VENTING

One great thing about The Chosen One ... that would be that Jesse Jackson has been relegated to a back-bench role as a minor race pimp. Can you imagine how depressed this race baiter is to see the success of Barack Obama?

Speaking of The Chosen One? Have you ever heard of a presidential candidate as a weapon before? I'm starting to see a real patter in the email to the Boortz Show; threatening email. Generally the line goes something like ... "You people (the evil rich) just wait until Barack Obama is president .. then we'll take care of you." Well, yeah. Right now I fully expect Obama to become our next president, thanks to the immaturity of the American voter .. and I fully expect the evil, nasty, disgusting rich to come under full attack from many fronts when that happens. Let's just see how that works out for us.

I don't know if you caught this or not, but some writer of one of the columns featured in yesterday's reading assignments made the observation that Nancy Pelosi was much like Tom DeLay ... but without the charm.

A lot of people are voting early in this election. So .. what happens if one candidate or the other really messes up or reveals themselves over the next four weeks? Can you change your vote?

Massive voter fraud happening even as we speak in Ohio. Anyone out there paying attention? Did you hear about the rock concert at Ohio State? Now which presidential candidate do you think has arranged for a concert at Ohio State and then plans to march all of the students from the concert to a voter registration table and then immediately to a voting booth? If you have to guess on this then you haven't been paying attention. Do you think there will be any check to see if these people are actually eligible to vote? Yeah ... sure there'll be a check.

GUEST TODAY

Today at 10:35am ET, Neal will talk to John McCain's economic advisor, Tim Kane. He has twice served as a senior economist at the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress.

align="right" width="20" height="13" border="0">VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE

The debate is tomorrow night. The moderator is Gwen Ifill. The moderator has a financial interest in Barack Obama winning in November. How can I say that? Because Ifill has a book due out around inauguration day. Here's the Amazon.com link for Ifill's book titled "The Breaktrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama". Take a look at the publication date. January 20, 2009. Now what happens to Ifill's book if Barack Obama is not sworn in on that day? Easy ... it doesn't sell. So could someone please tell me why she's moderating this debate when clearly she has a financial interest in making Sarah Palin look bad?

align="right" width="20" height="13" border="0">THE BAILOUT RESCUE PACKAGE

John McCain says that the bailout plan failed because the American people were not convinced that this is a "rescue effort." He says, "We haven't convinced people that this is a rescue effort not just for Wall Street but for Main Street America."

So this is how this works? You change a word and suddenly everything is OK? Several years ago government spending became "investing." The politicians would tell us that they aren't really spending money, they're investing it. Oh! That's different! Investing is good, right? So you folks go ahead and invest our taxpayer money ... that's just fine with us!

It's looking like McCain is going to head to Washington today so that he can vote on the "rescue" bill. When McCain casts that vote Obama will cheer. In fact, the entire Obama camp will cheer, for it will be over. It will be time for Obama, and the person who will sit to his right in the firmament of Washington, to start putting their transition teams together.

The people have spoken, and they do not want to bail out these financial institutions that went brain-dead for so many years .. and they don't care if you call it a rescue or not. Trust of government is at a pathetic - though justified - low. We have a congress with an approval rating lower than MRSA that is going to use government as an instrument of plunder to bail out people who made stupid decisions - people who richly deserve to fail. As some bright person said, we're in the process of privatizing profit and nationalizing losses in the financial community.

Now why do I feel that the so-called "credit crunch" is being a bit overstated? Well, to listen to the rescuers you would think that there is no money available to lend out there. Not so. If you have a good credit history; if you have job stability; and if you're not trying to borrow 100% of the price of a car or a new home, there are people out there ready to loan you money today. If you have no income, no job stability, haven't paid your bills on time, and you want to borrow too much - no loan for you. That is the way it is supposed to be folks!

How does McCain take the advantage here? How about siding with the taxpayers and against Wall Street. How about telling the people that in a McCain Administration we would reward success, not failure.

I don't pretend to be an expert on all matters financial ... but it doesn't take much imagination to see that this will just be the firs of many such bailouts. Financial institutions today, our auto industry tomorrow. Then who? And why not a break for people having a tough time paying back student loans? Oh .. and then there's the credit card industry. Much bad debt there. When do we bail them out?

We have heard the outcry from constituents who do not want a bailout to happen. As I said, this is a revolution ... and it is about time. But where are the voices of the people who whole-heartedly support a bailout? Do these people realize the power that it gives to our federal government at the expense of the taxpayers? And this is a plan proposed by the Bush administration!

Why not fall back and try a few things first. Increase the FDIC insured limit, end mark-to-market accounting rules, repeal Sarbanes Oxley, eliminate capital gains taxes for a specified period. Give them a try before you socialize America' financial institutions.

BEST MUG SHOT EVER!

This may well be the best mug shot ever. Here's the back story.

align="right" width="20" height="13" border="0">FYI

John McCain says that the Bush administration has the ability to bypass Congress in order to begin dealing with this financial crisis. The Treasury has a trillion dollars that the Bush administration could use, without congressional authority, in order to buy mortgages and begin to stabilize the situation.

align="right" width="20" height="13" border="0">YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME

Considering everything that we are experiencing, and knowing the reasons why we have gotten to this point - the government forcing private institutions to increase homeownership for people who couldn't afford it in the first place - now we get this ... at a time when our financial market is supposed to be in "crisis," when the taxpayers may have to shell out billions of dollars to bailout financial institutions in this country we get this little news release:

September 30, 2008

"Citi and the Citi Foundation presented a $1,000,000 grant to the National Council of La Raza ... These affiliates help advance opportunities for individuals and families through the asset building, housing and community development programs ...

Expansion of NCLR's Latino Social Venture Fund which provides pre-development support for affordable housing, community facilities, health care clinics, charter schools, and homeownership counseling."

La Raza "The Race", folks. This "Hispanic advocacy group" calls for the secession of a Hispanic-only homeland. Note, please, the reference to "affordable housing."

align="right" width="20" height="13" border="0">THE FUTURE OF AMERICA

We received many emails to Nealz Nuze yesterday ... Webguy and Cristina pointed out that a lot of you were outraged by this video. It's called "Sing for Change Obama" and it is a group of 5-12 year olds singing about how Barack Obama is going to change the world and spread happiness. Here are just a few of the words so that you can sing along ...

We're gonna spread happiness
We're gonna spread freedom
Obama's gonna change it
Obama's gonna lead 'em

We're gonna change it
And rearrange it
We're gonna change the world.

align="right" width="20" height="13" border="0">SO WHAT DID CONGRESS GET DONE ON MONDAY?

It has come to our attention that the House didn't completely fail on Monday when the bailout bill was defeated. They did manage to approve a resolution, by unanimous vote, to commemorate Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal

Thank you Rep. Barbara Lee.

align="right" width="20" height="13" border="0">MORE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN!

Just the other day I was thrilled to hear that Bruce Springsteen will be performing at the Super Bowl. (Yeah, right). Well now it gets even better! Bruce is going to be performing at a benefit concert for Barack Obama and the Democrat National Committee in New York City.

align="right" width="20" height="13" border="0">BOY HAVE I BEEN GETTING A LOT OF HATE MAIL LATELY

Subject: racism
Name: Milt
You are obviously the most racist person in this country because no one could be so paranoid about Obama unless he was. You do everyone a disservice by thinking you know exactly what Obama would do as president. And just because he had some connection with some group in the past does not mean he still does. I personally have 25 friends who will never listen to you again because of your constant obsession with Obama. You are parinoid and contribute bigtime to the us/them attitude in this country. Who don't you so something constructive for a change.

Feeling the love here .. and you will feel it as well. Remember, there is only one reason to not support Barack Obama, and reason would be that you are a racist.

READING ASSIGNMENTS

NEW BOOK!

One of Neal's favorite artists, Steve Penley, has a new book coming out in November, The Reconstruction of America.  Advance, autographed copies are available through Linstrum & Matre Artworks.

Don't I feel special! Reuters actually mentioned my name in the same article as Rush Limbaugh: Talk radio holds firm over "socialist" bailout.

How does this bailout compare to the ideals of Karl Marx? You'd be surprised. Then again, maybe not.

Hillary Clinton says that if we don't pass a bailout bill, "there is a risk that commerce could grind to a halt." That is complete, absolute horsesqueeze.

Both Barack Obama and John McCain have proposed raising the federal deposit insurance limit from $100,000 to $250,000.

We have a gas crisis here in Atlanta, and the Governors response ... let's release a significant amount of crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Sorry, Sonny ... wrong answer too late.

Here's Thomas Sowell on the mortgage crisis that fueled this meltdown. The same politicians who were once championing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are now those who are trying to come to a government "solution" to this crisis.

A Libertarian from Harvard who says that there should be bankruptcy, not a bailout.

Democrat Ned Lamont compares the affects of the financial crisis on Greenwich, Connecticut to Hurricane Katrina.

The Service Employees International Union paid millions of dollars to people with family ties to the labor organization's top officers.

Just yesterday we gave you a list of various voter fraud stories related to Barack Obama's ACORN. Here's another from St. Louis.

Finland had a terrible school shooting a couple weeks ago ... the immediate response is for the government to tighten the rules on gun permits.

Yet another report that says we must ration meat and milk in order to help combat climate change.

Which presidential candidate believes in lifting the ROTC ban at the Columbia University? I'll give you a hint, they both do ... but the students seem to prefer Obama's stance. Wait, what?

Yesterday and today, the Empire State Building has been lit up in green to celebrate the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Haven't we already been through this? New York City Council members are asking the state to give NYC government school students days off for two Muslim holidays.

This Fox News Reporter can't count. I suppose that depends on your definition of "split."

Here's another installment Katie Couric's interview of Sarah Palin.

They tried to ban it, but it's back! Burning Down the House: What Caused Our Economic Crisis.
