| Tuesday, May 27, 2008 JURY DUTY That's right...the Talkmaster has jury duty today. Voir dire ought to be mighty entertaining in that courtroom today! Don't worry. We aren't going to leave you hanging. Herman Cain will be taking over the show so you can call in and talk about Hillary's foot-in-mouth outbreak going into this past weekend. READING ASSIGNMENTS Dick Morris has a message for Hillary: There is no prize for second place. The White House was upset over a New York Times editorial that appeared in yesterday's paper. Apparently Fidel Castro is not a fan of Barack Obama, saying Obama's speech on Cuba last week was a "formula for hunger." Al Sharpton told Hillary to watch her mouth after her comment on RFK's assassination. Bill Clinton still believes that Hillary can win the nomination. Thank you Jimmy Carter for promoting the fact that Israel has 150 nuclear weapons. Here's a look at the future of our country: A woman spent five days on a stretcher waiting to get into a Toronto emergency room. When the mayor of a town is pulled over by police, you can expect those officers to be demoted ... or suspended. Teachers at a government school in Florida now have the authority to check students' cell phone text messages and pictures. I'm just going to continue to post these stories until you become outraged ... this is another fatal car crash at the hands of a drunk illegal alien. Civil rights leaders are upset with the Bradenton Police Department in Florida for stopping walkers for not using sidewalks or walking on the wrong side of the road. A 14-year-old was arrested after blowing a kiss to a police officer. By the way, this was the same Bradenton Police Department. We are getting more stories of shark bites. Now the Mexican government wants to investigate whether or not the sharks are attacking because of global warming. What is the media trying to teach our kids about carbon footprints and the environment? Here's what one ABC Kids' website has to say. A teenager in Great Britain has been fined for littering after releasing a balloon into the air during a charity event. Muslim gangs are taking control of prisons in Great Britain, largely because jail workers have to handle Muslims with kid gloves in order to not offend them. Sweden is now considering using tax payer money to fund the education of Muslim imams. How much of your tax dollars are paying for these fancy sports stadiums? Your government spending. The state government of Pennsylvania says that the Amish cannot have outhouses for their schools. This mom can't figure out why her daughter was suspended from school after wearing a t-shirt with "69" on it. A soldier in Great Britain who had a sex change operation has now been awarded $500,000 for getting her feelings hurt after she was ordered to wear a man's uniform to a medical exam. After 150 years, the government of Great Britain has now decided to cut down a tree because its spiky needles could hurt someone. How about a new "outdoor adventure" to teach Mexicans how to cross the US border. | ||
