You do remember Elvira, don't you? She's the Mexican criminal alien who was deported from the U.S. once, and then sneaked back in, stole a Social Security number and then stole a job from a legal American worker. She then hid in some storefront church to avoid deportation a second time .. but was arrested and deported when she decided to emerge and become an aaaaaaactivist. Anyway ... Elvira has decided that her troubles are all the fault of the American government. She told reporters yesterday that it wasn't her fault that she came here illegally and broke the law because if the government had allowed her to come legally she would have done it that way. Oh yeah .. that makes perfect sense. It's like a rapist blaming the victim. If that woman would have just given him what he wanted, he wouldn't have had to rape her. Trust me though; there are liberals who actually buy this woman's excuse. Okay ... back to vacation mode. Two more days and I'm back!
Oh yeah, and don't forget to check back here for your daily reading assignments and other internet oddities we find to entertain you.
You know, we REALLY hope this is a joke. I mean, can you imagine letting a 4-year-old play Grand Theft Auto? Just in case you aren't familiar with the game, check out this review from KidScore. You can also watch this video of the game and make upĀ your own mind. Oh yeah, it's not safe for work.
READING ASSIGNMENTS I promised you a rebuttal of Bruce Bartlett's anti-FairTax rantings...and here it is! Oh, and someone made a new "shame on" banner just for the occasion. At 9pm tonight Bush will announce that he plans to cut at least 30,000 troops from Iraq by next summer. Nancy Pelosi says this is an insult to the American people. I'm sure General Petraeus - you know, the man overseeing military operations in Iraq - would say otherwise. Remember, though ... Pelosi is invested in defeat, Petraeus in victory. How are the Democrats recovering from the Petraeus report? Somehow Nancy Pelosi heard General Petraeus say that we would be there for at least 10 more years. Harry Reid says this is "unacceptable." And Barak Obama has "had enough." Do I need to repeat the line about Democrats being invested in defeat? Also ... perhaps a good time to remember that if Bill Clinton had done something about Osama bin Laden when he had a chance we might not be having this discussion right now. What about this, Al Gore? Over 500 scientists have published evidence refuting man-made global warming. Surprisingly, these scientists and their findings have gotten very little media attention. Could it possibly be that the media has an agenda? Good for this judge. An illegal immigrant came into his court for a civil dispute and the judge told her to "go home" and that she had "no rights in court." The ACLU says, "To throw out a request for an order of protection based on ethnicity is just wrong." Did I miss something? Is this a question of ethnicity? She is a criminal! She is in the country illegally! But ... to the ACLU ... everything is about race. The 9/11 Commission says that six years after September 11th, America is safer ... but still not safe enough. I hope Democrats read that statement and realize that pulling out of Iraq will NOT make us any safer in America. But wait - I almost forgot. The Democrat Party is more worried about what MoveOn.org has to say than what the 9/11 Commission thinks. Fidel Castro joins the list of Alex Jones and Cynthia McKinney. Fidel says that 9/11 was an American conspiracy and the Pentagon was hit by a rocket, not a plane navigated by a Muslim extremist whose sole mission was to kill innocent Americans. Here's an excellent article by Tony Blankley. The back-seat role that the rest of the world has taken on the war on terror makes them incapable of really understanding the fight we are facing and why we are facing it. Meatpacking unions are suing the federal government for conducting immigration raids because the government is "violating workers' rights." I guess they forgot about the U.S. laws that the illegal immigrants violated by coming this country. To the unions, anyone in the world has a "right" to come to the United States and work .. so long as they don't forget to join a union and pay their dues. The U.S. is stepping up immigration and customs controls. Foreign travelers will need to provide digital fingerprint, and virtually every cargo shipment will be searched. "Bout time. The Senate voted to cut funding for President Bush's test, which allowed Mexican truck drivers to operate in the U.S. Am I the only one that smells a union around here? I hope not, the smell is rather hard to miss. The government of the Anbar Province in Iraq dedicated the success of al Qaeda's defeat in their region to the victims of September 11th. It's sad that foreign nations have more respect for our men and women than many in our own country. Why can't Americans grasp this concept ... Michael Moore tries to claim that the Cuban government-run healthcare system is superior to America's. What they don't understand is that the average Cuban person does not receive the same treatment you get as a tourist, American or "privileged person" (that would be anybody BUT an actual Cuban). Here's another website that might paint a better picture. Remember, though. Michael Moore is trying to appeal to people educated by government. Easy enough. A government school system in North Carolina wouldn't let children wear any flags to school including American flags to commemorate September 11th. The school board has now rescinded the ban ... only after being humiliated throughout the nation. Good. Remember the classic Chevy that Neal donated to Care-A-Thon last year? It has been donated again and is up for raffle. Find out more here. Wow, how long before the cashier at your local fast food restaurant starts sporting these? What an odd toy? Maybe China is going to coat them in lead paint and give them to their girl children. Need a gift for that special KISS fan in your life? We've found just the thing. | ||
