Message? She's a phony; a complete phony. She will do anything to acquire power. Anything to realize her decades-old goal of becoming the most powerful person in the world. Will union supporters and members see this? Probably so. The question is whether or not they will ignore it for the sake of political expediency. For the record ... any company that plots against unionization is just fine with me. Wait. We have to slow down our economy? We must stop progress, we must slow down achievement? We have to do this so that the warmers can sleep at night in good conscience. If you haven't been paying attention thus far, perhaps now you can see that this whole global warming fraud is about more than our environment. It is not about saving the trees for our grandchildren. It is an attack on capitalism. It is an attack on individuality and achievement. It is an attack on your freedom as individuals to decide whether or not you want to put a heat lamp on the porch of your family-owned restaurant to keep your customers warm. This is absurd. Note, please, that we're getting this line of BS from the husband of our future president. If this is the way Bill feels, just imagine what Hillary would propose to "save our planet." Here's a woman that isn't all that fond of the free market in the first place. Can't you just see her licking her chops at the prospect of using the environment as an excuse to continue with her attacks on capitalism? Is some of this sinking in? Do we dare hope that some of the unmarried females who make up her power base are starting to have some second thoughts?
You just can't believe some of the amazingly stupid email I've been receiving from true pedigreed idiots over this airplane-on-a-treadmill bit. OK .. now put away all rational thought. Try to imagine that you are absurdly ignorant and that you haven't had a rational thought since third grade. You're going to have to adopt this mental state to understand the argument that is being presented by people who were dismayed to see the airplane take off. Ready? Here we go. They're saying that the Mythbusters guys cheated because they allowed the airplane to move relative to the earth. Yeah ... as hard as it is to accept, there are actually people out there who are so dismayingly stupid that they think that the rules of the game were that the airplane would not be allowed to roll forward when the propeller started turning. How can our country survive this level of stupidity?
Why do I say radical Islamic sympathizer? Because Lekovic goes as far as to defend Osama bin Laden. She was the former managing editor of a Muslim publication at UCLA. As an editor, the paper published an editorial praising and defending Osama bin Laden. It said, "When we hear someone refer to the great Mujahid, Osama bin Laden, as a 'terrorist,' we should defend our brother and refer to him as a freedom fighter; someone who has forsaken wealth and power to fight in Allah's cause and speak out against oppressors. We take these stances only to please Allah." And that's just the beginning, folks. Remember ... this is YOUR taxpayer money that is being spent to pay this Islamic goonette to speak at one of our taxpayer supported universities. Not only your money, but spent by the very agency that is supposed to be protecting us from people like Edina Lekovic. I would like to see every one of the presidential candidates weigh in on this one ... .sooner rather than later.
An 80-year-old man, retired from the Special Forces, was on a trial of his peers for "failing to use a weapon of sufficient caliber" in the shooting of an intruder who broke into his home in Knoxville, TN. OK ...let's review. The guy, Smokey Taylor, is 80. He is a retired Special Forces Weapons Sergeant with extensive combat experience during Korea and Vietnam. An intruder breaks in and threatens him with a knife. What does Smokey do? Shoots him right between the eyes with a .22 caliber pistol. The only problem is that the bullet bounces off the intruder's head. It knocks him down and he goes crawling out the door and down the street where Knoxville police apprehend him. So now Smokey has been brought before a trial of his peers. The charges? He should have saved the county and taxpayers the expense of a trial for this creep. You see, Smokey could have used a .45 or .38 and the intruder would have been DRT. But he was acquitted of all charges and given a round of applause. Don't ya just love it? Let's chip in and buy this stud a .45. Panhandlers in Ottawa (that's in Canada) have decided that it is a fundamental human right to get a good night's sleep. The Ottawa panhandlers union - yes, they actually have a union - has hired a lawyer to fight a fence that the City of Ottawa erected in a downtown pedestrian underpass. The city put up the fence to stop the great unwashed from sleeping there. The union argues that the fence threatens the safety and security of many homeless people who rely on the underpass for shelter when it is cold. They argue that the poor are citizens too and are therefore guaranteed the right to safety and security. This is the argument that they plan to make to the Canadian Human Rights Commission. Oh God, here we go with this Human Rights Commission again. How long until we get one of those in this country? The residents of Wimberley, Texas are protesting the Texas "share-the-wealth" program when it comes to their government schools. Wimberley is one of more than 160 high-wealth school districts that are required by law to share their property tax revenue with other districts. The law was passed in 1993 after a series of court orders said that the government had to "equalize the wealth." But residents and teachers are insisting that this is causing their own schools to suffer with insufficient pay for teachers and dilapidated facilities. Wimberley sends an estimated $3.1 million in local property taxes to the state for this share-the-wealth program. That's one sixth of the district's total revenue. Now the vice president of the Wimberley school board says that they are no longer going to pay the state. He says that it's unconstitutional and he will go to jail if he has to. The state education commissioner says they will dissolve the Wimberley school district and force the students to attend school in a neighboring district, if Wimberley withholds the funds. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? These Wimberly wimps should be withdrawing their funding of schools altogether. The answer here is private schools. Just withdraw entirely from the government school system. Lower your school taxes as far as the courts will permit .. and then start putting the rest of your money where your mouths are ... private schools.
Forbes Magazine has published a list of America's most miserable cities. Before we get into this story any further, here's the actual list: 1. Detroit, MI 2. Stockton, CA 3. Flint, MI 4. New York City 5. Philadelphia, PA 6. Chicago, IL 7. Los Angeles, CA 8. Modesto, CA 9. Charlotte, NC 10. Providence, RI Forbes defines misery as a state of great unhappiness and emotional distress. Forbes used criteria such as unemployment, taxes, commute times, crime, pollution and weather. Now you can draw your own conclusions by looking at the list of cities above .. but with only a few exceptions from the list ... I think that I've noticed some commonalities. Strong union presence, for instance, and liberal politicians. Just something for you to think about. REDNECK SCRAP BOOK Okay, you've got to admit, this is kind of funny. Boy we are amassingquite the collection of rednecktattoos, aren'twe? More in the Redneck Scrap Book. READING ASSIGNMENTS
Ann Coulter will campaign for Hillary??? A senior al Qaeda terrorist was killed in Pakistan yesterday. Let's have a moment of silence ... or appreciation for the person who sent this Islamic prepuce to his sand nap. Ok, after my rant yesterday about poverty, many of you want to know where in the heck I got all those statistics. Don't believe me? See for yourself what it means to be "poor" in this country. The National Journal has ranked Barack Obama as the most liberal senator in Washington in 2007. Wow! Let's make him president! The Department of Transportation has decided that the Oakland Airport did not break any laws when it denied 200 Marines access to the passenger terminal during a layover last year. Here's a better look (thanks to Michelle Malkin) at this "temporary" extension of unemployment benefits that has been crammed into the economic stimulus package. This is some great news. The amount of money being sent back to Mexico hardly increased in 2007. We can all celebrate when more Mexicans and less American dollars are crossing the border heading South. Top Republicans are upset with your tax dollars funding the purchase of carbon offsets. A US Senate report has recently been released that debunks the fears of polar bear extinction. Hawaii is going to censor a cartoon because it is offensive to native Hawaiians. Oh yeah! We have to use the law to protect people's sensitivities, don't we? Gary Hilton, the man that killed Georgia hiker Meredith Emerson pleaded guilty to her murder and is now serving life in prison. I want to wake up one morning and hear that he has been raped and murdered in his cell. Yeah ... that's just the kind of guy I am. A judge in Brazil has ruled that a group cannot have a float for the upcoming Carnival celebration with a Holocaust theme and a dancer dressed like Hitler. The Irish are being asked not to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on March 17th in Cleveland, Ohio because of the Easter holiday. A mother is upset because she bought a book called "Happy Bunny" for her 8-year-old daughter that turned out to have "disturbing" messages. She even complained to the publisher. Here's a clue lady ... return the book. Nobody forced to you buy it. A neighbor of a local government school called 911 because she thought a NASA rocket was sitting on the roof of the school. Undoubtedly she was educated in that very school. | ||
