ARROGANCE OF THE POLITICAL CLASS

Previous Posts

By Neal Boortz

The arrogance of our political class is astounding. The leader of this pack has emerged and that would be Joe "Recovery Summer" Biden. He may be vice-president .. but that certainly doesn't cure him of being a world class jerk. This man is parading around the country, boasting about government spending projects while ordinary people still can't find jobs and businesses are cowering under the bed afraid to stick their necks out. Not only is he boasting about all of the fabulous government projects that have been funded by our tax dollars, but he continuously demonizes the evil rich in the process. Listen to how backwards this man's thinking is .. this is from the Cato Institute:

Biden repeatedly stated that the "government plants the seed and the private sector makes it grow." Because the government possesses no "seeds" that it didn't first confiscate from the private sector, what the vice president is advocating is the redistribution of capital according to the dictates of the Beltway. This mindset exemplifies the arrogance of the political class, which at its core believes that free individuals are incapable of making the "right" decision without the guiding hand of the state.

Who is he confiscating that money from? Rich people. This is why he continues to harp on ending the Bush tax cuts for the evil, filthy, disgusting rich. Guess what, Joe? The last thing that this economy needs right now is a tax increase. The rich included. Don't believe me? Why don't you pick up a copy of the Wall Street Journal? Take a look at the recent article about millionaires turning pessimistic about investing. These are the same evil rich people who are creating jobs and investing in businesses - the same people that you want to "grow your seeds." These people are reverting to a "bearish frame of mind" for one reason and one reason only: Washington. Seriously! From the WSJ: "A quarter of all millionaires cited politics as the news story most affecting their economic outlook. Unemployment was less important, as was 'the economy' and 'stock market conditions.'"

If these idiot career politicians would stop working against wealth and start working to foster wealth, we would be in a lot better shape than we are right now. But that plan requires government to relinquish its precious power. Rulers are all about power. Don't count on that happening anytime soon ... at least until November.
