From Florida! Rick Scott has taken the Republican nomination for Governor from the pollsters and from Bill McCollum. This is a victory for an accomplished businessman over a career politician. Now .. if Scott can just get through the general election it will be interesting to see him stir the puddin' in Tallahassee.
Oh ... and there's Alaska as well. Incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski is trailing a political neophyte, Joe Miller. Miller had the backing of Sarah Palin and the tea party. We'll wait to see how that one works out!
