TODAY'S ISLAMO-TERRORIST NEWS

First ... let's review. For the edification of The New York Times, which refuses to identify terrorists as Islamic or Muslim, and for the new British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, who has instructed his government to not use the word Islamic or Muslim in connection with terrorism .....

... not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims!

Ok .. now that we have your reeducation out of the way, let's get on with some of today's news about Islamic terrorists.

The AP is reporting this morning that al-Qaeda is now up to the operating strength it had prior to the 9/11 terrorist attacks against the United States. The White House is expected to release some of the details today.

The report, according to an anonymous source, says that al-Qaeda is "showing greater and greater ability to plan attacks in Europe and the United States" and that they have created a "robust" training program.

The CIA seems to be on board with this analysis. A CIA official told congress yesterday that al-Qaeda is "pretty well settled into the safe haven and the ungoverned spaces of Pakistan" where the CIA is seeing more training ... more money ... more communications and more activity.

In other word, the threat is still out there ... and increasing.

In the meantime we seem to be spending more time worrying about offending Muslim sensibilities by stating the obvious .. that Muslim terrorists still are out there, still present a threat, and still want to control, dominate and subjugate Western culture and all things not Islamic.

A few questions come to mind:

Where is al-Qaeda getting the money? Why is Pakistan permitted to harbor these people? Why aren't American warplanes taking these training camps out even as you read these words? Why is America looking so weak in the face of this exposed threat? When will these Islamic terrorists hit this country next? Where? How many will die?

And .. the most important question of all ... why are the American people poised to place into power the very people in this country that can not be counted on to stand up and defend us?

THAT'S IT?

A medical van driver in Chicago (here we go with the medical profession again) lied to federal prosecutors about giving money to Hamas terrorists. He funded terrorism. And then he lied about it.

His sentence: 21 months in federal prison for lying. Ok so he also has to pay a $25,000 fine and do 100 hours of community service.

Genarlow Wilson gets 10 years for having sex with his girlfriend - two years younger than he - and this clown collects money for Islamic terrorists and he doesn't even get two years? This man and a co-conspirator knowingly operated "a U.S.-based terrorist recruiting and financing cell" for terrorists. And this is all he gets?

We'll just make this today's lesson in how to grow and maintain respect for the American legal system. It's also a lesson in how serious we seem to be about fighting terrorism.

GLOBAL WARMING UPDATE

Ok .. we have a pantload of global warming stories today ... try to piece these together in whatever way floats your boat:

Europe wants to ban all sports cars. Anything that is "fast" and "powerful." Why?? Global warming. Apparently they produce too much carbon dioxide (so do cows but we aren't banning them ... yet). Chris Davies, a British member of the European Parliament, wants a prohibition on any car that goes faster than101 miles an hour. Even a Honda Civic can go faster than that. As a matter of fact, OwlGore's son had his Prius over 100 mph on a SoCal freeway! This Brit MP calls the cars "boys' toys." So European, for those who abhor sports cars as vulgar symbols of affluence. The proposed ban would take effect in 2013.

The Optimum Population Trust, a UK-based think tank, released a report saying record growth in Britain's birth rate was having an adverse impact on the environment. The report's author, Professor John Guillebaud, said the Government should formulate regulations to force people to "stop at two children" or "have one less." (Sounds a bit like China, eh?) Tell you what. Get rid of those laws requiring you to stop for school busses. That ought to week 'em out. Not only will numbers be reduced, but the fittest, the most alert, will be the ones to survive! (Note: MM myrmidons. This would make a particularly good excerpt for you to highlight in your reports to Brock and Soros today. Make sure your tape recorders are running so you can capture these words when they're said on the program!)

The bottled water industry finally has something to say in response to environmentalist claims that bottled water contributes to global warming. The Bottled Water Information Office says, "Bottled water is most commonly packaged in either plastic or glass, which is totally safe and conforms to strict regulations on health and safety. By far the majority of bottled water (93 per cent) comes in plastic bottles which is totally recyclable. Bottles also carry messages urging the purchaser to recycle after use." Yup ... those messages have always had a huge impact on me!

WHEN IN DOUBT, CRY 'RACISM!'

Let's preface this story by acknowledging that this comes from the Bronx, New York. When explaining this story, keep in mind that there are more blacks in the Bronx than any other ethnicity except for Hispanics. Blacks make up 35.64% of the population in the Bronx.

Two black shoppers have sued Toys "R" Us saying they were subjected to racial discrimination when a security guard asked them to show their receipt at the door on their way out. The woman refused. And now she is suing.

Give me a freaking, big-league break, would you?

The lawsuit said black shoppers are subjected to compulsory inspection of their sales receipts while white shoppers are not. They are seeking compensatory and punitive damages of at least $200 million each.

My staffer, Cristina, who lived in New York City for four years tells me that it is very common in larger stores such as Kmart or Circuit City, to show your receipt at the door. All costumers are required to show the receipt. I would assume it's the same in the Bronx, which is attached to Manhattan.

"Loser pays" system anyone?

Following up on the number-one story in the Nuze ... Michael Isikoff and Mark Hosenball write in Newsweek on "The Return of Al Qaeda."

You gotta love this one. Congressional investigators set up a fake company. Only a P.O. Box for an address. Then ... (are you sitting down) ... this fake company got a license from the government to buy radioactive materials. Yes ... enough radioactive materials to make what they call a "dirty bomb." Government at work.

John McCain's campaign is in the tank. Well, let' see. He's against political free speech. He campaigned hard for amnesty for illegal aliens. Seems like the voters are catching on here. Robert Novak asks Can he come back?

Republicans managed to block a proposal that would allow for longer periods of rest for troops deployed to Iraq multiple times. Ironically, seven republicans are changing their views on Iraq ... and six of them are up for re-election.

Germany is getting serious about terrorism. Well, they are at least trying. And they are the only European country that looked back at its own laws on terrorism, after the attempted airport bombs in the UK and Scotland.

The "Quit Iraq" posse, you know the liberal type, are going to harm the United States and Iraq if they continue on this path of undermining our troops and missions in Iraq.

And no Senators has addressed the question of whether the United States is safer if we leave Iraq than if we stay. Tony Blankley lets 'em have it.

McCain is showing off his fiery temper in Congress. Apparently him and Senator Voinovich got into a little yelling match over the Iraq war.

Imagine this story ... and in a mainstream media newspaper! A columnist for the Washington Post points out that gas prices have risen 90 cents ... since Nancy Pelosi took office.

I'll just keep posting these columns about the Fairness Doctrine. Maybe one of these days, it will finally sink in. This is scary stuff, folks.

This is just ridiculous. A new study estimates that by 2015, 75 percent of adults will be overweight and 41 percent will be obese. That's a lot of lard-asses. The fast food industry has got to be loving this news.

Some young Italian guys in Australia decided to stuff the ballots in the last national election - in other words, commit voting fraud - in exchange for one case of beer. Sad.

How would you feel about this piece of art hanging in your airport ... funded by your tax dollars?

Look at that! Astronomers think that they have found a planet outside our solar system that contains water. As they call it, "the precious ingredient for life."

I know you are just dying to check out the Iranian Muslim fashion show ... featuring clothing described in English as "tents."

Ouch! A woman almost dies after getting a bikini wax?

Here's an interesting bonus article about paranoid politics. "American liberals took leave of reason after JFK's murder." Oh ... so that's when it happened.
