AFTERTHOUGHT!

HATE SPEECH .... THIS IS GETTING SO CHILDISH

Got an email from Matt today. Probably not his real name. He would have good reason to keep his name off my show ... since he got kicked out of school for reading Nealz Nuze.

Matt tells me that he had finished his schoolwork and then logged on to Boortz.com. The teacher saw what he was reading and went ballistic. She called the Nuze "hate speech" and sent him to the principal's office. The school assistant principal then grilled Matt just what it is that he likes about my website .. and then promptly suspended him.

This whole "hate speech" thing is so transparent, childish and tiring. You do know what's going on here, don't you? When a liberal finds themselves in a position where they simply can't mount a rational argument against a position taken by a conservative or libertarian, they simply put their fingers in their ears and start screaming "hate speech!"

Bottom line ... just remember that when you hear some liberal squalling about "hate speech," you're listening to a liberal who lacks the intellect to deal with the subject at hand. There seems to be quite of those around lately.

REMEMBER TOM DASHLE?

Yeah ... he's the Senate Democrat Leader who once said "You don't professionalize unless you Federalize." He was talking about the formation of a government system for screening passengers at commercial airports. Well, the Department of Homeland Security recently sent some undercover agents to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. The agents had fake bombs and explosive components. So ... how did the security screeners do? In Los Angeles they failed to find 75 percent of the bombs. In Chicago they failed to find the fake bombs 60 percent of the time. But what about San Francisco? There they failed to find the devices 20 percent of the time. By the way --- the security operations at Los Angeles and Chicago are government operations. In San Francisco the security screening is handled by a private company.

Nuff said.

WE HAVE A FEW MORE ARTICLES YOU MUST READ

It is estimated that one out of every four Republican women will defect from the party and vote for Hillary Clinton in 2008. Like I said ... I wouldn't repeal the 19th Amendment .. but women voting are going to kill this country.

Looks like the government is doing a pretty poor job of finding fake bombs at some of our busiest airports.

This Florida man stole thousands of gallons gasoline using a trap door in his trailer.

This homeowner caught a man robbing his house. The homeowner had a gun. He held the robber at gunpoint and forced him to clean up the ran-sacked house until the police came. Then the robber complained to police!

WORLD WAR III

President Bush has said that Iran's ability to obtain nuclear weapons could lead to World War III. He says that world leaders that to avoid WWIII they must work with him to make sure Iran doesn't go nuclear.

Hold on a minute. What about Syria? Didn't the Israelis just bomb a nuclear facility in Syria? Let's not just concentrate on Iran here ... Syria needs our attention as well. Giving the rest of the world a little bit of comic relief, the Syrian government first admitted the raid, then retracted with a statement that sounding something like "Wait a minute, Israel couldn't have bombed our nuclear facility because, as everyone knows, we don't have a nuclear program!" Yeah, right. Saddam's scientists and equipment went somewhere. Maybe Syria is just picking up where Saddam left off.

Then there's a bit of a problem with Bush's terminology. World War III is over. World War III was the war against the Soviet Union's goals of a world at "peace" under communism. The war was, for the most part, cold .. but it was a war nonetheless. A war won, by the way, because of Ronald Reagan.

We're now in the middle of World War IV, and it isn't a cold war. This is the war against Islamic fascism. As others have said, this war is possibly more dangerous than World War III, and harder to fight, because our enemies don't care if they die. Whether they care or not, our task is to make it happen.

Meanwhile Russia just announced this week that it will help Iran with its nuclear project. So much for Russia being our ally as we slog on with WWIV.

SYRIA HAS NUKES?

As I already indicated above, now we have Syria admitting that it has a nuclear program. In confirming an Israeli air strike a high-ranking Syrian official said, "Israel was the fourth-largest exporter of weapons of mass destruction and a violator of other nations' airspace, and it had taken action against nuclear facilities, including the 6 July attack in Syria."

The document with this testimony was released by the UN General Assembly's Department of Public Information. And now the back-peddling begins ...

HILLARY AND YET ANOTHER TAX

Hillary has already thrilled Americans with several proposals for new entitlement programs this week. Let's see, we have:

  • An expanded family leave act.
  • Taxpayer-funded grants to pay people, (overwhelmingly women) who take family leave.
  • Income transfers from taxpayers to women to elect to stay at home with their children.

Now that this week's new entitlement programs are out of the way, it's time to concentrate on Hillary's tax increase proposals for the week. Here's one that she just brought up yesterday:

Hillary Clinton wants to tax companies to pay for cleaning toxic waste sites ... even if the company does not harm the environment. She's been calling for this tax to be re-imposed for quite some time, but now that she is running for president, people seem to be taking her suggestion more seriously.

Hillary says, "I think it's clear this program needs additional funding. I think reinstating the polluter-pays fee is a step we must take both to provide additional funds for the cleanups and to make the program fairer." Do you hear that, folks? We need to make the program more fair. And now, all of the sudden because it has to do with evil corporations and the environment, Hillary cares about the ordinary tax payers. She says, "Ordinary taxpayers should not pay for cleanups and that's what's been happening."

What Hillary knows, but will never admit, is that every tax levied on a business or an evil corporation is a tax that gets passed down to the final consumer of that corporation's goods or services. Thanks to the FairTax movement, most Americans are now aware of the concept of embedded taxes, and most informed Americans understand that there is only one entity in this country that pays taxes, and that is the individual. Democrats love to hide tax increases on all of us by categorizing them as "corporate taxes." It's a lie, they know it's a lie, and now many more Americans understand that it's a lie.

Many Republicans are opposed to Hillary's tax including Senator James Inhofe. He points out that the tax goes to where the money is and not where the responsibility lies.

Hillary wanted to impose this same "Superfund tax" back in the 1990s, but Congress rejected it. The "Superfund" officially ran out of money in 2003.

THIS JUST IN!

Now Hillary is proposing even more government spending sure to please the women she must have to put her in office. This time it's a $200 million subsidy for professional child care providers. The money - which we don't have, by the way - would be used to supplement the salaries of child care workers and cover other related programs.

I know it sounds like a broken record, but the experts seem to agree - if Hillary Clinton becomes President Hillary Rodham it will be because of the vote of women - especially young single women --- and most particularly young single mothers. Please note how many of her programs and ideas are aimed specifically at this group.

COLLEGE ADMINISTRATORS WON'T BE AMUSED

Yesterday I told you about a student at Hamline University who was suspended simply because he sent an email in which he stated that perhaps the Virginia Tech massacre could have been stopped if a student with a concealed weapons permit had been carrying a gun. Now this student has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.

Now we have a group of students who have come up with an idea that is sure to get some thongs in a wad. Here comes The National Collegiate Empty Holster Protest. Next week students at colleges and universities who want to carry concealed weapons on campus will be walking around with empty holsters. These students rightly note that most of the mass shootings in America happen in what we laughingly refer to as "gun free zones."

My guess? Some college somewhere is going to expel or suspend a student for wearing an empty holster.

GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS ASSUME

I actually have a hard time deciding which is worse in this case ... the government school or the parents. For over a year a government school put a boy in English as a Second Language classes because the boy was Latino. The only problem was the boy only spoke English.

The family of Alek Villaraldo is suing the Hillsboro School District in Oregon for putting their son in the classes solely based on the fact that he is Latino. The parents say that they were never notified or asked for consent to place their son into the program where he stayed for Kindergarten and some of first grade.

His mother did complain to the school, but they insisted that he belonged in the ESOL program. And what complicated the situation even more is that the boy is learning disabled.

Government experts say that errors in placement can happen because "educators" aren't fully trained to distinguish between learning disabilities and those with limited English speaking skills. "Educators" not being fully trained! Can you imagine such a thing!

Now the parents say that they are worried about their son's education ... only now?? It took a mistake like this for them to realize that they have made a mistake? They are the ones who put the poor kid into a government school. The blame is primarily theirs.

NATION OF ISLAM RALLY

Earlier this week, the Nation of Islam had a little gathering here in Atlanta. Minister Louis Farrakhan encouraged black Americans to separate from mainstream culture, and urged them to establish their own community. Isn't that separatism? Wouldn't that have been a racist statement if it had been made by a white person?

The speech, lasting 2 1/2 hours, touched on the following laundry list of disparities facing blacks: education, health care, voting and incarceration, the Jena Six case in Louisiana, last weekend's arrest of Atlanta rapper T.I. on federal weapons charges, the war in Iraq and the Michael Vick federal dog fighting case.

He then went on to criticize black middle and upper classes and white America, saying that separating from the "world of materialism and individualism" is the only way that then black community (as a whole) can progress. Do you hear that, folks? Do not try to be an individual. Do not try to rise above the rest. Do what is right for the black community, not for yourself

Louie the Loud did point out, however, that black on black crime doesn't get you anywhere: "Our people must be free. This peaceful coexistence with the murder of our people has to stop."

Farrakhan's last speech? Some say so.

REDNECK SCRAP BOOK

Another from the Romania set...you'd think they'd figure out how to attach a bin to the top for more wood so the other person could maybe sit in the car. More in the Redneck Scrap Book.

If you are collecting Social Security, your checks will be getting bigger. But guess what? More than 12 million workers will be paying higher taxes because of the increase. One of the biggest failings of the American people is that they don't understand what a disastrous program this really is, and how much it is hurting our country.

A Senate Committee voted to extend the government's terrorism insurance program through 2014. It also voted to broaden coverage to both domestic and foreign terrorism. How long before we start seeing the reports of fraud and corruption in this program?

Dick Morris seems to think that Mike Huckabee is the last survivor for the Christian right. If the religious right is on the ropes, the wounds are largely self-inflicted. Morris, by the way, will join us in studio today.

Nancy "Saboteur" Pelosi blamed the demise of the S-CHIP on "hate radio." Remember, dear readers, that liberals aren't allowed to mention conservative talk radio without using the "hate" word.

Oh darn. Al Gore has officially stated that he is not going to run for president in 2008. Drat.

Texas Governor Rick Perry has endorsed Rudy Giuliani for president in 2008. Despite the fact that they disagree on abortion, Perry says that he believes Giuliani will appoint Conservative judges. Rick Perry, by the way, is an Aggie. It's good to see someone recognize that abortion politics in the next election is only going to bring us disaster ... disaster in the form of Hillary Rodham.

The Guardian's Neil Clark says that "The true heroes in Iraq are those who have resisted the invasion of their country." Keep reading, folks ... there's more.

A spokeswoman for President Bush says that Mexicans do not want to live in the United States, they just want better jobs. That, my friends, is a crock. Many so-called "immigration activists" plainly state their belief that the Southwestern United States, from Texas to California, belongs to them. They see themselves as a liberation force. Technically it may be true that they don't want to live in the "United States." As soon as their invasion succeeds they'll rename the conquered territory the "Republica del Norte." Read all about it right here!

Apparently guns in the West Bank are getting pretty pricey because so many people are scrambling to arm themselves.

A lawn company in Nebraska has pleaded guilty to harboring illegal immigrants and manipulating their pay so that it didn't have to report them.

Hugo Chavez's power lies in the oil industry, and he will use Citgo as a means to wield his power in America.

Did you know that 2008 will be the "International Year of the Potato"? The UN must be awfully busy these days.

A Muslim couple in Malaysia caused a five-car pile up after they tried to speed off from police. Why were they speeding? Because the police caught them making out. Better to run from the cops than to be stoned to death I suppose.

Who knew? Apparently Dick Cheney and Barack Obama are distant cousins - eighth cousins to be exact ... but who's counting?

More outdoor smoking bans. This time from Oakland, California.
