NO .. OBAMA DOESN'T HAVE IT "IN THE BAG."

I know, of course, that this election is not over until the polls close on November 4th. Some of you may be right. Perhaps I have been a bit negative ... but when you look at the polls and consider the advantages God's Candidate has, it's hard to be optimistic. But can McCain win? Sure he can .. but there are some things that are going to have to happen.
  1. Don't even think you're going to change the minds of black Americans on this one. They're going to vote for Obama .. and that is that. So, what else is new? Black America has been in the tank for Democrats for quite some time now.
  2. A lot of voters are going to have to get a lot more familiar with Barack Obama. There going to have to realize that he is a man with limited experience - very limited - who has wonderful oratorical skills and not much else.
  3. Since most Americans work for small businesses - owned by the very people being target by Barack Obama for tax increases - they're going to have to realize that voting for The Chosen One might actually put their job in jeopardy. See my advice to small business owners below.
  4. Voters will have to ask themselves whether they are voting for a candidate they truly know and understand, or if they are merely following the MoveOn-Media-led herd off the cliff.
  5. Voters are going to have to see through is lies and half-truths. His latest effort to lead voters astray is his statement that 95% of privately-owned businesses don't earn $250,000 a year. While that statistic may be right, it is completely meaningless. If you understand that, you won't vote for Obama. If you don't, you will.
  6. Additionally, voters will have to realize that in the end businesses - and that means all businesses - don't pay taxes. The collect the taxes from their customers and pass them on to the government. Sometimes they collect the money needed to pay taxes from their employees, by firing them and keeping all of the money, or by denying them their next pay increase.
  7. Obama-bots are going to have to suddenly realize that character does count for something, and hanging around with unrepentant terrorists, America-hating preachers, corrupt politicians and crooks does say something about one's character.
  8. They'll have to understand that Michelle Obama meant it when she said that she was never proud of the USA until her husband became a front-runner for the Democrat convention.
  9. More voters will have to realize that America is great because of the dynamic of a free people working together in economic freedom with a basic set of rights guaranteed under a constitution establishing a rule of law, not because of government. McCain understands this. Obama doesn't.
  10. They'll have to understand that government is force. Chose carefully those to whom you would give control over the police power of government.
  11. Maybe seeing that Argentina has just seized all private pension plans might wake some people up. Who knows?
  12. Speaking of corruption ... voters will have to understand that Barack Obama has had many opportunities in his political life to take a stand against government corruption. Not ONCE has he ever stepped up to the plate.

There's much more, but you get the idea. Yeah, Obama could lose. But he has the media totally in the tank for him ... and a government educated voting population poised to go to the polls. The odds aren't good.

START NOW TO OBAMA-PROOF YOUR SMALL BUSINESS

I talk a lot on the air about making escape plans in the event Barack Obama becomes president and starts to enact some of his anti-business agenda. Fine. But what should those escape plans consist of?

Today's lesson in developing your escape plan will revolve around your small business. By small ... we're talking up to a few hundred employees working for a partnership, Sub-S Corporation, LLC, or simply a sole-proprietorship.

Start now to reduce the number of employees. Now I'm NOT saying to reduce the number of workers .. just the number of employees.

Do you have any real idea what Barack Obama has in store for you? Well, there's higher taxes, of course, but consider also his plan to eliminate secret ballots in union elections. This will one of the first bills out of the MoveOn-Democrat congress, and since Barack Obama is currently a sponsor, you can bet it will be signed quickly. Small businesses around the country are going to suddenly find themselves unionized.

Have you considered the Family Leave Act and other government regulations of the employee-employer relationship? Though it hasn't been a campaign issue, you can count on the Democrats reducing the threshold of employees needed to be subject to the act, and you will soon have to pay these people a portion of their salary not to work; maybe all of their salary.

There is one way around several of these headaches that are sure to come with an ObamaNation. Temporary staffing agencies. Don't hire your employees. Use a temporary staffing company instead. Temporary doesn't necessarily mean temporary. When it comes to clerical help and many administrative duties in your workplace, as well as people like warehouse workers, machinery operators and others, you can find a temporary staffing company near you who can provide the workers (not employees, workers) you need.

Here's the advantage. These people don't work for you. They work for the staffing agency. You don't pay them. You pay the staffing agency. You don't have to provide them with benefits like health insurance. That's up to the staffing agency. They can't unionize your workplace. You simply change staffing agencies. When a worker becomes a problem you don't have to jump through all sorts of legal hoops to fire them. Just tell the staffing agency to send someone else. The problem worker works for the staffing agency, not you. When your taxes go up you can simply tell the staffing agency that increased costs are going to lead to cuts, either in the number of their people working for you, or in the amount they're charging you for these people.

So, there's your step one. As soon as Barack Obama becomes president-elect start talking to staffing firms in your area. Reach an arrangement with them and you can start cutting jobs - and headaches. Don't feel bad about those you let go. Chances are they voted for Barack Obama and they're just getting what they so richly deserve anyway.

In other Nuze we'll talk about shipping some of your jobs overseas. For now, it sounds like a pretty good time to be in the temporary staffing business.

JUST IN: Looks like she was a liar after all.

THE PITTSBURGH LIAR

Apparently some of you weren't listening to my show today.  Last night while I was preparing my notes for the Ashley Todd story ... the girl that was supposedly attacked becasuse she was a McCain Supporter ... I inserted a line in my notes which expressed doubts about the truth of the story.  I took that line out of my notes.  My bad. But by the time I went on the air at 8:30 Eastern I was of the opinion that the story was bogus ... and Royal and I talked about just that.  So ... earlier today I was getting emails from people telling me I was evil for suggesting this girl lied.  Now this afternoon I'm getting email from people saying that I'm evil for not suggesting that she lied.  You just can't win, can you?

LET'S TELL THE WHOLE STORY HERE

I was VERY disappointed in listening to Charles Krauthammer last evening on Special Report. He was talking about Eisenhower-era tax rates, and correctly reminding people that back then the top tax rate was 91%. What he didn't say, and I kept waiting for it, was that back when the marginal tax rates were so high you had many many more deductions you could take on your tax forms. It's not the marginal tax rate that counts. It's how much of your gross income you have to fork over to the feds that counts.

So, out of the blue, the Georgia Public Policy Foundation comes up with a chart that shows the effect of these high marginal tax rates. In 1980 the highest tax rate was 70%, but the top 5% of income earners were only paying 35% of all income taxes. Now the highest rate is 35%, and the top 5% are paying 60% of all income taxes. Here's your chart.

19802006
Highest Federal Income Tax Rate 70% 35%
Share of Taxes Paid by Top 5% 37% 60%
Share of Taxes Paid by Top 25% 73% 86%
Share of Taxes Paid by Bottom 50% 7% 3%

How in the world could Krauthammer now understand this?

DON'T WORRY, OBAMA WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS

The United Nations has released a report on income disparity around the world. It found that major US cities like New York, Atlanta, New Orleans and others have levels of income inequality that rival cities in Africa.

Here's a real shocker ... the most "balanced" city in the world is Beijing. Gee, do you think their communist government has anything to do with it?

Another part of the report found that one of the key factors in determining levels of income inequality in the United States and Canada is race. I'm sorry, this is not a matter of skin color, this is a matter of culture, folks.

But don't worry. The Marxist we are about to put into the White House will make sure that this gap is closed between the achievers and non-achievers.

Re-education centers. "Eliminating" die-hard capitalists. Just another day in the life of the Weather Underground. Bill Ayer's Weather Underground. The documentary, by the way, is from 1982 ... but don't worry, Barack Obama was only about 20 years old when this documentary was made.

JUST TRYING TO HELP THE CHOSEN ONE

Here, just cut out this nifty little box and have a bunch of these printed up:

Dear "Server"

We truly have enjoyed having dinner at this fine restaurant, and your service has been exemplary. However, we have been inspired by the words of Senator Barack Obama and have decided to "spread the wealth around." We have paid what we owe here, but we'll be giving your tip, which you probably don't really need anyway, to one of the less fortunate at some freeway exit ramp on our way home this evening.

Best regards. Your grateful customers.

AND THE EMAILS KEEP COMING IN!

This we do no editing for misspelled words ... just let 'em rip! This time I thought I would submit a response:

When you decide to go shopping for your next white hood and robe, I am sure the RNC and Sarah Palin can help you on your shopping spree!
Yeah, you got it Kevin. Just because I don't support Barack Obama means that I'm a hood-wearing Klansman. Typical Democrat. Government educated fer sure. Neal.
Subject: To the Undecided Voter

Message:
Your verbose and self-aggrandizing letter to the "Undecided Voter" basically whines about what it will be like when one party controls all three branches of government. Well your Republican/Corporatist/Fascist party has done that for most of the past two decades, and look where it got us.
Bottom line: you can dish it, but you can't take it. Apparently you think it's OK to have a one-party government - as long as it's your party. Hypocritical schmuck.
Nice to hear from you Kirk! Tell you what ... we would love to hear back from you with a definition of "fascist." There is, of course, the possibility that you are just another ignoranus MoveOn-Democrat that tosses around words you have no hope of defining. I see you're anti-business as well. We're just sure you work for a poor person. Neal.

Very persuasive interview with Cavuto on Thursday afternoon. Your assessment about what's happening to the market is absolutely correct. Many of us are moving our money out of the market to avoid what Obama and his friends have in mind for us. This one is a no-brainer. I've worked since I was a kid at any job that I could find, got an education on my own, saved, managed and earned my way to a comfortable living. Higher taxes to support those who don't pay taxes? Not at my expense!
Blush. Thanks for the note. I need to be reassured that there are some people with an ounce of sense out there. Neal

Neal, much of stuff you put out is pretty stupid, but one minute i'm cursing you,and next minute you have me cracking side with laughter. Neal, i'm a registered Democratic and proud of it,but i love this country as much as you or anybody else. You and all your blowhard friends seem to think we want to shut you up,not true. The freedom of speak is the cornerstone of our republic and anyone who try to stop it i stand against, so i stand with your right put out all the nonsense that you put out, but please be careful about inciting people to violence.
Nice to know that you don't want to shut me up. Did you hear about the thug that carved a "B" into a 20-year-old woman's face because she had a McCain bumper sticker on her car? I feel bad because I must have incited this animal to do that. Neal
Subject: You
Name: John
Sir quite simply, you are a jerk. You, Hannity and Ingrahm have managed to change me from a life long Republican to a middle of the road leaning towards Democrat. You all spend 95 % of your time trying to knock down Sen. Obama instead of spending all of your time building up Johnnie Mac.
It is beyond my belief that you and those other two maniacs, in their heart of hearts, believe that Ms. Palin is qualified to govern this country.
Your real argument should be against the Republican Party who spent their way out of power and to this day do not realize they will never see the majority again until they return to something resembleing Mr.Reagans ideas. The Democrats, inspite of failing so badly in the last two years, are likely to pick up even more seats to get to a veto proof, fillubuster proof majority.
Ms. Palin is certainly more qualified than Barack Obama. Come on now ... your hero has never in his entire political life done one single thing to fight corruption in government. If you think I'm wrong, just make your case. Oh, and you're right. I am a jerk. But what the hell ... it's a living. Neal.
Subject: How sad
Name: Karen
I can't believe that you actually hinted that Barack Oboma is a Communist. I've heard terrorist, socialist but not this.
It is small minded people like you who fuel the fires of hatred in America....hoping that through fear tactics you will take the election away from Obama. Well I've got news for you...the people who are voting for Obama are tired of this kind of men spirited politics.
I am a 54 year old small business owner. I started my own business 35 years ago and have struggled for every penny I have earned. I make enough money that Barack's tax plan will raise my taxes. I am more than willing to give up my share to help those less fortunate than me. In the long run the redistribution of wealth will help everyone in America.
The only people who benefited from Bushes tax cuts were the wealthy...while the middle class and poor slipped farther behind. That is a travesty and we as a country SHOULD CARE.
PS I don't hate you. I feel sorry for you!

"From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs." Some character named Karl Marx wrote that. He could be Barack Obama's campaign chairman. I'm so very glad that you care. What a stud you are. You just take care of the "less fortunate" with your money, and don't try to use the police power of government to take what's mine. It's nice to note that you use the tired old MoveOn-Democrat "less fortunate" term. Golly, and I thought you "struggled for every penny you have earned"! I guess the truth is that you were just lucky. Neal.
