And check back here for your daily reading assignments. NO, YOUR KIDS AREN'T CUTE Ever notice that some parents seem to think that everything their kids do is cute? Here's another mother that wants to stick up for the bad parenting demonstrated by that toddler last week that got he and his mom kicked off a plane.
READING ASSIGNMENTS Here's some more of the reaction to the Michael Vick indictment. His court date has been set for July 26th - the same day as the Falcon's first practice for the upcoming season. The Falcons have decided to let Vick play until the court process has run its course. Looks like the "Senate slumber party" was unsuccessful. The defense bill was pulled off the Senate floor yesterday after failing to get 60 votes. A provision to withdraw the troops from Iraq was set to be attached to the bill. U.S. military officials say that they have captured a top al Qaeda leader in Iraq. This terrorist is supposedly one of the top intermediaries between al Qaeda and al Qaeda in Iraq. Thomas Sowell takes a distanced look at Iraq and the defeatocrats who will have you believe that we have "lost." Hillary's latest sound bite: the Bush administration is "the most radical presidency we have ever had." She can surely apply that to her own administration when she becomes president. Iran's newest government run TV station is already using its power for political propaganda. For the entire week, the station has been teasing the broadcast of two Iranian-Americans "confessing" their plots against Iran. The wife of Daniel Pearl, the WSJ reporter killed in 2002, is suing al Qaeda, other radical groups and Pakistan-based Habib Bank. Government Outrage! This is how many politicians view taxpayer money. Representative Don Young of Alaska got very upset over education funds to his state. He declared to fellow colleagues, "It's my money!" No, Don. It's not your money, it's the taxpayer's money. An alligator bit a vet's arm off ... and they managed to keep the alligator from swallowing it and reattached the arm! The vet is sad because doctors say he won't be able to play the piano again. Warning: the picture is a bit disturbing. A woman goes out to get the paper and comes inside to find a man sitting on her toilet. She asked the man some questions including, "How long are you going to be?" Unfortunately she couldn't understand the response because he only spoke Spanish. And a woman in Berlin is told by a bus driver that she is "too sexy" and a distraction to his driving. Here's something to think about if you have a trip to Belize planned. Yikes! | ||
