THE MEXICAN INVASION

Previous Posts

By Neal Boortz

Start out the Nuze with something a little off-the-wall today. Yes, I know that the great tax cut debate is going on in Washington, and the leak of all of those documents by some rather strange characters is leading the news .. but I wanted to start with this because the Arizona illegal immigration law takes effect on Friday of this week. It seems that the illegals are bailing --- Phoenix (the kidnapping center of America) is covered with garage and sidewalk sales as the illegals prepare to head for the hills. Frankly ... I'm lovin' it. Yes, the papers are full of stories of businesses that may have to shut their doors because of lost customers ... but it's hard to gin up any sympathy for businesses that survived serving criminal clientele. Karma is a bitch.

There are a few things you might find interesting about the Mexican invasion of the United States. First: The majority of Mexicans still in Mexico think that the Southwest United States belongs to them anyway. They believe that what now comprises Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and most of California was illegally taken from them. We, therefore, are the illegals. Not them. They even have a name for the brave Mexicans who cross the border to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. They are called Reconquistadores.

Secondly .. and this is an interesting point .. many of the Hispanics who cross the border into this country illegally have no working understanding of the concept of the rule of law. The law, to them, is situational. If the situation seems to demand that they cross over into the United States to look for jobs with higher pay .. .then how can that be wrong as long as they aren't violating anyone's personal rights?

Now .... The Question ...

.. and this is all leading up to a book that I really want you to take the time to read.

What do you think would happen if some charismatic leader emerged in Mexico; a leader who was determined to take back what he believes rightfully belongs to the Mexican people; namely, the Southwestern United States. Let's say he has a total non-violent approach, but his goal nonetheless is to reclaim this area for Mexico, eventually to be named The Republica del Norte.

Well speed up the scenario here to the point where this leader has enlisted a huge following in Mexico ... and by huge I'm talking in the millions. Finally, it's time for him to make his move. He starts moving his followers to the border with the United States. No guns, no threats, no rock throwing ... entirely peaceful. Bit by bit, day by day, thousands of additional Mexicans arrive at the border. They set up camps along the border, existing on whatever food, water and supplies that they brought with them and can find locally. Thousands grow into tens then hundreds of thousands. Then into the millions. Leftist (and largely anti-American) human rights organizations around the world mobilize to provide these encampments with food and medical care. The numbers keep growing.

Finally we reach a point where there are, perhaps, as many as ten million Mexicans waiting at the border. The leader and his henchmen are circulating among them making speeches about how they will soon move to cross the border into the United States so that they, too, can enjoy the riches and the opportunities enjoyed by Americans for generations ... enjoyed by Americans in lands stolen from the Mexican people.

As the numbers grow .. as the threat increases ... the great debate rages in the United States. What are we going to do? These people are unarmed. Is it time for us to open our borders and welcome our neighbors from the South? Or is it time to mass the National Guard on our border to protect American sovereignty. Can't you just hear the debate raging between the left and the right?

"All these people want is what we all want! They're just pursuing the American dream like we are!"

"Can't you see? It's an invasion force! Once these people cross the border they will be followed by tens of millions of Mexicans fleeing the poverty and corruption of their country to make their lives in the United States? We simply don't have the funds or the infrastructure to support them!"

So ... here's the question. Just what do you think we would do ... what would we be willing to do ... if we awoke one day to find millions of Mexicans camped along our border ready to move as one into the United States. Just what do you think we would do .. if anything .. to stop them?

Well .. there just happens to be a book that was written about just such a scenario. The book is The Camp of the Saints by Jean Raspail. Here are just a few of the comments posted on Amazon.com:

  • During my long-ago youth, I remember people discussing a coming war of the Haves against the Have-nots. Well, what if the Have-nots launched their invasion armed not with pathetically out-of-date weapons, but with empty, out-stretched hands? In this book, author Jean Raspail examines just such an eventuality.
  • This book is so politically incorrect that I admire Amazon.com for actually carrying it.
  • It is Jean Raspail's belief that the West has lost its will to power, and that with declining birthrates, the West is doomed to extinction; submerged beneath a wave of invaders. "Many a civilization, victim of the selfsame fate, sits tucked in our museums, under glass, neatly labeled."
  • Definitely makes you think in regards to immigration from Mexico to the US and the whole debate on building the wall, etc. to contain it.

Maybe you ought to click on the link and order this book. You might be reading about our future.
