| Wednesday, March 26, 2008 HERMAN CAIN ENTERTAINS YOU TODAY Neal is out this week, but today we'll have Herman Cain in keeping you abreast of the news that matters and taking your calls. IS THERE SOMETHING IN THE WATER IN TAMPA? What is up with Florida? Seriously, why do there seem to be so many cases of female teachers sleeping with male students? Apparently Tampa has had 3 cases discovered in the last two weeks. READING ASSIGNMENTS It is about time the mainstream media caught Hillary Clinton in a lie ... this time it is about the Bosnian sniper fire (or lack thereof). Watch CBS expose her story and then see her try to explain it. Ooooo, this is fun! If you want to get riled up today ... read this liberal version of how Republicans view Barack Obama. Just in case you weren't aware, conservatives have launched a "hate-based" campaign against Obama. Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan is upset that his successor is not anti-American enough. That's the UN for you. Here's some not-so-breaking news ... Social Security and Medicare are facing enormous financial challenges. Make of this what you will ... A one-year investigation and analysis of 235 countries found that the US ranks 22nd on a list of the most stable and prosperous nations. A Teachers Union in the UK says that all government schools should allow imams, rabbis and priests to offer religious instruction to students. There is one group of people excited about gas prices in California ... lawmakers, who are trying to figure out how they are going to spend all of this sales tax revenue. One of the many "victims" of global warming was said to be frogs ... until someone actually decided to challenge that claim. An Oregon-based hotel chain is no longer putting Bibles in the nightstands. Instead, you will be offered a "spiritual menu" where you can also order the Book of Mormon, the Quran and books on Scientology. A man donated $28 million to colleges around the US, with the stipulation that many of them offer Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" as required reading. A principal of a Minnesota government school decided to cancel a visit from decorated veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan because he thought it would be "too political." Two seventh grade government school students were expelled for a year and a half for touching a BB gun that a friend had brought on the bus. A Sorority at the University of North Dakota is on probation after hosting a cowboy-themed party where people showed up dressed as Indians. A discrimination complaint was filed by American Indian students. A government school art teacher in Orlando may not get his permanent teaching certificate because he is dyslexic and can't pass the state-required math exam, which requires him to answer question at a 10th grade level (he's at a 5th grade level). As if the world didn't have enough Muhammads, an Arab businessman is offering a hefty prize for any parents that give birth to a child in the upcoming week and name their child Muhammad. What isn't offensive to Islam? Try a Muslim boxer who wears the English flag on his boxing shorts. The number of Muslims worshiping in mosques in the UK will officially surpass the number of "traditional churchgoers" within the decade. | ||
