WELCOME TO 2007!

       One more day of vacation and we'll be back at it tomorrow.   The Neal Boortz Show will start out the New Year with a highlight ... our debut on America's first radio station, Pittsburgh's KDKA!

   Tomorrow on the show and here in Neal'z Nuze we'll spend more time looking ahead to the next two years than looking back.  To put it bluntly, I'm not encouraged about the future of this country.  Oh, to be sure, the Unite States will endure, but it won't be the same country that most of us grew up in.

   Our love of freedom continues to decline, while we turn our attention to to our growing worship of government, celebrities and professional athletes.  No greater evidence of this exists than the current wave of Barack Obamamania that is sweeping our country.  Here is a man who has shown absolutely nothing extraordinary that should elevate him to this level of attention .. yet there he is leading the Democrat pack for the 2008 nomination.

   Well, I want to get into all of this tomorrow.  It's time to go watch the Rose Bowl Parade .... maybe a bit of breakfast first.

   I do want to thank the staff of Marie-Michelle's Restaurant on the Bay in Naples.  That's where Donna and I chose to enjoy our New Year's Eve.  Thanks,Marie-Michelle, for the bottle of Dom.  Donna had to drive home.
