| Tuesday, September 16, 2008 NEAL'S OUT, HERMAN'S IN Neal will be off for a couple of days. But we'll be adding fresh reading assignments and other goodies to keep you from getting any work done. And on the air, Herman Cain takes your calls about the important topics of the day. BOORTZ POWER LUNCH! Atlanta area folks, tickets are now on sale for the next Boortz Power Lunch September 26th. Get all the info here. READING ASSIGNMENTS Barack Obama released an ad saying that John McCain is out of touch with the American people because he can't use a computer. Looks like the Obama campaign forgot to do their research and find out why McCain can't use a computer. In light of the recent news on the economy, Barack Obama says that Wall Street is in crisis because of the Republican Party. Looks like the Chosen One is bringing his teleprompter on the campaign trail. Not surprising. You've seen what he does without one. The Democrats want to spend another $50 billion on an economic stimulus package. Joe Biden caught flack for this comment he made in North Carolina on the campaign trail about the meaning of electing someone who is black. Just a small note ... check out the difference between John McCain and Barack Obama's reaction to the "grim news in the financial sector." Wow, a columnist with the Boston Globe actually gets it. Here's what he had to say on Obama's "neighborly" tax policy. Here's a report from the Washington Times that says John McCain has a more bipartisan record than Barack Obama. Governor Palin says that as Vice President she will focus on energy, government reform and finding cures for diseases afflicting children and families. More voting Americans believe that Joe Biden has what it takes to be president compared to Barack Obama. Joe Biden is really trying to pin John McCain to the Bush Administration, labeling him "Bush 44." The DNC bragged about its carbon offset program. Too bad it only raised $20. Yes, seriously. A college in Great Britain has renamed its Christmas and Easter breaks because they don't want to offend students of other religions. Now bad teenage driving is being blamed on ... you guessed it ... ADD. While white-water kayaking in Australia, a man decided to break his lower leg in order to save himself from drowning. And now ... not one, but four two-legged Chihuahuas. This dog is smarter than some people we know. Has Fox News gone all mainstream media on us? What'll we watch now? | ||
