It's being reported that the U.S. had been tracking Pakistani-trained terrorists since 2003...the same ones that were arrested in the foiled UK plane bombing. They were planning on posing as aides to disabled travelers. These people will stop at nothing, folks. So what are our options in halting Iran's nuclear program? Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich says he doesn't think military action is the way to go and says we should instead focus on trying to replace the regime through other means. The IRS has cleared the NAACP of charges it is a political organization, a distinction that could have cost the group its non-profit status. If the NAACP isn't a political organization, I don't know what is. Daniel Henninger says recent speeches by administration officials show that Karl Rove is cutting his losses and accepting big Democratic gains at the polls in November. Henninger says that's wise, because history tells us that's what's coming. And now, a column all Americans should read, written by a Democrat. Former New York Mayor Ed Koch wants to know why so many Americans refuse to accept the fact that we are at war against an enemy that wants to kill us all. So now that Richard Armitage has been outed as one of the Valerie Plame affair leakers, Byron York asks the question: Will Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wilson be suing Armitage? York says no....the Wilsons are really after bigger fish in the pond. Democrats are upset about recent national security speeches by George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld, among others, and they accuse the administration of politicizing the war. David Limbaugh says it's the other way around, and the Democrats know it. How do Muslims living in the west feel about helping law enforcement prevent terrorist attacks? This article will give you some reason to hope. | ||
