The Queen and I spent Monday night in the home of some friends in Something-or-other, Florida. Our hosts were justifiably proud of their new digs and delighted in showing us around. Super ... now, when you go to the drive-in teller at your bank do you ever put your deposit into one of those little plastic containers? Then you stick it into this tube and it is literally sucked over to the teller. Right? You do know what I'm talking about here, don't you? Well ... and I know you aren't going to believe this ... but our friends had one of those contraptions in their home. Thing is ... it wasn't designed to move documents and stuff. It was designed to move people. No kidding! You step into this clear plastic capsule .. just large enough to hold one person ... and it takes you to another area of the home in a plastic tube powered by nothing but air pressure. Amazing.
Just thought I would share that one with you.
