| Wednesday, August 1, 2007 WHERE'S NEAL? Today Neal is...well, let's just say he is in an undisclosed location, to be disclosed on the show tomorrow. Trust me, you'll want to tune in to find out what he was up to. Meanwhile, we haven't left you high and dry. Here's our contribution to the 1.7 hours of the work day you'll be wasting today. GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS NAILED IN PARODIES We shared one of these on the Nuze last week, and emailed the others to Boortz Blast subscribers. We send them lots of stuff you never see. Make sure you don't miss a thing by signing up here. Do you remember those School House Rock animations that used to run with children's cartoons on Saturday mornings? Well, MadTV is using them to nail government schools in a series of parodies. Our only complaint is that they call them "public" schools rather than "government". Check them out! Dysfunction Junction | Nouns | Substoot Teecher BOORTZ POWER LUNCH Atlanta area folks, it's time for another Boortz Power Lunch presented by Solomon Brothers Jewelers! Our Congress is getting closer and closer to socialized health care. Democrats now want to include middle-class families in a federally funded health insurance program for low-income children. American consumer confidence jumped to its highest level in more than six years. The death toll in Iraq is at its lowest in 8 months. Joe Lieberman continues to voice his opinion on Iraq ... and Democrats aren't happy. Take a look at Obama's plan to solve poverty. Just so you know where your tax dollars will be going. Iran sentenced two journalists to death. Why? Well officials can't come up with a real reason. Could it be that they are journalists ... and happen to be in the Kurdish minority. Here are Michael Barone's thoughts on the New York Times op-ed column on Iraq, written by two Brookings Institute scholars. Slowly but surely, Georgia's tough new illegal immigration laws seem to be working, and 3 out of every 5 illegals are upset ... FOX got into a little heat when a popular dance show featured 2 hours of anti-war dances and a judge dressed in a Marine blouse with its stripes upside down. Looks like I'll have to show my ID when I go to the polls in Georgia. The motion to reconsider the lawsuit -- saying that showing an ID "burdens the voters" - was denied. This mom has her pants in a wad because her homeowners association won't let her son swim in the community pool unless he is potty trained. A new study shows that it only takes two days of "inhaling" for your teen to become addicted to cigarettes. | ||
