Who said it? Some character named John Adams, back in 1814. It was in a letter he wrote. Too bad we aren't listening like we should. Then again ... considering the state of government education in this country, it's a shame that so many people don't have any idea who John Adams is. We all know that we're witnessing political mass hysteria in the BarackObamamania that is sweeping the nation. How much of this is actually being fed by the media? We have a study out there which shows over the past few months that 84% of all media stories about Obama have been positive in nature. For Hillary that figure was in the mid-50s. Agenda, anyone? If Hillary wins Texas and Ohio, this means that she has won a "diverse set of states from coast to coast, north, south, east, and west, red and blue." Examples would be Texas, Ohio, New York, California, Massachusetts ,Arkansas, Tennessee, New Mexico, and Arizona. If Hillary wins Texas and Ohio, Hillary did it as the underdog and that makes her wins bigger. That makes her a giant killer. Obama spent more, his allies spent more, and they all have already declared the race over. And yet Hillary was still able to overcome these obstacles. If Hillary wins Texas and Ohio, this means that Obama can't compete with the Hillary campaign on "who can be commander-in-chief, who can be a steward of this economy, [Obama] can't compete with John McCain on these issues." In other words, Hillary can compete with McCain and Obama cannot. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad decided to take a little trip to Iraq. This is the first time the Iranian president has visited Iraq since the 1980s. And Mamoud the Mad took the time to tell the United States to get out of Iraq and the Middle East. He says that US presence there has brought only destruction and division. Isn't that sweet? He's one to talk. Meanwhile, the U.N. has really stuck it to Iran ... or not. The U.N. Security Council has approved a third round of sanctions because of Tehran's refusal to suspend its uranium enrichment program. This time, the resolution bans trade with Iran for goods that are used for civilians and the military. Tell me the last time a U.N. sanction meant squat ... and then I'll show you how grateful I am that we have this corrupt excuse for a worldwide political body that wants nothing more than to strip the US of its power and redistribute wealth around the world.
The problem began when Sampson tried to read the book in the break room when he was off duty. His American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees shop steward said that reading a book about the KKK was "like bringing pornography to work." At a different time, a coworker, who was sitting across from Sampson in the break room, said that she found the Klan "offensive." Meanwhile, nobody cared to hear his explanation of what the book actually covered. Weeks later, Sampson was ordered to report to the university's Affirmative Action Office. A coworker had filed a racial harassment complaint against Sampson for reading the book in the break room while in the presence of Black employees. Following the Affirmative Action Office's investigation ... here's what they had to say: "You demonstrated disdain and insensitivity to your coworkers who repeatedly requested that you refrain from reading the book which has such an inflammatory and offensive topic in their presence ... you used extremely poor judgment by insisting on openly reading the book related to a historically and racially abhorrent subject in the presence of your Black coworkers." According to "the legal 'reasonable person standard,' a majority of adults are aware of and understand how repugnant the KKK is to African-Americans ..." Now if Sampson wants to read the book, he must sit apart from his coworkers.
Despots like Hugo Chavez need enemies ... external enemies they can cite in their efforts to keep their own populations under tight control. Chavez is moving tanks to the border ... is a war in the offing? Well, such a war would have one thing going for it. It wouldn't involve Muslims .. and in today's world, that would be a rarity. This is the new term the New York Times is using to describe those environmental whack jobs that set fire to four luxury homes in Seattle. These model homes were even said to have been built "green" (in order to be more politically correct.) But that apparently didn't matter. Because remember, the environmental movement is not really about protecting the environment - after all, these houses were said to have been built with an environmental conscious. The environmental movement is a wealth-envy and anti-capitalist movement. It is people who are so irate over the fact that others are more successful and can afford to build beautiful mansions in the suburbs of Seattle. The Times, however, doesn't even recognize the existence of wealth envy in our society.
Here is a government educated woman, who wanted the government to take care of her children ... while she watched American Idol. Sheila R. Brooks is 25-years-old. She has five children. There is no mention of the "baby daddy" in this story ... only that Sheila left her two youngest children in the bathtub and they nearly drowned, as she was watching American Idol. REDNECK SCRAP BOOK Oh, so THAT'S what makes a bird dog a bird dog. More in the Redneck Scrap Book. READING ASSIGNMENTS
McCain said that Russia's presidential successor Dmitriy Medvedev "would not pass the smell test in any functioning democracy." I know you are going to be shocked to hear this one ... Ohio Muslims unite behind Obama. Here's an interesting look at the economic differences between Texas and Ohio, going into the primaries today. Israel is accusing Iran of actively backing and supplying arms to Hamas. Iran is thinking about blocking private Internet access during the upcoming election on March 14th. Illegal immigration has taken a bit of a backseat these days ... but here's a reminder of how illegals are affecting our country. Reuters gets the prize for moonbat headline of the day: Inspired by God, Hamas fighters battle on. Michigan schools expect there to be 25,000 fewer students to be enrolled in government schools by 2011. That will save the taxpayers $190 million annually ... but I'm sure politicians will find a way to spend that money. A man saw his property taxes increase by 1,531%. He says it's because he refused to sell his property to the Chief Deputy Assessor. In Malaysia, they are using dogs to help locate pirated DVDs. The two labs will become the world's first permanent, national anti-piracy canine unit The list of architectural landmarks participating in this insipid "Earth Hour" is growing by the day. I mentioned this video yesterday during the program. For those of you who missed it ... check out this landing. Yikes. | ||
