| Monday, June 23, 2008 HERMAN CAIN FILLING IN Neal Boortz's favorite fill-in, Herman Cain, will be taking over Neal's show while he is out
today. You may not know he also has a weekday show of his own 7pm to 10pm every weeknights on News/Talk 750 WSB in Atlanta.
Herman Cain has a talent for cutting through and teaching you. He'll inform and entertain you on topics near to his (and your) heart-- Taxes, Government Incompetence and Waste, Campaign 2008--in Georgia and the Presidential Campaign, Immigration, The FairTax, Terrorism, and the economy. 'The Hermanator' will expose media bias--on a local and national scale. Listen...you just might learn something. You can call in to the show today as usual, or email comments to Herman here. RIP GEORGE CARLIN Oh man, the world just got a little less funny. Here's a video of classic George talking about the 7 words you can't say on TV. Do I need to say NOT SAFE FOR WORK? I shouldn't but, there it is for those of you who have lived under a rock all your life. READING ASSIGNMENTS Herman Cain wanted you to have a look at this AJC editorial: Drilling Down On Oil. European officials think that Obama's plan to talk directly with Iran without preconditions could upset relations with our European allies. The House passed the FISA bill on Friday that protects phone companies from lawsuits for participating in the government surveillance program. Barack Obama has devised a plan to crack down on oil speculation and restore "common-sense regulation." North Korea's Kim Jong Il has made his pick for the US president ... I bet you'll be shocked by who he is supporting. Obama said that the Republicans can't win a campaign based on their conservative policies and will instead resort to playing the race card to get people not vote for him. Tom Brokaw will be filling Tim Russert's seat on "Meet the Press" through the November election. Hillary Clinton is in worse debt than previously reported ... $22.5 million. Congress is now second-guessing themselves ... trying to figure out whether it was unconstitutional to ban incandescent light bulbs. In case you weren't aware, we have yet another thing to blame on George Bush: the recent salmonella outbreak. Federal regulators are suing a sub-prime credit card company for profiling its customers and reducing credit limits for people who use the card at bars, marriage counselors, pawn shops ... you get the idea. When a novelist says that he "despises" the peaceful, loving religion of Islam ... that's grounds for an investigation for a "hate crime." Here's an article that explains how you can double your income by becoming a leach to society. A sex offender used another man's address to register with authorities. Now the guy living in at the registered address is demanding $200,000 from the city to make up for the mix-up. Scotland is convinced that Wikipedia is responsible for an increased number of students failing their exams. Men listen up: a study by the US Department of Energy and General Motors found that 88% of women are more interested in a man who owns the latest fuel-efficient car versus the latest sports car. | ||
