MARGINALIZING A MOVEMENT

I should have seen it coming - the Democrat strategy in the wake of Obamacare. Rather than allowing the public to focus on the facts, Democrats began focusing on the protests, trying to paint a picture of their opponents as violent fringe whackos and racists. Predictably, the ObamaMedia fell right into step with their Democrat masters. At this point its hard to keep count of the number of "Republicans and those Tea Party zealots are violent and dangerous" stories that have appeared across the board.

While Washington may consider the Tea Party movement to be a fringe element of society, American voters disagree. The latest Rasmussen polls show that by a 62% to 12% margin, mainstream Americans say the Tea Party activists share views closer to their own. What's more, 52% of Americans believe that the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress.

Did you know that in the past few days a liberal talk show host called Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly to kill themselves? Funny how this didn't make it into the news, don't you think? Of course during the Bush years it was not at all uncommon to hear the more radical among the left call for the assassination of the President. Somehow the media didn't claim
