It's been a while since we have had a Democrat do some name-calling. Yeah .. every bit of a day or two. How long ago was it that these kind, gentle, peace-loving lefties were calling ObamaCare protestors Nazis, brownshirts, mobsters, terrorists .. you name it. Those were all directed at protestors who dared to show up and show their dissatisfaction for the massive growth of government the Democrats are proposing. Maybe the looters are getting upset that their name-calling isn't having the desired effect on the target of their venom. So .. why not start slamming members of their own team? Let's turn the stage over to California Democrat Congressman Fortney "Pete" Stark. Pete is upset with so-called "moderate" Democrats who aren't going along with ObamaCare. He says they are "brain dead." He also accused them of following the money; they are just doing it so they can get campaign donations from insurance companies.
Here's the quote. He says, "They're for the most part, I hate to say brain dead, but they're just looking to raise money from insurance companies and promote a right-wing agenda that is not really very useful in this whole process."
So now the liberal Democrats are getting so desperate that they are shaming members of their own party for promoting a "right-wing agenda."
Yeah .. I know, it's the evil right-wingers who are supposed to always be stooping to the nasty name-calling and ugly rhetoric. That's the conventional wisdom. But just check into websites like Democraticunderground.com, Media Matters and ThinkProgress to see what gems come from Democrat keyboard whey they're talking about Americans who don't see eye-to-eye with them on the size and intrusiveness of government.
