| Monday, July 14, 2008 HERMAN CAIN FILLING IN Neal Boortz's favorite fill-in, Herman Cain, will be taking over Neal's show while he is out
today. You may not know he also has a weekday show of his own 7pm to 10pm every weeknights on News/Talk 750 WSB in Atlanta.
Herman Cain has a talent for cutting through and teaching you. He'll inform and entertain you on topics near to his (and your) heart-- Taxes, Government Incompetence and Waste, Campaign 2008--in Georgia and the Presidential Campaign, Immigration, The FairTax, Terrorism, and the economy. 'The Hermanator' will expose media bias--on a local and national scale. Listen...you just might learn something. You can call in to the show today as usual, or email comments to Herman here. BOORTZ' BRITISH INVASION It's a British Invasion -- in reverse! The Talkmaster is visiting London, and then Dublin this week, at the request of the U.S. State Department. Why? Boortz has been invited to talk to foreign journalists to explain the impact of Talk Radio on the American Election! Neal explains it all here. Catch his show live from London Wednesday and catch his many updates as he calls in the rest of the week and posts updates here in the Nuze. READING ASSIGNMENTS The Karachi Kids documentary information. Tony Snow passed away this weekend at the age of 53. Our thoughts are with his family. It is official ... Cynthia McKinney is the Green Party nominee for president. President Bush is considering withdrawing additional troops from Iraq starting in September. Pakistan's top diplomat has decided that the United States cannot search for Osama bin Laden in his country. Obama is trying to "clarify" his comments that he is embarrassed that Americans are bilingual. Sen. Jim Inhofe says that the Environmental Protection Agency has gotten too powerful. Amen. Speaking of the EPA ... the agency has decided that our lives are worth $900,000 less today than they were 5 years ago. The EPA? A judge overturned a US Forest Service decision to allow oil and gas drilling near a forest in Michigan ... the judge overturned it because the agency did not adequately evaluate how drilling might affect the Kirtland's warbler, an endangered songbird. Governor Schwarzenegger is upset that the Bush administration does not believe in global warming. And the problem is ... Take a look at the many things we have to blame on global warming ... according to Rep. Edward Markey, a Democrat from Massachusetts. This outta be good. The ACLU is trying to overturn a Florida law that bans university researchers from traveling to countries that are listed as terrorist nations. That's your tax payer money that pays for these trips. The organizers of the Democrat National Convention are trying to explain all of their "green" rules including no fried foods at the convention. An Ocala woman armed with a .357-caliber handgun chased two intruders from her home ... unfortunately this is not a DRT story. Remember the 13-year-old girl that was strip searched at her government school because they thought she had ibuprofen? A divided court decided that was unconstitutional. In Australia they have a new child protection curriculum, and part of the curriculum is to give children safety messages after they read fairytales warning them not to copy the characters. Gallery of nerds. Oddly enough, I don't think any of these were staged in mom's basement. Clever or childish, you decide. | ||
