MEDIA MATTERS ON THE ATTACK AGAINST LIMBAUGH

If you need any proof that the Democrats are going to try to rip the guts out of talk radio when they gain control of the White House, you need look no further than the current storm surrounding Rush Limbaugh.

OK .. so Limbaugh is a competitor (though I'm sure he doesn't see me as any competition for him whatsoever). That's fine. Competing for stations and ratings is one thing, but when a fellow talk show host is attacked by mindless myrmidons like Media Matters it's another. I'll step forward and defend any host who is being wrongly attacked, just as I did with O'Reilly. The difference is, Limbaugh won't attack me later for it.

The instigator here is Media Myrmidons. They like to call themselves "Media Matters" but myrmidons fits so much better. Media Myrmidons is an ultra left-wing machine created by Hillary Clinton and her supporters and backers to carry forth the attack on conservative talk radio. Every once in a while they do me the favor of featuring me in one of their attacks, thus increasing my name recognition across the country. It is no real surprise that ever since Media Myrmidons started their attacks on me my syndication has begun to grow ... adding over five stations just this week.

Back to Limbaugh.

Media Myrmidons started this attack on Limbaugh by writing that Rush called "service members who advocate U.S. withdrawal from Iraq 'phony soldiers.'" Media Myrdions is lying .. and they know they're lying. They also know that they can depend on the mainstream media in this country to not only ignore their distortion, but to actually work to support and spread it.

This whole mess starts with a clown by the name of Jesse Macbeth. Macbeth became very popular with the media earlier this year when he started telling stories about all of the hideous crimes he saw our soldiers commit while he was serving in Afghanistan and Iraq as an Army ranger. Oh, how the leftist media sopped it up. The only problem was, Macbeth was lying.

Rather than take my word for it, here's an excerpt from a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington:

U.S. Attorney Jeffrey C. Sullivan today announced some of the results of "Operation Stolen Valor," a year long effort to investigate and prosecute those who lie about their military service for financial gain or other reasons.

Here's Sullivan's description of Jesse Macbeth:

*Jesse Macbeth, 23, Tacoma, Washington, sentenced today in connection with his fraudulent claims of military service. Macbeth sought medical benefits claiming to suffer from PTSD related to service in Iraq and Afghanistan, in fact, Macbeth was discharged from the Army about a month after he joined. Macbeth never traveled outside the U.S. with the Army. Macbeth duped reporters, claiming to be a decorated Army Ranger who had witnessed war crimes.

We know exactly what's going on here. It's no mystery. Rush Limbaugh is perhaps the biggest single obstacle in the way of Hillary Clinton or some other member of the MoveOn Democrat Party becoming our next president. Media Matters is a creation of Hillary Clinton and her cabal. There's no denying this, Hillary has openly admitted her role in creating this organization. As the election season continues you can expect Media Myrmidons to increase their attacks, and as they do so their attacks on Conservative talk radio will sound more and more desperate. And while Media Myrmidons keeps up the attack, Hillary's dog washers - Harry Reid, for example - will keep barking from the sidelines.

I just wish Media Matters would pay more attention to me. I need the publicity.

SUPREME COURT TAKES ACTION

The Supreme Court kicked off its new term yesterday by rejecting some 2,000 appeals. One of those appeals was that of a Gitmo prisoner who was Osama bin Laden's driver.

The Court also rejected two religion cases. One was whether religious groups should be required to cover contraceptives for employees. The other was whether or not religious groups could worship in public libraries. Since the Supremes won't rule, I will.

• Nobody should ever be required to provide anyone with contraceptives.
• Religious groups should be able to worship in public libraries so long as the libraries are open to all religious groups. Muslims and Wiccans included.

A few more rejected by the court ... Slave descendents wanted reparations from railroads, banks, insurers and tobacco companies. (No). And, again, the Court rejected a challenge to Alabama's asinine sex toy ban.

Strange thing - that sex toy ban in Alabama. There must be a whole mess of insure men running around loose in that state.

COST OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

LA County has released figures which outline the actual cost of illegal immigrants. Remember that these figures are just for Los Angeles County and they are just for one month.

In the month of July, illegal immigrants and their families collected over $35 million in welfare and food stamps. $20 million in welfare and $15 million in food stamps.

The estimated annual cost of illegal immigrants in LA County -- $440 million.

But wait, that doesn't include the additional $220 million for public safety and $400 million for healthcare. Where are we at now? The taxpayers of LA County are paying more than $1 billion per year because of illegal aliens.

One more thing ... that figure does not include the soaring cost of government education.

Then again .. remember that Mexican Magazine which ran a story with the headline "Los Angeles is Ours!" Fine ... let Mexico pay the bills.

..... and the invasion rolls on.

SNEAKY RUSSIANS

Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, is trying to find a way to maintain his power once he is forced to step down as president. That will happen early next year.

Putin has the rest of this year to get on the party ticket for December parliamentary elections and become prime minister. If you don't know anything about Russian politics ... the president and prime minister are supposed to share power and balance one another.

As president, he is already setting up a system that would weaken his presidential successor by placing him at the mercy of rival powers. Putin, leading the United Russia party would instantaneously be at the head of this rival power at the center of the political spectrum, thereby giving him more power as prime minister.

As Prime Minister, Putin would also be next in line ... should anything happen to the president. This would give him an automatic third term.

If this scenario works out for Putin, and if I were the new president, I think I might want to carry a Geiger counter around with me.

I'm sorry .. .those of you who went to government schools might not know what a Geiger counter is. Pity.

AMERICANS SAY TO NO BABY BOND

When it comes to Hillary's baby bond scheme, she failed to mention that it would cost taxpayers $20 billion annually. But that's besides the point ...

A Rasmussen telephone poll found that 60% of likely voters oppose Hillary's plan to give every new born baby a $5,000 savings bond.

Curiously, 65% of whites opposed the baby bond idea. 52% of minorities favored the baby bond idea. Well --- maybe that's not so curious - but I don't want to step on any ethnic toes here, do I?

Now that this poll is out there, let's see if Hillary Rodham ever mentions her baby bonus idea again. If not, she'll certainly come up with some other grand income redistribution scheme.

PEACEFUL RELIGION UPDATE

Over 100 girls' schools have been closed in Pakistan after pro-Taliban militants murdered a female teacher. The teacher was shot after she did not comply with Islamic extremist threats ... the teacher did not start wearing burka head-to-toe veils.

Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan have recently targeted several women's educational institutes. A missionary in the North-West Frontier Province was shut down for a week, after Muslim extremists accused the administration of propagating Christianity and obscenity. Education officials have now made the wearing of burkas mandatory for all female students after receiving more threatening letters.

Some Muslim men clearly fear women. I wonder if they let them have sex toys.

What is known as the "Ramadan Spike" has failed to occur this year, as violence in Iraq is diminishing. However, Nancy Pelosi is insisting just the opposite. Could that be because Princess Nancy, the aging hollow-eyed hippie from Haight-Ashbury is invested in our defeat in Iraq?

The CIA is recruiting more minorities - particularly people of Asian and Middle Eastern decent - to aid in the war on terror. Last year, one out of every four agents hired was a minority. That's fine. Just so they aren't gay. James Dobson wouldn't like that.

A Bosnian man tried to attack the US embassy in Vienna, walking in with a backpack filled with explosives, nails and ... Islamic literature.

The British have begun their campaign to fight Islamophobia. Take a look at their snazzy new bus advertisements. I'll get back to you when some peace-loving Muslim blows that bus up.

After saying that he would prefer to see a Christian president in the White House, John McCain is (expectedly) receiving a lot of flack.

The British government raised the smoking age from 16 to 18 years old. Ten percent of 11 to 15-year-olds are smokers in Britain.

Speaking of smoking ... smoking is now banned from outdoor restaurants in Beverly Hills, California. Unlike in Canada, California officials did not make any exceptions for Muslim hookah bars.

The number of Cubans fleeing their communist dictatorship is at its highest peak since 1994. Twice as many Cubans are coming via Mexico instead of across the Florida Straits.

Meanwhile, take a look at how San Francisco is handling the situation. Labor unions are trying to block new homeland security department rules that would crack down on companies that hire illegal immigrants.

A recent study shows that emergency services are the least prepared to help children, in the event of an emergency. The study said that children should be a "major priority." Now that this study is really saying is that government is the least prepared to help children. One good grandmother is worth a busload of social workers.

This woman is looking for a Canadian husband so that she can have the government pay for her cancer treatment. Is she rich? Does she have a will?

The only foods that this British boy can eat are chicken, carrots, grapes, potatoes and apples. He is allergic to every other type of food.
