| Wednesday, February 27, 2008 Looks like I've wasted quite a lot of time here. This research I've been collecting on Hillary is going to go to waste. It's hard to see a way that Hillary is going to get this nomination, though things might (not really) be different after next Tuesday. What fun it would have been to host a talk show with Hillary out there as the MoveOn Democrat candidate for president. The lies, the dishonesty, the complete disdain she exhibits for people she feels are below her ... which is about everyone. That idiotic sham marriage she has to a rapist. Campaign finance scandals, her pro-government, anti-business philosophy. What fun it was going to be. Looks like we'll need to start gathering the info on Obama. Actually, we've already started. Here are just some things to consider:
And that's just the beginning .. looks like we need to crank things up.
Like this for example. How many of you can tell me the effects of Obama's plan to end the social security tax cap? How many even knew that this was one of his policies? Here's an example of a successful lawyer ... that would take the equivalent of a $34,000 pay cut if Obama's plan to end the cap (and the Bush tax cuts) was in place. Sure, you can argue that this will only affect those evil rich people, but we've seen how those evil rich people can affect a lot of people around them if forced to cut back.
OwlGore has got to get a new job ... it seems as though we have essentially erased global warming over the past year. All four major global temperature tracking outlets -- Hadley, NASA'sGISS, UAH, RSS - have released data showing that global temperatures have dropped big time. The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75C. Those values are large enough to nearly erase all the warming records set within the last 100 years. It's the fastest recorded temperature change in history. Some link this cooling to the reduction in solar activity, which is a larger driver of climate change than greenhouse gases. But wait a minute ... at this rate, cold is actually more deadly than heat. Are the warmers starting to panic yet? Trust me ... if we start to see the development of a trend to cooler temperatures the anti-capitalist world is going to figure out a way to use that trend to fight capitalism and work to effect a transfer of wealth from countries who do it right to countries who don't.-
It is being called the Iraq Campaign 2008, and it will include advertising, anti-war events, and lobbying efforts to end the war. There will also be a $750,000 "Bush Legacy Bus" that will tour the country. This bus will have an exhibition of Bush's "greatest hits of the failure of the Bush administration" including the war, Hurricane Katrina, the economy, and healthcare. The bus will stop in front of offices of legislators who supported Bush's policies. And as for the message ... Elizabeth Edwards says that if the economy is your number one issue when you go to vote, the war should be number one too because there is a connection between the two. Hold on a minute here. What about illegal immigration? What about the Mexican invasion? How much money are we spending dealing with the millions of illegals that people like MoveOn.org and the Edwards family have welcomed into this country with open arms? The fact is illegal aliens cost our economy more every year than does the Iraq war. Try $338 billion a year! Here is a series of links to stories that will detail the cost.
(Link not active ... was not able to verify this information) Total cost is a whopping... $338 BILLION A YEAR!!!
His campaign hopes to wean government employees off of the Spanish translations of words such as "staff," "marketing," and "password." Other words are "mouse," "meeting," and "sponsor." All of the literal translations of these words are being forced out of the Venezuelan vernacular. Chavez's campaign has printed stickers and banners declaring "Say it in Spanish. Say it with pride." This idiot is so whacked-out ... it's going to be fun to watch the collapse.
Turkey has decided to revolutionize Islam by reinterpreting the Hadith, which acts as a guide to interpreting the Koran. The goal is create a radical renewal of the religion ... one that is designed to serve the needs of people in modern secular democracy. This Turkish project argues that Islamic tradition has been hijacked by various cultures that only wanted to use Islam for social control. Leaders of this "Hadith project" say that generations of interpretations have embellished the text, often attributing political claims to the Prophet Muhammad himself. So this is the proverbial sweeping away of the "cultural baggage." The project wishes to return Islam to its original values and those of the Prophet Muhammad. Here's an example of what they are doing. Some messages, as they are interpreted today, ban women from traveling more than three days without their husband's permission. But this, apparently, wasn't for religious reasons back in the day of Muhammad. It was simply a safety issue. The temporary ban became a permanent message from Muhammad because the people believed it. Now there is no telling what this modern version will say of jihad "in the name of Allah" or the Jews or what should happen if a teacher decides to name a teddy bear Muhammad. Who knows .. maybe we're seeing a truly positive development here. Well, not really. But since the local TV station is so absolutely sure there's one out there, we thought we'd make one up for them. Have at it!

This came up on the show today too...and it's not an urban legend! What's the most unusual place you've ever had the urge to make whoopie? Check out this woman's answer. From Tony Blankley ... How to (maybe) beat Obama. Dick Morris says that the best evidence Barack Obama has shown that he could lead a nation is "the ability with which he has run for president." Is Bill running for president again? He let this one slip while making a speech for Hillary. Senate Republicans have agreed to a bill that would cut off money for Iraq and allow additional time to debate. In case you missed it, here's our favorite moonbat Cindy Sheehan in an interview with Al Jazeera. Here are some great graphs that give you visual representation of the troop surge in Iraq ... that isn't working, according to liberals. The real problem with this reading assignment is that liberals won't read it. John Stossel speaks another truth .... Guns save lives. Rep. Diane Watson has declared Washington D.C. to be a "chocolate city." This is a woman that will always have a racial chip on her shoulder. She has a very good future in New Orleans ... and the sooner she moves there the better. The total cost of healthcare spending will double by 2017. That's more than $4 trillion a year or one of every $5 America spends. A report commissioned by the U.N. has declared that Palestinian terrorism is the "inevitable consequence" of Israeli occupation. Glad the U.N. could clear that one up for us. Ahh ... here's what we need to do! Put an anti-competition political party in power! Yeah, that ought to work for us. The British Foreign Secretary has declared that rich industrialized nations must pay for poorer countries to have cleaner technologies in order to fight climate change. The sun has other ideas. Pennsylvania is using $300,000 of your tax dollars to pay for a campaign to convince you that the Pennsylvania Turnpike should not be privatized. A town in California has to declare bankruptcy because it has a $6 million shortfall. Ironically, if you read the comments to the article, the citizens seem to believe that the unions and their contracts with the government are the root cause. Reforms in North Carolina to improve treatment for the mentally ill have ended up costing taxpayers over $400 million in services that are way over priced ... that's ten times more than expected. But hey ... it's a government program. You didn't really believe those early cost estimates, did you? Some cushy government bureaucrats in New Jersey are going to be a little upset when their governor gives them the boot because the state is way over budget. A man in Florida has been charged with animal cruelty after he yelled at a police dog. I mentioned this yesterday, but Gennifer Flowers is putting the tapes of her recorded conversations with Bill Clinton up for auction. The photo smear continues! Now it's time for Hillary in a hijab ... are you ready for the outrage? And now for your mindless amusement ... a Top 10 list (in no particular order) of some of the most excruciating stings and bites nature has on offer ... | ||
