| Wednesday, January 2, 2008 Sorry, I'm not in the mood for all of this Happy New Year nonsense. This is getting to be about as phony as the 4th of July. (Freedom ... right. Like the people of this country are still in love with the idea of liberty.) This is 2008. This is an election year. We're choosing a new House of Representatives, about one-third of the Senate and a president. This is not the type of New Year you launch with the traditional expressions of optimism. We're in trouble. An election is coming in 11 months and millions of parasites, led by single females, are getting ready to accelerate the destruction of the concepts of individuality, private property rights, self-reliance, and this very country by putting a hideous, power-hungry, big-government socialist* into the White House. I think I've made a bit of a mistake over the past few months. Trying to be a bit to nice to the people I think are destroying this country. I've been trying to cut them some slack .. be a little understanding. You know, the compassion thing. Well, something must have clicked during the last two weeks off. No more free passes. Identify the leeches. Call them out. They're destroying the greatest system of governance this world has ever known, and they should not be allowed to go unchallenged. If you squandered every opportunity for an education to end up an unemployable semi-literate loser, that's your problem, not mine. If you've destroyed your health with cigarettes and fast food ... then by what right do you demand that people who lived their lives more responsibly than you cover the cost of your medical care. You cry about your "right" to health care. You dare to claim a right to the services of another human being to correct problems you created for yourself? Further, if it is more important for you to spend your money on a cell phone, flat-screen televisions, the best new car, meals at expensive restaurants and fancy vacations than it is to spend your money on a health insurance policy .. then you should be on your own. Don't beg the government to steal from someone else so that you don't have to change your lifestyle. And a word for you welfare brood mares out there. That's right .. welfare brood mares .. it's time for someone to call you out for what you are. Perhaps one of the greatest social wrongs a person can commit in this country is to have a child that you cannot afford to care for. Do you really think that it's perfectly OK for you to get yourself knocked up, download your baby, and then tell the taxpayers "Hey, look what I did! Now you folks cough up the money I need to take care of this child." Yeah .. that's what America is all about .. and you're going to be right there in November to vote for Hillary, aren't you. In fact all of you are: the uneducated and unmotivated, the "I'm not responsible for my own health care" crowd, and the single moms. All of you want someone else to step in and take care of you after you've screwed up your own lives, and who better than Hillary, a woman more than ready to use the police power of government to reward you for your votes.
You do know, don't you, that you have absolutely no constitutional right to cast a vote in this presidential election. No .. you probably don't know that. That would mean you are educated, but you're not. You were educated by the government ... and the government sure isn't going to disclose that inconvenient little fact to you. Somehow the media in this country has bought the politician's about this "right to vote." It's not there. Doesn't exist. And to save this country we need to figure out a way to get tens of millions the parasite class off the voter roles. Welfare? No vote. Illiterate? Stay home on election day. Begging for the government to be your lifetime nanny? Let the doers, the achievers cast the votes. Just stay away. Historians have said that this country will start to slide when the people learn that they can vote largess for themselves out of the public treasury. Well, you've learned, and now you're heading to the polls later this year to vote for government as an instrument of plunder .. plunder for you .. plunder to pay you for your votes. It's all about you, your wants and needs. Look for the politician who promises to transfer the most wealth from the achievers to you ... and that's the politician who gets your vote. You don't care even a little bit about the type of America you'll leave generations to come ... it's all about you, right now, right here. Don't you have some soap operas you need to catch up to on election day? * About that asterisk. Current language usage compels me to use the term "socialist" when describing Hillary Clinton. The actual word we need to use is "fascist." The left, however, has managed to take the "fascist" word and turn it into an epithet against right-wingers. Nazis were fascists, right? Perhaps you might be one of the few to learn that "Nazi," in German, is "Nationalsozialismus." The true name of the Nazi Party in Germany was the National Socialist German Worker's Party." German Nazis weren't at all fond of capitalism .. and neither is Hillary Clinton. When it comes to the free market Hillary has quite a lot in common with these folks ... not that you'll ever read that in the mainstream media. Well, let's make that two phrases; and here they are:
Both of these oft-used phrases have something important in common. They are terms of art used by the left to belittle the concept of individual achievement. Sadly, millions of Americans repeat those words not knowing the motives behind the. In the case of "giving back" the premise is that those with wealth did not earn it through hard work and good decision making. They were given that wealth. To suggest that someone should "give back" is to imply that whatever they have was given to them. You can't "give back" something that wasn't "given" to you in the first place. Charity is to be commended; but when you give away some of what you've actually spent a part of your life acquiring you're "giving," not "giving back." As for "the less fortunate," the use of this phrase implies that those without means are victims of bad luck rather than their own laziness, bad work ethic and a dearth of good decisions. To imply that the poor, poor pitiful poor are where they are simply because they weren't "fortunate" is to suggest that those who find themselves in good financial shape were merely lucky. What a convenient way to denigrate the idea of individual achievement. The left can tell you through this "less fortunate" nonsense that you were merely lucky, and those sad poor people were simply unlucky. The left is only evening the odds when they take your stuff and give it to them. Look for me to do some big-time whining in 2008 whenever I hear these noxious phrases.
Why is this even a big story? This woman gets on the bus with her little girl and is heading for church. She starts reading the Bible to her child on the bus. The driver asked her to stop .. she refused .. and was kicked off the bus. Now we are being asked to believe that this amounts to a "Bible Ban?" What we really had here was a rude woman who decided that any laws applying to creating a disturbance on a bus simply didn't apply to her .. because she was reading the Bible. She could have been reading The FairTax Book, for what I care, and if she was violating a policy and was asked to pipe down or leave .. then she should either pipe down or get the hell off the bus. Now this has become a "reading the Bible" story ... a story of religious persecution. From what I've seen of this woman on TV over the last few days, she's a royal pain in the nether regions anyway. Hopefully she'll go away soon.
Here's the deal. Sgt. Mike McNulty, USMC, was getting ready to go back to Iraq for his second tour of duty. He went to visit a friend in Chicago . Since the entrance to the one-way street on which his friend lived was blocked, Sgt. McNulty went around the block and backed in to his friends place. When Sgt. McNulty was leaving he caught this worthless piece of crap lawyer gouging deep scratches in his car with a sharp object. When he caught Grodner in the act, Grodner made some negative remark about McNulty's license plates .. plates that made a reference to his military service. He then reportedly made other anti-military remarks to Sgt. McNulty. Sgt. McNulty called the cops. Here, from www.blackfive.net, is an excerpt from that report:
Now it would seem that this lawyer is using every trick in the book to make sure that Sgt. McNulty can't successfully prosecute him for the criminal damage he did to McNulty's car. You can read the story right here. What a scumbag. But I'm going to do this lawyer a favor. Perhaps you have a legal problem in Chicago . Maybe you want a lawyer who would do almost anything. Maybe decency doesn't matter to you. Maybe you're a MoveOn Democrat and you just loathe the American military. If so, Jay Grodner is the lawyer for you. As a public service ... here's how you contact him. Jay R. Grodner I'm sure he would like to hear from you if you need legal representation. He might have lost a few clients over the past month. By the way ... that Internet address was good about 36 hours ago .. now it doesn't seem to be working that well. It's 2008 ... the year of Hillary Clinton's election. Did you happen to catch her Christmas commercial over the holidays? You can watch it here. Universal healthcare and tax breaks for the middle class ... all presented as simple a little packages under the Christmas tree. Yes, Virginia. Hillary believes in Santa Clause ... in the form of big government. That way her gift-giving doesn't cost her a dime. Who pays? You, that's who. Merry Christmas. Now bend over and grab your ankles. This is just another disturbing example of how Hillary views government as the very reason for the greatness of America . This dangerous woman believes that government is the solution for every problem. When in doubt, the solution is always more government. The private sector has no role whatsoever to play, nor does freedom. Just remember, when she puts universal healthcare under the tree, she isn't doing it because she cares about you. She is doing it because it gives her more power. Now ... are all you single women out there ready to vote? Hillary holds the lead right now in Iowa!
Democratic Senator Jack Reed of Rhode Island opened the Senate and immediately adjourned it until January 3rd. Only one Senator is needed to keep the Senate in session. Harry Reid decided to keep the Senate open in order to prevent Bush from making any recess appointments. I'll guarantee that if the situation were reversed, and the Republicans had pulled this on Bill Clinton, all hell would have broken loose on the left. We'll talk to Jaime Dupree today and see what he has to say about the Democrats' antics over this Christmas vacation. Watch him come up with an example where the Republicans did, in fact, do the same thing. Nothing would start out Jamie's year quite so well as nailing me on this one. This is a Happy New Year message for Democrats and Ron Paul supporters ... here come the emails. Violent civilian deaths in Iraq in December were down 75% from one year ago. By the way, the Paulistas are a bit upset because he has been shut out of an upcoming debate. Just a suggestion ... turn some of that grand Internet money into actual support in the polls and maybe you'll get a little respect. Great Britain 's Gordon Brown is celebrating the 60th birthday of the National Health Service. He is doing so with a new NHS constitution, which will have a bill of rights to establish the "rights and responsibilities associated with an entitlement to NHS care." Well right away you can see why that statement is inherently flawed ... entitlement. But moving on, Brown is asking for people to lose weight and give up smoking in exchange for "rights to healthcare." Oh yeah ... let's just sit around and wait for Brown to start denying health benefits to people who actively work to destroy their own health. No ... the taxpayers will keep on footing the bill. Why we should pay the tab for self-inflicted injuries, I don't know. Such is the essence of government force. The constitution is said to reinforce the Government's commitment to patient choice and emphasize targets to cut maximum wait times to 18 weeks. That's almost five weeks just to see a doctor, folks. And that is their GOAL. Brown has rejected the idea of an independent NHS because he believes that health services need to be held accountable to parliament and ministers. In other words ... government knows best and can make decisions for the people. All of this is coming soon to our own country. A new Arizona state law went into effect yesterday to crack down on businesses hiring illegal immigrants. First time violators who knowingly hire illegals will get a 10-day suspension of their business license. A second offense means that businesses lose their license. The law also requires employers to use an online federal database, called "E-Verify," that allows businesses to check employment eligibility of new hires in border states . You might be interested in knowing that in anticipation of this new law going into effect, many illegal aliens have been self-deporting. That is as it should be. It looks like quite a few people out there received copies of "Somebody's Gotta Say It' for Christmas. Here's some emails.
Can you still order a copy of the book? Of course you can! Here's your link! REDNECK SCRAP BOOK Is there anything sweeter than Grandma? More in the Redneck Scrap Book. AND THE YEAR'S FIRST READING ASSIGNMENTS The big winner in Iowa politicking? None other than Santa Claus! Are you kidding me? Parents don't realize that their kids are fat? Can't they look at those blubbery folds in their arms, their fat little faces? Talk about denial! The blind pig theory at work. Atlanta Journal-Constitution editorial page editor Cynthia Tucker gets it right about the drug war. Oh, to be sure ... she manages to play a racial angle, but that's just Cynthia. We've come to expect that. Everything with Cynthia has a racial angle. Ralph Nader, former Socialist candidate for president, has thrown his support to John Edwards. That's about all you need to know. You would think a socialist would be behind Hillary. Australia is imposing more government regulations on websites in order to "protect the children." Isn't it amazing how many things governments do to violate basic freedoms in the name of protecting the children? According to this story, the Iowa caucuses make it hard for many voters to participate. This is actually a good idea, as long as it is made difficult for the right people. Welfare recipients, functional illiterates, and people who can't pass a basic test on American history. The Liquor Commission of Hawaii is offering "free" (that means financed by taxpayers) kits to parents so they determine whether or not their child has been drinking. Oh boy. Now white folks get better drugs in the emergency room than black folks. Next week we'll bring you a study which says that white folks are more likely to have their steaks prepared to order than black folks. The week after that? Who knows? Are you one of those who just loves to bitch and moan about "greedy" corporate executives making the big bucks? Well, you sure don't want to read this Walter Williams column. It might have a negative affect on your status in the wealth envy contingent. Calexico, California school officials have hired a photographer to take pictures at the city's border crossing and compare them to pictures of children attending Calexico government schools ... to make sure that students are actually US residents. Dennis "I saw a UFO" Kucinich says that the voters should support Barack Obama as their second choice for the Democratic nominee. A United Airlines flight was diverted after federal air marshals charged a man with groping a woman on the plane. This is for OwlGore ... parts of the US and Canada celebrated the New Year with snow and freezing temperatures. Cindy Sheehan was busy on New Year's Day, protesting at the Rose Bowl parade. She, sadly, was booed by the crowd. So this is good news? Only 372 cars were torched by [Muslim] youths in France on New Year's Eve ... this was apparently a "relatively calm" night. A Pakistani cleric says that he wants Islamic law for all of Pakistan and the world ... and will use force to see it happen. Just remember ... Benazir Bhutto was not assassinated because of her Western ways. Nope. That would be too logical. She was assassinated because she was a woman. Now, if the female who wrote this article would explain why Islamic monsters murder so many men ..... but that's a bit much to ask for I guess. A slice of pork was found inside of a mosque in India. The incident was naturally followed by a march and protests and a call for "action" against whoever committed the heinous crime. I'm wondering if they locked down the mosque. They lock down government schools when someone breaks a thermometer ... so why not lock down a mosque when someone tosses a piece of pork inside? A 64-year-old man managed to battle three men who broke into his house ... while he was having a mild heart attack. A new study shows that people who buy into gym memberships are wasting their money. There are two types of workout facilities: (1) Where the women do their hair before they work out; and (2) Where they wait until after the workout to spruce themselves up. A 16-year-old working at a McDonald's was shocked when she got sick at work, went into the bathroom and popped out a baby. The girl says didn't know she was pregnant. It doesn't say so in the story .. but you gotta wonder how fat this teenager is. Probably eating that crap she sells. | |||
