A year ago, the Obama administration implemented a $75 billion program to help homeowners. It is known as HAMP - Home Affordable Modification Program. But based on a report released by two GOP lawmakers on the House Committee on Oversight and Government reform, this HAMP program is actually harming the country's economic recovery. The lawmakers determined that homeowners who participated in the program and failed to secure permanent modifications would be actually find themselves in a better position today if they hadn't participated in the program.
Well you must know that the government has a solution for this mess. Force. Yeah .. didn't you see that coming? Force is always the government solution. In this case the idea is to force all homeowners facing foreclosure to participate in HAMP. The Obama administration would ban all foreclosures on homes unless they have been screened and rejected by the government's HAMP "or reasonable contact efforts have failed."
OK .. so I go out and buy a nice video camcorder. It's a Canon HF21A. It comes with some software for the 'puter. It's the Pixela ImageMaker Version 2.2 or something. I have the application disk. I have the transfer utilities. I have the ImageMixer and Video Tools I have all of this stuff and not one page of instructions on how to use it. The Canon folks see fit to give me a thick book on how to handle the camera, and I've even managed to record a nice eight minute rant I wanted to upload to YouTube. But there is no manual or instruction disk for the Pixela stuff .. and I can't figure this crap out for the life of me. So ... any suggestions from you folks would be appreciated. Maybe there's some video-editing software out there that beats Pixela. Maybe someone knows where I can find a simple set of instructions. You see, I don't have a TV show, and apparently that's what it takes to be a successful talk show host these days. So I'm setting up my own channel on YouTube .. but the way things are going the first video I'll be able to post will be one of my retirement party.
