With every day that passes these Islamic murderers remind us of how much they want to kill more Americans ... many more Americans. Just last week Osama bin Laden reminded us of the Quran's instructions to faithful Muslims that when they encounter a "non-believer" it is their duty to either enslave him, convert him or kill him. Bin Laden's warning that Americans should convert to Islam created little stir. Perhaps we should pay attention to the alternatives.

Islamic fascists are dedicated to the destruction of Western culture. It has nothing to do with our wealth and their poverty, and everything to do with their view of the mandates they believe have been set before them by their "prophet." These Islamic murderers have far more patience in the pursuit of their goals than the American people have in the defense of our culture.

The Islamic fascists have every reason to believe that they're on a roll. Even on the anniversary of their attacks they see the party in control of our legislative branch of government working to affect a complete surrender in Iraq. They have witnessed the Democrat Party's disgusting attempts to smear and destroy the reputation of the commander of our forces in Iraq, a commander many Arabs respect for his abilities and dedication to victory. The very election of these peace-at-any-price Democrats to power was as clear a signal as can be imagined that the American people just simply don't want to fight any more. We're now ready to sit back and see what the Islamofascist world has in store for us next.

Day after day we read another story about extraordinary steps that are being taken to avoid offending Muslims. Instead of standing up to that segment of the Islamic world that prays for our destruction, we show our weakness by pandering to their hypersensitivity to anything their culture might find the least bit offensive. They parade with signs calling for the death of all non-believers and we ignore them. We print a cartoon showing their "prophet" and they riot.

We can't even get newspapers and broadcast news outlets to identify these terrorist killers as Islamic any more.

Just know this: As we wallow in our insipid politically correct stupor of sensitivity toward the Muslim world, much of that world is plotting our extinction.

We're going to wake up. The question is just how rude the wake up call is going to be.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

Didn't tune into C-SPAN to hear General Petraeus' and Ambassador Crocker's report on the progress in Iraq? Here is General Petraeus' report and recommendations. The line that most people were waiting for was: "Force reductions will continue beyond the pre-surge levels of brigade combat teams that we will reach by mid-July 2008; however, in my professional judgment, it would be premature to make recommendations on the pace of such reductions at this time."

Cindy Sheehan was arrested at the Petraeus hearing. How in the world did that woman make it that far past security? Is she not the most recognizable face of the current anti-war movement? What a ditz. I hope you people in the anti-war, peace-at-any-price-including-slavery movement are proud of this enduring symbol of your movement and your intellect.

Republicans are asking top Democrats to denounce the MoveOn.org ad that appeared in the NYTimes yesterday. The headline read, "General Petraeus or General Betray Us?" On the inside Democrats are giving MoveOn.org a silent "right on!" On the outside they'll voice some mild condemnations. MoveOn.org and their defeatist mentality is the true face of the Democrat Party, a party invested in defeat --- a party petrified over the possibility of good news from our soldiers in Iraq.

Dennis Kucinich has really done it this time. He went on Syrian television and blasted Bush and the "illegal occupation" in Iraq. Well .. I guess every organization has to have it's little nutcase. This footstool is beyond redemption.

Good. An American is sentenced to 24 years in prison for attending an al Qaeda training camp in Pakistan and then lying about it to officials. Maybe some of our good ole boys inside the walls will give him a little lesson in loyalty --- or make him their girlfriend. Whatever works.

The latest Rasmussen poll shows that Fred Thompson now leads the Republican candidates in the polls. Second is Giuliani, followed by Romney in a distant third. Come on, Fred. Show some guts. Come out for the FairTax

A school in Sweden won't let its students wear images of the Swedish flag in yearbook photos ... because it could be misconstrued as a 'political statement.' Coming soon to a U.S. government school near you. I guarantee it.

Even though I'm on vacation, I still managed to find a government outrage. They are just so easy, folks. California Senator Diane Feinstein managed to slip $4 billion worth of earmarks to help preserve the view of her Beverly Hills donors?? Read this one .. it's a true outrage using your dollars.

The American Spectator reminds us that Islam is not a race it is a religion ... so everyone claiming that 'Islamophobia' is racist, think again. Wait a minute ... did we ask these people to actually think? Sorry ... it must be something in the water down here.

Another outrage. For twenty years, the government spent money to re-populate endangered native trout in Colorado. Now they have finally realized that their study was pointless because biologists stocked the river with the wrong fish. Your tax dollars at work.

Looking forward to government-run healthcare? Why don't you ask the British how they feel about the downgrade of their hospitals and emergency services. Try not to look at their teeth while they're answering.

Apparently at the Democratic debate in Spanish, there was one important rule ... you must only respond in English (even if you can answer in Spanish). Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? Hispandering. Love that word.

For all you parents who punish your children by sending them to government schools, you may go to jail if your child misses too much school. The opposite should be true. Turn your child over to the government, pay the price.

Utah schools decided that they aren't going to honor September 11th because they "don't want to dwell on violence." Are they sure they're not dissing the memory of those who died six years ago today so as not to offend our precious Muslims?

Russia is readying itself for "Conception Day." It is scheduled nine months before June 12 - Russia's Constitution Day - so that babies may be born on that day. Question: If you're an old die-hard, Godless Communist living in Russia, who do you talk to when having sex? "Oh my Commissar!"

Hey, it looks like Democrats might have another choice for 2008. Here's what he has to say about one of his issues: "There is some concern about the U.S. Government Religions enforcements. I will enforce the U.S. Government Religions enforcement regulating its enforcements itself with its regulations pertaining to itself and according to its enforcements." Yeah, there's more where that came from. But hey, he can't be worse than Hillary, right?
