Ok ... back to this. I just can't leave it alone. Why is Barack Obama holding a health care summit today instead of a jobs summit? It's all about his basic wiring. Obama is wired for a more powerful central government and a weaker private sector. Remember, this is a man who referred to the private sector as "the enemy." He knows that when the jobs start coming back they will show up in the private sector. He's already expanded government employment enough at this point. He realizes that jobs growth will empower the private sector. That's not his goal right now. His goal is to strengthen and empower government. Seizing control of America's health care system will do just that. Now you might point out that Obama's present plan doesn't exactly constitute "seizing control" of our health care system. You would be right. Here we have Cloward-Pivin at work. His plan - the Democrat plan - will actually do more to destroy our present health care system than it will to improve it. That's the goal. Once the Democrat's wondrous health care plan is instituted - and once it produces absolute chaos in health care - the Democrats will be there to fix things up; to fix things up with even more government involvement, government ownership and government control.
